Grower Direct

I ordered the deluxe prettiest picture for my wife. They didn't have the exact arrangement available at the time I requested delivery. They contacted me first to make sure I was ok with what they had available. The bouquet my wife received was beautiful and she loves them.

After going on to their webpage site and choosing a bouquet of peace lilies, I was mortified when my friend sent a picture of what was actually delivered to her house. The plant selection which was substituted for the lilies, because none were available, looked like they had stopped at Safeway to pick it up. The owner actually asked me if I would like her to go back and pick it up when I complained! It was supposed to be for a bereavement and I can only think how absolutely foolish it would be to go back and knock on the door and ask for it back. She had every opportunity in the day to explain to me that what I ordered was not available, but chose not to do so. I will never use this florist again and would never recommend them. Wish I could post pictures to show you what she substituted the peace lilies with.

The older lady who works there is rude, and unhelpful. The plants and flowers are overpriced and outdated. Go to Calyx, you’ll be happy you didn’t waste your money.

Beautiful arrangement sent. Wonderful customer service as they didn’t have exactly what was pictured, but they phoned and offered other similar flowers in abundance.

Thank you to Lorraine, Joanne and all the wonderful staff at Growers Direct! I live out of province and they were so amazing in sending my beautiful sister flowers for Valentine’s Day. The bouquet was absolutely gorgeous. Thank you!

Horrible Experience, had flowers delivered to a person at a buisness. Flowers were late, delivery showed up at 4pm. It was too late at this point for the person receiving to get them! Ordered first thing in the morning. Will not be a return customer and will not be recommending to anyone local in Red Deer. Completely disappointed. Plenty of other good flower companies that actually care about customer service. 0 stars if I could. I even phoned and was assured the delivery was on time.

Online order. Arrived on time and was as pictured on the website. Recipient loved the arrangement.

Very disappointed: (
Asked for "Forever Treasured" (orchids, roses, mums, delphinium, liatris, and more) in a spray and was told that purple roses weren't in stock but would replace with pink.
Ordered the "Deluxe" ($368) which was to contain even more flowers than pictured ($70more)
Received a spray of mostly carnations (cheapest flowers) 5 white roses (should have been at least 16), no orchids, no mums & no liatris. Was also charged for delivery.
When I called to express my disappointment, Joanne did not care or do anything to make it right.
