Nice little German coffee house in the hamlet of Bragg Creek. The location has parking available in front of the building but there is a bigger parking lot at the strip mall which is 200m away.

The interior is cozy and almost gives you the feeling of being at "Central Perk" of the series Friends. You have a couch and seats where you can have your pastry, ice cream, or coffee/tea.

The young lady in the coffee house is super friendly and very helpful! She deserves the title of employee of the year! She makes the best decaf cappuccino!

This is our favorite place to be in Bragg Creek!

My wife and I stopped in on the Weekend after a nice long walk in the area as we were craving a coffee and a pastry and wanted to support a small local business. My wife ordered a Caramel Latte and I ordered Vanilla Cappuccino, as well as some sticky buns for now and Cinnamon buns for later.

The coffee's were just ok in flavor, but what really got me was the size of them.for $5.80 my Wife's latte was in a typical 'small' cup and my Cappuccino was in what most places would consider a 'mini'. The Pastries were good, and were about what you'd expect to pay for a coffee shop dessert.

I understand that times are tight, and that everything is expensive and that I should expect to pay more from a small local business but I just can't get over how small these coffee's were for the price we paid.

We will likely find some where else in Bragg creek for Coffee next time.

Best coffee/lunch spot in Bragg Creek. Great spot for remote working - not too loud and a nice view outside. Got tomato soup and the Mediterranean sandwich. Both were super tasty and reasonably priced.

So happy I came across this café! Neat ambience and couldn’t believe they had Spaghetti Icecream which I usually only find in Europe. It was delicious and I can’t wait to go back for more!

Great little hidden gem in Bragg! We stooped during a afternoon drive and we’re pleasantly welcomed, had a great Latte and a quick chat. Well worth the drive if your looking for an afternoon break!

We rented fat bikes from Moritz and had an incredible experience. He went above and beyond for us, was very knowledgeable with the trails at Bragg creek, and gave some great recommendations. His cafe next door had a unique charm and delicious drinks as well. We will definitely be back!

We booked our staff Christmas party here in early December. Beautiful private setup for 11-12 people. Moritz came up with some great menu options and served up delicious food that everyone enjoyed. I’d highly recommend Handle-Bar for small, intimate parties.

Fantastic little hideaway café, albeit a very popular spot. Staff are top-notch and they offer a great selection of quality refreshments and nibbles.

Dry food, dry noodles, as a second time visiting this place I was excited at the beginning, I tried the cake with fruits super dry. The noodles with cheese same thing.

Just wanted to give a huge shout out to Nicole and the Handle Bar for running a wonderful Intro to Biking session. I learned incredible amounts of information and I’m excited to practice my new skills. Nicole’s passion and knowledge helped me become a confident rider on the trails and we had a wonderful time! I highly recommend this team and I look forward to taking more lessons.

We had a team retreat in Bragg Creek, and went to The Handle-Bar for one of our team dinners. Great atmosphere, food, and drinks! Very accommodating too as we had someone in our group who was Halal, and 2 others who were pregnant. We will definitely be back (and for a guided adventure too!). Thank you!

Found this peach of a spot by mistake. We recently moved to Calgary and Bragg Creek has been on to do road trip list. We stopped at this cafe to stretch and see what they had to offer.
We ordered the homemade lemonade, iced americano coffees, apple strudel and carrot cake.
While we were there, someone ordered a lunch dish (can't remember the name) that looked and smelled wonderful. We really want to stay for a late but had to be back in the city. I was able to buy their pretzels and they didn't disappoint.
The reason for the 4 star and not 5 was the Americano coffees tasted like brown water. This won't deter us from going back which I really hope is soon!

Had the mocha coffee. They used Rosso coffee beans, was not good at all. Can not speak for the food but only the coffee mocha. Won’t be getting a coffee here. The vibe was very nice and staff was friendly, but not a 7$ coffee ahaha.

Thanks to Moritz for the great service while I was purchasing a bike (previous year rental) from the Handle-Bar. Took time to answer all of my questions and pulled the bike out from storage for me to try out. I won't hesitate buying or renting from them in the future.

If you are in Bragg Creek and you want to try an amazing European and German food you definitely should visit Handle Bar! Also customer service will blow your mind. Additionally, you can rent a bike and enjoy your day in K-Country!

Great spot for an Après-ski experience. Featuring traditional German and Swiss food. I had the soup, it was amazing. All homemade.

Stopped in the Handle-Bar cafe after an afternoon of cross-country skiing. What was supposed to be a coffee to go turned out to be an americano and apple strudel to stay. The coffee was great, the strudel was awesome, and the service was incredible. Looking forward to visiting again and renting some fat bikes!

