My buddy picked the place because he saw it. We discovered a gem. We had fish pakora, beef curry and shrimp curry. It looks like everyone gets a complimentary papadam which was very nice, light, and crispy. The fish pakora came with 2 dipping sauces. One was decent and the other really amazing. Both curries totally enjoyable, but the beef curry was particularly delicious. We had garlic naan and they were huge. I had a chai and it came out piping hot like it should. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Next time I need to try their Nepalese dishes. They also have a non-Indian section on the menu as well that looks good. Sorry, no pics. We were hungry.

Absolutely loved the Chicken Curry and Naan - so fresh and fluffy. The Steamed Rice was a let down, left a white film on our spoons and had an earthy taste as if the starch was not rinsed off. I guess make your own rice because it was not the kind of quality you should be paying for.

This place has some very tasty Indian food. Our server (Manpreet) was wonderful and took the time to help me navigate the menu.

Had dinner with family over the weekend. Amazing experience. Food was incredible. We bad multiple dishes and everyone was fantastic. Truly authentic.

We ordered garlic naan sekuwa tandoori fish and chilli fish the food was just not worth sekuwa was just like wood not eatable I don’t have words for this restaurant.

If your looking for authentic food, this is the place! Their food is beyond amazing, and the customer service is definitely on point. You will not be disappointed!

What a lovely meal! Everything was fresh and full of flavour. The spice was customizable, so we balanced mild and medium. The chai latte is delicious. We ordered one of each flavour of naan; all were soft, fresh, and wonderful. The Nepalese chicken and egg noodles were a favourite, as were the memo and butter chicken samosas. We ordered extra to go so we would have a second meal for tomorrow night!

Came to Edmonton from Vanderhoof BC, had the best indian food so far, the service was immaculate, will sure come back anytime in Edmonton, loved the food️️️️️

We had the Mango Chicken, Coconut rice, Chili Chicken momos and garlic naan bread.

Everything was amazing. We got the dishes "medium" as this was our first time trying this place. Medium is the perfect amount for us, and we're used to spicy on everything. I can't wait to try more dishes from this place!

Just stuffed our faces with a take out from here! The food was incredible and original. I ordered enough to feed about 6 people for the 2 of us, and happy I get to eat it for the next few nights to come!

I've been here several times and it never disappoints. The food is always cooked fresh and l have my choice of how spicy l want it. Portions are very generous and the prices are reasonable. I always have enough for more than one meal. Parking is never an issue as it is located in a strip mall just off 111 ave. Staff is always friendly. This has become one of my favorite places.

Ordered take-out light fare food which turned out to be unapologetic in spiciness and bumping with flavour. Easy to tell that only fresh ingredients were used.

If they reduced the oiliness a notch, this place would be leading the pack.

The food is always good - try the Butter chicken lunch special - get it spicy - hot- if you like a bit of heat! The garlic Naan is excellent.

We stumbled on this Bistro on a quick trip to Edmonton. We had business on the West End and pulled in to the parking lot to go to a coffee place and then noticed the bistro had Indian food. So glad we were curious enough to go in! First off, we noticed the artwork featuring Nepal and then Nepalese food on the menu. We've been to Nepal, so we were super excited to meet the Nepalese owner. We chose to try Indian and Nepalese food that night, and it was amazing! Delicious, generous portions and reasonably priced. The owner was checking in with us throughout our meal. Super friendly. You can tell their is great pride and delight in what they make and serve. We had a 3 hour drive home that night and all we could talk about was that fantastic meal and how we want to tell everyone about Mountain Bistro. It is going to be 'our' spot now when we go to Edmonton.

Absolutely fantastic experience we had yesterday. Delicious food, great selection, friendly and professional service and nice chat with the staff when leaving. We will be definitely back next time we are in Edmonton. Way to do the business thank you guys, my Lamb Curry with coconut rice and naan bread was the tastiest end of year 2022.

Wonderful dining experience. The food was delicious and our waitress was friendly, attentive, and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Had lunch with a friend. The food tasted good. Good size portions at a very reasonable price. Ordered a veg combo and a meat combo. Both came with three curries, rice, naan, salad and dessert all for under $35
Service was great. Will definitely visit more often to try other items on their extensive menu.

Had to update my last review of this restaurant. Use to be a very good restaurant - had a nice mix of East Indian and Western menu options at reasonable prices. Visited recently and found they got rid of all their breakfast menu, which use to be very good. But decided to stay for a couple of sandwiches and coffees. The sandwiches were ok, but ended up paying over $35.00 for these 2 sandwiches and 2 coffees - very unreasonable. Won’t be back.

Really enjoyed the food; can recommend the special momos but all was super tasty. Enough leftover for breakfast. Will order again most definitely.

Ordered takeout and went to pick it up. The first impressions were very good. Nice clean shop with a great aroma and a lot of character. The service was very polite and eager to please. The food tasted great and was full of flavor. The wife and I will definitely be going back!

Wonderful hidden gem of a restaurant near the Telus World of Science. Everything I’ve had from the menu is fresh and full of flavour. For lunch I like to get the chicken bruschetta sandwich. I’ve also had the

I've ordered skip the dishes from this restaurant a few times and it's always been very tasty and such a treat to have tasty lunch delivered to work on Fridays! I also ordered for dinner at home and it was really tasty. We came for dinner tonight and the service was absolutely phenomenal and the food was great. Their menu is extensive, great variety and they have something for everyone. The owner, chef and other staff are really welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant good ambience too.

