Green drop offers good services but the one issue i have had with them is that their folks keep going to the wrong address and perform the services that I paid for. This has happened 3-4 times both with green drop and buzz boss. Every time i have complained they do send the keeper back to perform the service. Wonder how many times this happens without the owners noticing the mistake. Very frustrating

I wouldn't count on Green Drop to be professional, in fact, I find them to be complacent more than anything. Two of the last three years they've caused significant damage to my lawn due to using a core aerator that has not been properly disinfected. They came out for an inspection and claimed this was 'winter kill', even though you can clearly small, circular dead patches that are symmetrically/evenly spaced. You can also clearly see where they started the aeration, as this has the most severe/impacted areas of dead grass and then the severity eventually decreases along aeration path as the infected tines get covered in the soil from my lawn. Not good value in my mind and certainly a case of not getting what you pay for. Save your money during these higher-inflation times and do your own lawn care if you are able.

We’ve used Green Drop for a handful of years and we are pleased with their quality of service for the price! Andan did our aeration and over seeding today, he was super pleasant, efficient, cleaned up after himself and even let our 3 year olds watch and help with grass seeding. They loved it. Would recommend!

The worst company. Save your money and time. We have used this company for a year or 2 and each year we say we won't use them again. They spray very little, use excesses as to why they can do a job. They can't open a latch on a gate so that excuse has been used. Now the newst excuse is they can't spray weed and fertilizer on newly or fresh cut grass. I am told on the phone for a refund it would take 24 business days and the guy laughed as he said it. I am told a service manager will call me back today (on a Friday after 5) or tomorrow on a Saturday. Funny thing is they are not opened on the weekend. Horrible service by the workers and so called customer service.

We are usually customers of Weedman but because they don't offer aeration in the Spring we were forced to use a different company. Not only did we pay upfront for a service we never got, ($90 for aeration which is more expensive then Green Drop's competitors) but getting a refund and getting any responses is a nightmare. I was never called back upon my initial call, once I finally got through to someone the person was very pleasant but basically couldn't do anything herself and gave me zero proof of a refund and I have to trust a company that has already let me down. Basic business practices are lacking and I would go to Weed Man over Green Drop anyday!

Green drop does a great job! The technicians are always pleasant and helpful, and my lawn has been weed free and green since I started using them a few years ago!

FINAL UPDATE:

Sadly, the remaining 2022 lawn season has come and gone, and 2023 season is upon us, and you've guessed, still no follow up from Green Drop. One repair/seed, and follow ups promised but they ended up ghosting me, and I am left holding the bag (of my own seed), to fill in the huge areas of dead spots, low quality soil, and bare patches. I've been stewing on this all winter, and just can't seem to let it go. I should not have to take care of this once again, on my own. Time to save face and make things right, Green Drop. I look forward to someone once again contacting me in regards to this long overdue issue, and trying to recoup the great relationship we once had.

UPDATED FURTHER:

After weeks, I was finally contacted by the newest employee in charge of handling day to day operations. He apologized for the long delay, and assured me that he was sorting through the backlog of issues left by his predecessor. We spoke over the phone about the lawn issues that we dealt with all season long (please read the previous reviews below), and we formulated a plan to Green Drop come out to remove all the dead grass/completely dead patches, replace with proper, high quality soil this time around, and reseed before the end of the fall. Because I had good soil on the property already, I even offered for them to use it, and thus save themselves the cost and hassle of having to visit a garden centre or landscape company to purchase. I was told how much they appreciated that, and that although busy, they would make it out before the snow flew. The goal was to have the seed down, and allow it to germinate under the snow over the winter (which is great for the lawn). I told him there was no rush, just as long as it gets done. Well, it's been almost 4 months once again, and not only did they no-show, I have yet to even be contacted. Unfortunately, Green Drop now lays claim to the worst customer service/communication I have ever received from a large scale business, and although the portions of the lawn that did not die off last winter were green, and weed free, I can no longer recommend this business to any friends, family, neighbors or people taking the time to read through this review. In closing, let me just state how unbelievably disappointed I am in Green Drop. It went from the highest of highs, to the lowest of lows in one season.

Hired Green Drop to do snow removal this winter. They were amazing. Came out three days in a row when they didnt really have to. Cleared sidewalks even when the just the wind blew snow. Never had to call them they just showed up and did a great job at a very competitive price.

Their service is O. K.but if you want to cancel the service, it is very difficult to get it done. It happened to me few times. Two years ago I called their office and asked to cancel the service person who answered me said "OK it is cancelled" but they started work on my lawn and sent me invoice. I did not say anything and paid. This year service I asked them to cancel and same thing happened. Finally I sent them an e-mail and get an e-mail confirmation from them. So If anyone need to cancel the service get it inwriting. Do not trust the people who answer the phone. They need your money. Without informing they come and do the work and send you invoice. That is really bad.

Green Drop has little regard for non-subscribers. Spraying with a wind of 47km/h and gusts to 60 is well outside recommended procedures.

Paid for the service last year and decided not to renew this year. To my surprise they have sent me a bill for work I did not request this year and may have added unknown additional chemicals to my yard with out consent. There is no area on their website where you can cancel so they are running a service scam…. Buyer beware.

Had a green keeper come out on May 11. Looked on my camera from the time he started spraying and the time he finished was not even 4 minutes. Never did my backyard and did a poor job in the front yard. Waiting for someone to call me back.

I just contracted them and I agreed to the $292.91 website deal amount. Soon after, I was alerted by my credit card that they charged me $325+. What the hell? I called them back to cancel. I’m on the phone now with my credit card to hold that transaction. ———- I was contacted by Ashton after one day and he addressed my concerns and I will now proceed with their services. My concern was handled professionally and am looking forward to what my lawn will look like this year. Thanks Ashton.
