Yummy! We will be back. The restaurant could give more complimentary side dishes like other Korean restaurants.

The broth is exceptionally rich, and the noodles have a delightful chewiness. A place worth revisiting for sure! Looking forward to exploring more from their menu on my next visit.

We were there at 5 pm and the restaurant was full in 30 minutes!
They offer kimchi and a piece of braised pork for each person
The pork bone broth noodle soup is a big portion. There are 3 enormous bones with meat in it. And the texture of the meat is like it melts right in the mouth worth the time trying to peel the meat from the bones.
Service is good!

The servers were kind, although their voices could have been louder than the music they played. I wished one of the servers would tie his hair back.

I recommend trying the Chicken and Seafood noodle dishes, but I suggest avoiding the Beef noodle due to its unpleasant odor of aged beef and a soup taste resembling broth tablets.

Both types of dumplings were incredibly delicious.

The interior of the place was cold, requiring a jacket. Despite its resemblance to a warehouse, it appeared clean.

One of the best Korean restaurants in Calgary. The kalguksu tastes very fresh and delicious, you can tell they put a lot of love into it. The jjim, pork, and mandu are also great, but the kimchi is to die for! I always get some to takeout, they make some of the best kimchi in Calgary as well.

Delicious & comforting food! We ordered their beef and pork soup. Broth was rich and flavourful and meats were juicy.

I go to a lot of restaurants and I feel like I got scammed here. Idk if they think I'm a dog who eats bone for dinner but that's basically what I got when I went here. The broth was tasteless. I've had Vietnamese soup, Indonesian soup, Malaysian soup, Filipino soup and been to Japan and tried all kinds of ramen and this restaurant is such a scam for the price they're selling it for. No meat at all. I'm not a cheap person but cmon let's get real here, stop scamming people. And by the time I went to pay, they automatically ask for 18% when they only came to my table once. Like are you kidding me. For all the people who don't believe me, order the pork soup and see for yourself. Never going back here again, not getting scammed twice.

Found this restaurant from a friend. The beef noodles are delicious, the broth was perfect with great flavors.

Not sure what the hype is about, the soup is bland and practically has no meat, the dumplings are disgusting and the pancakes are mostly batter.

But price was a bit expensive for a meal.
I would like to recommend this to whoever loves Korean Kalguksu (noodle) ~ I like taste of the broth they had. Great deep flavor!
Also, dumplings! Wooo hooo~ damn it is soo good!

We've officially tried all the soups there and can safely say we've enjoyed them all and you can't go wrong with any of them. I personally enjoyed the seafood and chicken based soup the most and the housemade kimchi is spicier than most other establishments which is great. The only suggestion I have would be to have a dipping sauce for the panjeon!

Kimchi is very good! I really enjoy their kimuchi. Noodle.soup is good but not hot. Korean pancake is not great than other places. I should order dumplings, looks good. I will try other noodle and dumplings.

Hanbo is your go to place for hearty and homestyle staple noodle soups. I wouldn't say I was blown out of the water by their dumplings or soup, but the taste is consistent and satisfying. In particular, the portions are excellent and their banchan is delicious!

Hanbo really stands out for their customer service, though. Their staff is very kind and attentive. I love to support places like Hanbo!

A delicious new restaurants! Hanbo Korean Noodles opened a couple of months ago and it's excellent! We went there before 6 and already had to wait for a table. Therefore, make sure you come early or else be prepared to wait. This restaurant took over Hot Point Bubble Tea. They specialize in Hand Pull noodles and dumplings. My husband and I ordered the noodle soup today. My particular order was the Chicken soup. Man, it's one of the best hand made noodles I had in Calgary. The broth was very tasty and the home made noodles was soooooo yummy! The sauces they gave us were a perfect fit as well. Their dumplings look FANTASTIC and almost every table was ordering it. We didn't because we were not too hungry but definitely will get it next time. They are HUGE! Service was great. They will explain the sauces to you and refill them if need be.

Like I said this is packed! I have a feeling this place will be around for awhile. Very happy to have something this delicious in my neighborhood!

Had to wait about 45 minutes on a Saturday night but the food was good and the service was impeccable. My favorites of the night were the seafood pancake and the pork bone noodle soup. The mandus were huge but the meat filling was dry.

One of the best spots in Calgary for authentic Korean food. Great service, kimchi is amazing and house made. No complaints, except due to the business we had to wait for a bit in line before eating! (Worth it)

Love the kalguksu noodles! You should try their kimchi mandu as well. Staff supper friendly!

The flavors here reminds me of Seoul! Love the small and simple menu - all the dishes we tried were amazing. I will definitely be frequenting this spot! There is a bit of a wait but it’s worth it.

Exceptional food. I have fairly high standards for kalguksu as a Korean myself, but they do it right here. The mandu was also great. We'll definitely be regulars here.

Tried few times, but sad to say that I felt their taste and customer service are already going down. Good broth soup but too salty, the pancake was good but dumplings were too salty. I had a bite and cannot finish the rest. A dish of 6 dumplings are highly priced. I know they are big dumplings, but perhaps consider make them smaller to 10 pieces or lower the price. I loved their Kimchi and I enjoyed it, but their kimchi dumplings were too spicy. I saw many employees working there, but my table was served late. Lack of customer service skill.

If you love noodle, this is the numero uno place to go. The richness of the broth just gives you amazing flavour to the noodle. Mandu and kimchi is also amazing too.

The place is always packed! So be ready to wait around 30min to be seated! Definitely worth the wait!

Pork Mandu was really good too, but lacking flavour.
The Beef Kalguksu was amazing, the noodles were really fresh and hand-made (you will notice the difference) and the broth was really nice on a cold day. Will definitely be back

I hate to say this since I really wanted to like it… but I could taste too much MSG in the broth and seafood pancake and felt a little sick after: (kimchi dumplings were better than the pork ones. Had to wait around 30 minutes.

The noodles are terrific. I love Galbitang so this is almost like a noodle soup version. The mandu is pretty flavorless, but they're big, juicy, and look like deez nuts. The kimchi cold noodle is great too.

Went to try for first time. Got there at 5 pm so that we don’t have to wait. Although on pricey side, well worth it as the quality was great! We had the beef and seafood soup as well as tried the mandu and seafood pancake. You can tell the soup has been cooking for a while and very flavourful. Mandu were super stuffed and so good. The service was also great, they were going around a few rounds topping up sides and drinks. Would recommend!