I have been trying out their food lately and below is what I have tried so far and a review for each.
Veggie Spring Rolls - Excellent (filling, crunchy wrapper, not oily)
Nepalese Egg Fried Rice - Excellent (eggs were not enough but the rice was so delicious I forgot about the eggs LOL)
Chicken Biryani - Excellent
Italian-Style Bruschetta - Good

I got chicken tikka wraps and it was the worst wrap ever as it was completely covered in oil so much greasy I could not believe how can they even serve something like that.worst experience getting wrap from them first time and last time.would not recommend wrap from them, dont know about other stuff they make but wrap definitely not.

Amazing staff, food and service. 10 of 10 recommend. Fish Pakoras are the best I ever had. Ordered pickup and food was ready at the perfect timing.

LOVE this place. Always my go-to for ‘skip the dishes’ orders. The beef samosas are to-die-for! My husband (trained chef) is very picky and actually said they are the best samosas he’s ever had.

Unreal sandwiches, excellent coffee, and true service with a smile. One of the best restaurant experiences I've had in awhile. Will definitely be back again!

Good hospitality, beautiful location, professionally prepared menus, beautifully decorated the restaurant with Nepali and Indian flavour. I hope no one will disappoint who enters this restaurant. The momo is tasty and juicy. I personally would like to recommend anyone looking for mouthwatering taste of Nepali and Indian cuisine.

I absolutely LOVE this place! The food is amazing and so is the staff! I've had the butter chicken, paneer masala, coconut rice and 2 types naan so far. I'm looking forward to eating my way through their menu. Lol

Excellent food! Had lots of great dishes, all great including the Momo which was delicious. The staff are lovely and kind as well. Awesome!

We tried the honey naan, fish pakora, special momo, coconut chicken curry and dal. All dishes were generous and well-priced and delicious.

The staff were friendly and helpful and I look forward to coming back for more take-out (and hopefully, to eat-in) and to try out their coffee.

The chicken tikka masala was ABSOLUTELY AMAZEBALLZ. Eat it with the coconut honey naan. Best independent restaurant I've been to. The owner even came out to chat and offer suggestions.

Best indian food in town. Best Naan Bread, Best Samosas, Best looking Curry and rice. Yum Yum! I am so happy for great indian food right in my neighbourhood in westmount. I dont have to go all the way to southside for delicious food. Great customer service. I go all the time here, my favorite spot!

I got the Chicken Tikka Wrap last week for lunch. It was absolutely incredible. Very fresh ingredients. The service was also exceptional. I will be going back!

Have picked up take out from here three times and tried a variety of items, each one has been amazing! From curries to sandwiches, the chefs here are so good at what they do. The portions are great. The service is also beyond what I was expecting - very friendly, fast and personable. Can't wait to keep trying our way through the menu!

This was such a great experience. We ordered take out for Mother's Day. I had been eyeing this restaurant for some time and was curious about it. I decided to take the jump and ordered a feast. When I got to the restaurant, I was super impressed with how clean the space was and how the scents welcomed me as soon as I opened the door. I was early and was able to see how the food was freshly prepared as I waited. The naan bread was only baked at the very last minute to ensure it was packed hot and fresh. The service was humble and accomodating. I wished we were able to experience dining in because it was just such a welcoming experience. When we got home and unpacked the feast, we were shocked at how much food was packed and the quality and taste were 10/10. This will be our new go-to place. Thank you, so much, Grean Beans Mountain Bistro. Me and my family will be returning many times.

Excellent and interesting cuisine of a consistent high standard. Delicious Nepalese spicy Vegetable Noodles! Stunning Paneer Butter Masala! Mouthwatering Chicken Kadai. A highlight are the homemade Breads.thick, yet melt-in-the-mouth deliciousness. Great Coffee too. A delightful Owner & staff.

The place is cozy, very clean washroom and friendly staff. I did not appreciate their chai tho its bland, but the food is great.

Nice local bistro with friendly atmosphere. Enjoyed a sandwich with flavourful Montreal smoked meat that was juicy and practically melted in my mouth.

Delicious! My co-worker recommended we try this for lunch and today was the day. I had the Greek chicken wrap with a bowl of clam chowder and it was fantastic! Rave reviews all around the office. Awesome food!

We have tried this place for a few months now. We loved the food and the staff are so friendly. The reason that I am giving it only one star is that last time we went there, we noticed the guy who makes the sandwiches (owner?) blew his nose and then continued on with making the sandwiches without washing his hands! Not a scene you expect to see in front of the customers. We were so disgusted: (not going back there again.

They have a keto breakfast, how easy is it to replace toast and hashbrowns with Greek salad but yet a lot of breakfast places don't do anything like that. Well priced and delicious, not crazy about the type of bacon they use but still pretty good.

Went in for lunch, and the food is amazing. First time I've ever been. The clan chowder is flavourful, and has nice big pieces of vegetable, The italian hero sandwich is just amazing, with thin slices of onion, fresh basil, and lovely meats.

The staff was friendly, and the chef was fast and pleasant.

I highly recommend this place.
