Honestly, I’ve had such a great time with Hardcore Bikes. It started with servicing my old bike - that truly was difficult to ride - but they worked with me on things that would help me gain confidence as a commuter before I was ready to invest in a new bike (like studded tires). When I was ready, they were so helpful in selecting a new bike, and patient while I looked around and checked prices elsewhere, ultimately choosing to purchase with Hardcore because they are so awesome with customer service. The bike we chose has met all of my needs, and they even ordered in a few specific items so I could get the aesthetic I wanted. (Not at all essential to the performance, but made it feel like a very personalized and custom experience.) Anytime I need a service - or to ask questions about what I can handle myself - they have been knowledge, quick, affordable and friendly. My only challenge is that they are a bit far away from where I live, but I never regret making the trip, and neither will you.

The shop has a great selection and provides helpful advice. The staff do their best to get you up and running quick when an unplanned mechanical emergency (aka JRA) happens. Don't be intimidated by the "hardcore" name - the staff are a bunch of loveable bike nerd softies

My son’s bike was unusable after the end of his bike camp, I brought his bike to the repair shop. They quickly assessed the issue and repaired it with no wait time. He was able to take his bike the next day to camp and not miss a day. Amazing service. Would highly recommend.

I ordered a new bike from Hardcore Bikes. When I came in to pick it up, the staff were very detailed and thorough in adjusting the bike to fit me better, explaining everything I needed to know about maintaining my new bike, and setting up my bike with a couple of useful accessories. As well, the inclusion of a free adjustment after 10-15 hours of riding, as well as a coupon for a minor tune-up were really helpful and generous. Overall amazing service, and I'd definitely recommend Hardcore Bikes to anyone looking to buy a new bike!

Hardcore carries greats brands of bikes. The staff are friendly and super helpful. The online product reservation system works very smoothly. They respond to email inquiries next business day. They also helped recover my stolen bike after we got on the trail of it 10 months after it was stolen!

10/10 interaction, I will never go to another shop now. Everyone was really friendly and was able to help me out on the spot. After another shop had been rude to me for having a vintage bike and quoted me 75% higher than what I paid here it was nice to go somewhere that just wanted to help me get my old girl back on the road.

Mark and the team at Hardcore bikes were incredibly helpful in helping my friend and I purchase our mountain bikes. After spending a day "touring" Edmonton's bike shops, we landed back at Hardcore. Great team and great service.

Really great local bike shop. The staff who work here really love bicycles. They are friendly people doing great things for the biking community. They fixed my chain and bled my brakes when I stopped in on a Saturday morning even though they were super busy. Kenneth (the mechanic) threw it up on the stand and started working on it without hesitation. I really appreciate it because I had a group ride within the hour. They offer yeti, trek, bmc, and a host of other top brands. Worth checking out if you are near Whyte ave area or are passionate about bikes.

Process was quick and efficient.store atmosphere was positive and price to rebuild the bike was reasonable. I didn’t get to take my bike on a ride yet but everything looks good on first inspection.
