My cat suddenly started limping one day, and they got her in immediately to see why.
They took good care of her and didn't try to take the most expensive route for treatment, but the right treatment was still provided.
She recovered well, and they even had the food I had wanted for a while for her. If you feed your animals better quality food, they will have a better quality of life and live longer. It's worked for all my animals so far.
They continue to take great care of my two cats, and I would recommend them to anyone else.

When we called to make an appointment for our dog we said it was not an emergency, he just needed a gland expression and he had no other symptoms. We asked for the price to be prepared and they said this service was $28 here.

When we brought him in for his appointment, we reiterated to the receptionist we were only there for his glad expression because he already had two exams this year. She said she doesn't decide the billing and to talk to the Doctor.

Rachel, the DVM, was friendly and professional. She took him into another room for his gland expression then recommended he take a pill for deworming to be safe, which we agreed to. She confirmed the price of the pill ($38) and the price of the expression ($28). She let us know to bring him in again in roughly 3-4 months (if needed) and it would be the same price.

When we went to pay, the bill was $153.09 and there was an examination charge of $87. When we asked why it was there since he just had his glands done, the reception said it was a fee for every visit. We said we were told to expect $28 for this appointment, not $115. She said she didn't book it.

We asked for further clarification: the Doctor told us the next visit would be $28 for the same appointment, so how are we to know we won’t be charged $87 again? She said “say it when you call. " But we did call ahead of time for this visit and said exactly what we were there for. The receptionist went back to saying to expect to pay $87 for every visit, contradicting her suggesting to "say it when you call" and what the Doctor told us in the room.

She wouldn’t refund us and said the owner of the clinic would contact us instead. No one called.

A “standard fee” wasn’t disclosed to us.
After stating on the phone what the appointment was for and again in person before the appointment, we were told to expect to pay $28 (plus the deworming pill we agreed to in the room).

This comes down to a lack of transparency and proper communication between their staff. There’s a disconnect between what they tell you over the phone, what the Doctor says, and what you’re charged at reception. As the pet owner, we said numerous times he didn’t need an exam nor did we agree to one. We said he already had his exams and was in good health, he was there for a gland appointment and nothing else.

We called other locations and explained what happened. All said you're charged the amount for the service and a technician handles the gland expression (this fee varies from location to location) but you are not charged standard exam fees for every single appointment.

Very caring clinic. Dr. Anton and her staff are exceptional. Highly refer them.

Going here for 7 years with 2 fur babies. Absolutely #1 stop for emergencies, vaccines and other animal hospital needs. The staff are nice and always helpful. They seem genuinely concerned for your babies. However not the greatest for grooming. I have had my boy shaved here two times, both times asked for the same cut and got a completely different cut the second time. The other issue i had is where one of my boys is a mean boy and cannot even be wrapped for claw clips, the LAST time I took him there for claws it took an hour and his paw pad was brused and deformed, and the suggestion was made to put him under for clips (dangerous for older fuzzballs). Needless to say we do that at home now he still fights but not as much as he fights the staff apparently, I only wish they called if they were having that much of an issue.
Still best out there as they are wonderful vets (just not groomers)

Very pleased to find this vet so close to home.everyone was so friendly and really good with my fiesty, vocal and sometimes bad mannered cat lol

I'm so upset that one of the techs cut my kitty's nails too far and caused it to bleed. This has never happened before. And while I know these things happen, they could have let us know about it right away so we're aware. Not see dried blood a few days later on her paw. Not impressed and very angry.

The staff are amazing and my dog has no fears or anxiety going here. Prices seem very good too. I've always been able to get appointments very quickly. I'm very pleased with this place.

In September, our dog had a intestinal blockage. She has GI distress often, so I didn't think anything of it. When I brought her in, they quickly assessed her and said she needed surgery as soon as possible. They didn't waste any time and got her hooked up to some fluids. Within a couple of hours, she was in surgery and they saved my dogs life. I've had dogs my whole life and had never seen one that sick. It was horrible for our family and even worse for our Piper. Everyone at Hamptons, was amazing with her and treated her the way I expect my human children to be treated. They even let me take her home with her IV capped so I could try and get her to eat. Which she did. I will never go anywhere else now and I will never be able to thank them enough. We are going into 2023 with our Piper and she is healthy. Thank you Hamptons for being patient with me and saving my dog. No 'thank you' will ever seem adequate enough.
Vets are not cheap, but not only are you paying for treatments your animal needs, you're also paying for the unbelievable care they show them in their time of need.

Amazing Place to take your pets for what ever reason. Reasonable costs. Staff is very knowledgeable, caring and so friendly. This is the second time I have use this location to fix a pet of ours and I highly recommend this location to anyone needing a vet or just to have animal fixed. I trust them with my pets. Spay and neuter prices are amazing. Micro chip your pets for under 50$ plus tax. Easy location to get to. Parking is decent. Thank you to all the staff that took care of our animals, you put my stress at ease. WE will continue to highly recommend you all.

We brought our 8 year old Lab in when she started limping and not digesting her food. It was an emergency so we couldn’t get in to our regular vet.

The clinic was: 1. Clean and nice smelling, 2. Staffed with customer service oriented receptionists, 3. The vet was cost conscious, offering options and telling us costs and trade offs for each option, 4. Follow up was excellent.

It cost us $1000 but that is the nature of the medical issue we faced. We will definitely return if there is another issue.

Awesome staff. Very helpful and informative. They care very much for your pets and are knowledgeable with all your questions. Great vets and staff.

This is a wonderful animal clinic with a kind, attentive team, reasonable prices, and I am always happy with the care my pets have received! They are clean and efficient, I trust them completely. I've been coming here for awhile, they saved my kitty when he got into a lily, have vaccinated and neutered, dewormed the whole squad, treated my older cats bladder infection, and more. I've never been disappointed. They are all always so sweet and friendly to my pets. Highly recommended.

I’ve been coming here for years and unfortunately I’ll have to start going somewhere else. I had my appointment confirmed for 4: 30 and on the day of the appointment it was moved earlier without notifying me first. They told me the clinic closes at 4: 30 when clearly it states it closes at 5 on Saturdays. I thought maybe it was my fault and rescheduled but it happened again the following weekend. Staff cares more about leaving early on the weekend than they do for my pets. It would’ve been totally cool with me if they wanted me to come earlier, all they had to do was ask.

I had my first visit today with my 12 year old JRT. My vet was Dr. Anton.
She is An absolutely dedicated and knowledgeable Veterinary. All of my expectations and health plan were met and exceeded by Dr. Anton.
She is so caring and very detailed in her exams and makes you feel you are in the best hands possible.
I fully recommend The Hamptons Veterinary Hospital and especially Dr. Anton.
