A great company to work with. Darren was on his way home when he got a call from the office asking if he could stop by and help me out. Living in an older condo it wasn't easy but Darren did amazing! My leaking faucet in the laundry room was fixed and now I can use my washing machine without fear of flooding. I highly recommend this company! 10/10 service for sure. Thanks Darren

He is knowledgeable about his work and respectful. We hired him twice and would call him again. This is a great service for seniors and their familes.

I'm very happy with the work Abraham provided to install a new hand rail in my mom's home. He ensured the railing is very strong and secure for my mom's safety. He also sealed around my mom's house to prevent mice from coming in during the winter months. He painted the seal and also went above what was asked by touching up the paint around the windows. The work was done with care and attention. This is the second time I have used Handyman Connection for work around my mom's house and both times I have been impressed with on-time service and quality work.

My husband and I want to thank Darren the plumber for coming out on several different occasions to install 3 new toilets, a new dishwasher and to replace a shower tap. I had a tenant move out of my condo and the unit required some wear and tear repairs throughout. One of those repairs was replacing some light bulbs. The contractor came out and all was well. He went to remove one of the ceiling light fixtures and didn't realize that a screw had to be removed and he ended up breaking the hook that secures the globe to the mounting bracket. Accident for sure and he took ownership of it. We both went to different hardware stores and he called me saying I found the same fixture for $30. That is what I saw as well. When I got the quote to do the repairs Handyman had charged me $80.00 for the fixture that their own contract admitted to breaking and they had increased the labour amount from what was discussed when the contractor was onsite to cover off their costs to replace it. I made numerous calls to Handyman to rectify the issue as I assumed it was just a mistake. I was still planning to use them for the repairs. Long story longer they never returned any of my calls. I would not recommend Handyman Connection in the future. Spend the extra 15 minutes and call the contractors directly.

Punctual, friendly, and professional with the two handymen who came through to serve my rental unit. Toilet was fixed and ceiling light fixture works again. Thanks. I would recommend services. Likely my go to team moving forward. Good communication and accountability that puts me at ease rather than add stress.

Had a so called 'handyman' to my house to provide a simple quote to replace one single 6x6 fence post. Estimate came back at over $1200! For reference, I recently had a professional build the same style fence and that same $1200 would have been enough to cover ~32ft of fencing including the installation of 4 posts. I have tried to reach out to the company as well as the owner directly for an explanation, in fairness it could have been an issue with that one associate. Both the company and it's owner have both ghosted me however so I guess they aren't interested in resolving the problem. Save yourself some time and try the next option.

This place was horrible to deal with and ended up having several issues with the repair and charging me twice what was quoted. Will never use them again.

Very disappointed with handyman. FYI for anyone new getting a quote they do a WCB 5% charge on top of GST at the end of the bill. They state they are upfront about this charge while others hide this in the quote. I personally believe they are making an excuse, and are making money at 5%. I managed to get this off with the sloppy work done, $20 off and still over the initial budget even with me supplying some materials (Paint). This a $534 single cabinet folks. Im sure the owner wouldn't be happy with putting their name on this. Yes, wedges did get dropped off after but for the price i paid, i do expect myself to not complete any work afterwards and for it to not be wedged. I thought i could save on labor as Tony stated this was only an estimate and we could probably be under budget, as he knew what handyman charged from me showing him. Not sure how many hours he charged for this but i'm not happy with the work done. If the wall wasn't straight to begin with a carpenter with 20+ years should account his build for this or fix it properly afterwards. Tony was a very friendly man, but i'm not 100% satisfied for the price i paid. I shouldn't have to wedge a $500 + cabinet.

Contacted this company to get some hardyboard on my 5 year old house reattached as it was coming away, very high up couldnt do it myself. Neighbours needed some siding reattached. Thought, hey, two similar jobs maybe well get some sort of discount right? They said they would. Quoted 300 for both jobs total.
I originally asked if height would be an issue, they said no. Guy arrives, heights an issue, needs to rent a ladder at my expense no big deal. Also originally asked if I needed to be home, they said no.
Guy ends up fixing the wrong side of the house. Has to come back and fix the proper side, does no issue cant fault the actual contractor.
Handyman connection charges me and my neighbour 350ish a piece. Contact them asking what happened. They said I authorized the work man had to fix both sides. A.) no I did not I authorized a ladder. Asked them why it cost double, they said he was here all day.
True he was but he fixed something I did not ask him to because the intake person at handyman connection didnt bother to fully understand the work.

TLDR; I was charged over double due to the poor practices of the company.

This was our second time using Handyman connections. Allan X was very quick to solve our dishwasher issue. He was very helpful and answered all of our questions. It was easy to book with Handyman Connections.

I hired Handyman Connection to come replace my back door. During renovations we found water damage where the door needed to be replaced a long with some of the sub floor. The door opening also needed to be made bigger. Csaba, the serviceman they sent out, was knowledgeable, hard working, understanding (he stayed late to ensure it was secured properly with a lock on it so we stayed safe overnight), and personable. When I called and talked to the office staff, the lady on the phone was very pleasant, polite, and helpful. Would highly recommend using them! Thanks again!

Great experience with Allan. He came by & gave me a quote, went & got parts, & completed job the next day. Kind, courteous & helpful. Will definitely use this company again.