Cute cafe and great bike rental place. We had a coffee before our bike ride and the cafe is very cozy and had delicious coffee and snacks. The bikes we rented were awesome and well priced, and everyone we dealt with was really friendly. Great spot! Will definitely be back!

Visit the bar after xski ride for some drinks and snack but we stay there for 5 hours with beers and wine. Absolutely great experience with very kind and knowledgeable staffs.
They also have best fondue and charcuterie board I've ever had.

Handle-Bar is more than just a bike rental shop. Not only do they have high quality mountain bikes and will deliver and pick up right at the Bragg Creek recreation area parking lot, they also have a lovely little cafe with hands down the best baking ever. Our group tried their apple-strudle, carrot cake and almond cookies. Don't be deceived by the ordinary look of the almond cookies-they are magic-after you bite into them they turn from a a crunchy biscuit to a deliciously chewy treat bursting with flavor. The carrot cake and apple strudel were equally as remarkable. I'm not even a fan of baking but this was extraordinary and well worth a stop after a fun day on the trail. Can't wait to try their lunch menu on our next visit.

I can’t begin to express just how amazing the level of customer service I received by the good folks at Handle-bar Bragg Creek. From the moment that I booked online until the moment that we were asked to enjoy their delicious hot apple strudel fresh out of the oven after a long day on the trail, I knew that I was in good and capable hands. This was my first time riding an E bike in the back country, and I’m very grateful for the advice and assistance that Handle-bar had to offer. I highly recommend them. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing experience! The staff were super knowledgeable and made sure you got the best bike for you before leaving the parking lot. We didn't feel like just a random customer, truly an inviting atmosphere! Plus the coffee was honestly the best we had during our time here in Calgary.

Second time renting a mountain bike from Handle-Bar for a day in Bragg Creek/ Moose Mountain. Fantastic service and genuine staff that makes for an awesome experience. Great selection of bikes and some of the best coffee around! Will rent again.

My friend and I had been looking for Full suspension E-bikes to rent since the start of the summer. We found The Handle-Bar and figured we'd take a chance.

We were NOT disappointed. Extremely friendly service, bikes were in fantastic shape. Battery life was actually insane - We road 70KM that day on the trails and still had 50% battery left. Highly recommend! You wont be disappointed.

Got out to the trailhead and realized my rear brake was not working. Didn’t have supplies along to repair so stopped in at Handle-Bar hoping they might be able to help. They were more than happy to give me a hand and get me back on my bike for the ride. Added brake fluid and bled the lines. *And wouldn’t take payment for their time! So grateful. Will be back for rentals and a cup of coffee for sure. Thanks so much! Highly recommend.

On a biking trip in the area, I noticed that my road bike cassette was loose and I didn't have the tool to fix it. I dropped into Handle-Bar and I explained my predicament. They quickly re-tightened it at no charge. I am impressed with their friendliness and great service. Patronize these guys!

As a business owner I know quality when I see it. The team at Handle-Bar has such a vision and passion. From offering quality rentals, to planning an amazing hangout with great coffee and snacks. It's hard to express the character and quality of the staff at Handle-Bar, but at the end of the day I know any customer will leave more then satisfied.

The customer service was inviting, the staff friendly and helpful. We booked a guided hiking tour and learned a lot about nature and experienced a lot. The view alone was just amazing! We will definitely come back and then do a mountain bike tour.
After the tour we had a long chat with Moritz, the owner. Super personable and competent! His plans for the cafe and restaurant sound great.

Our 6 year old spent last week at Handle Bar's kids hiking & biking camp and had a blast. The instructors, Moritz & Katie, were well prepared to take care of the kids, of varying ages, out on the trails every day and always kept us informed of the plans and recapped how the day went. We heard great stories of them learning about wilderness safety, animals, campfires, and some great adventures in the woods. Just what we were looking for! Highly recommend taking advantage of this great camp opportunity in Bragg Creek!

Rented the Specialized Stumpjumper today! Excellent service! Helped fit and ensure I had the proper size. Super convenient location just before heading out to West Bragg. Definitely recommend this place!

Can’t say enough good things about our experience. Called Handle Bar up to ask if they would do a quick derailer adjustment on my son’s Santa Cruz bike. They said sure just come by. It turned out to be a bigger job than we thought. At the end of it all the owner said no charge! He saved our day of biking! Never had that kind of service at 22X. Will be coming back.

Customer service was excellent, the prices for their Electric mountain bikes and full suspension mountain bike rentals are very reasonable. Great selection of high end mountain bikes.

I think this business is awesome, it provides high quality rentals at a low price. Delivery of gear in to the West Bragg parking lot if so requested, or pick up in store. This is combined with guided adventures for all ages, interests, and skill levels. The goal is to create a repeatable adventure.
