Group 23 provides exceptional sport specific injury consultation, diagnosis and recovery planning. The location is convenient and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Whether seeing a doctor, physio, or purchasing specialized braces my experience has always been positive and put me on track to rehabilitation.

I have been going to physiotherapy for a couple of months and it has been great. All the staff here are friendly and helpful. I got referred to a doctor and in a day I had an appointment to talk about the next steps to help fix my knee.

I would recommend this place to everyone that has an old or new injury.

Front desk staff is great. Sometimes a long hold time if you call but you can always leave a message and they will call you right back!

I have been going to see Amy for a few months with a disk injury. After the very first appointment I was pain free for the first time in 6 years, the staff is always very friendly and the facility is too notch.

Group23 and all of the team have been instrumental in keeping me on the race course now for more than 5 years. I have avoided surgery and being able to complete an Ironman while managing knee pain and arthritis. I feel very supported in my sport and the Doctors have helped me set realistic goals and achieve them. Group23 provide a one stop shop where I can get to see a doctor, physiotherapist, orthotic, and X-ray in the same place.

Very fast to admit to room! Didn't wait more than 6 minutes for doctor. Plus doctor very attractive making my visit a 5 STAR experience!

Absolutely amazing - right from arriving at a very bustling reception to the professionals themselves. I have been here a number of times to see Dr. Beavington and Nicole (physio) and each time I have been seen on time, eagerly, and with warmth. They are both exceptional at what they do and I thoroughly enjoy my appointments (which is insane as I am rehabbing a fairly significant injury). I would recommend 100 percent of people to this clinic for the services provided as they are exceptional. The only downside is I have had to walk considerable distances to appointments (with an ankle injury) due to the unavailability of parking as there have been other events happening that tied up the parking lot, which seems like is a recent problem, but something to consider nonetheless.

I am a health professional and my decision to go to the Dr. 's and physio services at G23 has been delightful. They are respectful and personally invested in me as a person (senior) and collaborative in discussing options and giving me informed choices.
I have been there over a span of two years and consistently received the best in services from the front end booking staff, to followup on pre/post care for knee replacement and for a range of physiotherapy issues. They represent the best in both private and public health care services delivery!
Having read some negative reviews, I can only say everyone has an off day and I would not hold a standard that I myself could not offer to my own patients.

The doctors and physiotherapists here are top-notch. I had dislocated my shoulder, and after having a very detailed explanation of what the damage was, Emily McNeil-Smith took over directing my recovery. Over the course of a few months, she laid out treatment with heat, cold, acupuncture, and exercise. She got me from not wanting to raise my arm up to now being comfortable reaching for the Stars.ok maybe a bit dramatic, but it was a very positive experience. I would recommend Emily and this organization 100%.

I am so thankful that my family doctor referred me to this clinic, and even more so that I have been seen by Dr. Pauline Sawicki since last year.

She actually listens and seeks to understand first, unlike most doctors who start typing away without even making eye contact. In every visit I have felt that I have her full attention and never rushed. She is also the most empathetic doctor I know.

Dr. Sawicki has been the biggest help and encouragement in the rehabilitation and strengthening for my rt-side periscapular musculature dysfunction and weakness. Thanks to her, I am in a much better form now.

Have been coming here for many months. The physiotherapists are amazing. Reception recently booked my appointment a week earlier than I had requested and I got charged a $100 penalty. I called in and the receptionist gave me attitude when I brought it up. I have a rheumatological condition and have been to many physios and have not experienced this before. Will not be coming back or referring anyone.

-Had awesome help from this clinic to help ‘restoring’ my teared rotator cuff.
-I was referred there for a second opinion as my family doc said I need surgery for the injury n has arranged MRI pre surgery arrangements etc.
-Dr Auld attended me. He was nice and affirming that I don’t probably need surgery but start with inflammatory injection n physio. (my 1st relief being scarred of surgery n recovery being at 71yrs of age)
-Dr Beavington did my injection. Him n nurse Connie? Explained carefully to me how it can help. (2nd relief)
-Amy Bauerle was my physiotherapist. She was patient, helpful, professional n sincere. Taking time to help me understand each exercise movement n very encouraging.

-I was helped by Leslie at front desk. She was pleasant n so are the rest of them, helping out to look for appointments during my visits.
Very positive experience overall.
I am now almost back to normal movements with very little pain in just ONE month. THANKS EVERYONE!

I have nothing but gratitude towards this clinic. April and Kayla are amazing at what they do. Dr. Thorne for his expertise and making sure I was sent in the right direction. Dr. Manning is an amazing advocate for his patients and it's clear he cares that you get the treatment required. Dr. Johnson for his amazing injection skills, he's too humble to boast but I'd wager he is one of the few practitioners in this country who can pull off (3times) the challenging procedure I required. And Dr. Martin. I'm amazed that we have a surgeon of this calibre in Calgary. He is a leading expert on complex knee surgeries, has a very reassuring bedside manner, and I have full confidence that everybody who ends up in his hands will receive exceptional care.
I send my own patients here and have no doubts they will receive top notch care.

After getting a bad injury skiing, I was provided with 10 physio treatments from AHS. I went to Group23 provided them with my prescription for treatment, their online portal made me provide my insurance.

After 7 appointments I get a phone call saying I owe them money. Instead of telling me they aren't set up for payment by AHS. They used up my benefits and then told me "we can't use your AHS prescription, you owe use money and we apologize".

Great spot! Highly recommend this place! They treat my kids really well the staff so knowledge abs helpful. Prices are reasonable and the location is great. Highly recommend it. They go above and beyond to help you out! Thanks again

My Treatment for a severely torn Hamstring was with Craig Rohla at COP. Although Hamstrings do repair themselves under certain conditions Craig was instrumental in getting the healing started. His treatment & advice was excellent and has helped me heal almost a 100%. Thank you Craig

I am very glad for the treatment that I received from Yung Wong, the pain that I was feeling on my knees is almost gone. I appreciate the professionalism and excellent way to treat to the patients.

Although it is a little expensive then other facilities but it they totally justify it. This is probably one of the best sports medicine facilities in City of Calgary. A one stop shop for all injuries.

Doctors are GPs and Family Physicians and claim to be taking new patients but refused to take family looking for doctor. College of Physicians & Surgeons said they were open to new patients.

Excellent physicians who really care and take the time to know you, help you, and ensure you understand their recomendations. I feel confident in saying you are in the very best of hands no matter who you see at Group 23. Large staff of physicians who work together as a team to give you your best life. Front end staff are always very helpful and happy to do so. I am truly so grateful to everyone I have seen at Group 23.

I can’t recommend Group 23 enough! Every staff member is extremely helpful and works to ensure positive experiences for patients. The physical therapists are top notch and take time to get to know patients to assess, treat, and manage injuries. Highly recommend!

Great place the specialist doctors are the best. I was there in 2019 seen a awesome knee specialist which helped me with my knee problem. I have now been referred back to a knee specialist. I'm waiting to hear about an appointment now. Hopefully I get in soon I have another knee problem with my other knee now. I hope I get in there really fast are there a great. The Specialist that I've seen there are always fantastic. I highly recommend anybody that needs to see somebody that specializes in injuries whether they be from car accidents Sports or just an incident that happened to go there. The staff is great very friendly and very helpful. So are the specialist that works here.

They took the time to explain my injury and all the steps required for it to heal efficiently. Staff was very supportive and helpful throughout the whole visit.
