A peaceful and flat walk through the woods and along the elbow river, this walk provides ample opportunities to see birds, small rodents, and mushrooms; along with all manner of foothills forest flora.

Great tree lined trails within city limits. Flat enough to bring a jogging stroller or have a toddler walk without difficulty. Snow packed down very well on the trails, some areas icy - bring ice cleats for a more enjoyable experience.

Beautiful dog friendly park. Great trails, easy and lush. Love that there is protected wildlife land there too

Really cool man made waterfall into a cool stream that flows through a slough. Nice paths and nice community

My dogs love it there, it's always a nice walk in the woods with beautiful scenery, especially with the river running though

A beautiful place, there is where to take a walk and the water is clean, there are a lot of Christmas trees and clean fresh air.

Amazing place.
Very wild park, I recommend to follow the main trail to not get lost.
As you see in the pics, I went there at night, it was nice experience

It is truly my favorite. It will be one that my kids will remember into adulthood, as I've always taken them here. It's my go to for walks.

Lots of pretty trees and river views. Its like visiting Bragg Creek but in Calgary. What's not to love? My fav Calgary park tied with maybe Bowness Park.

It is a shame that there is gargabe all over the area. Poop from pets can be found on the walkway without owners taking care of that.

Nice close to town walk. Popular so don't expect to get the place to yourself especially at weekends.

The nature trails are awesome, well maintained. No wildlife seen on our visit, but definitely in the past.
The water is crystal clear in the beaver ponds.
Really enjoyed this space.
