Convenient self car wash with staff on site. Vacuums outside. Can get a little busy during weekends and when the snow is melting (lots of dirty cars!)

It was great and the line went by fast. Just wish they would let us know that they charge extra if you're using your credit card. We didn't have change with us so we used our card. Thought it was only $2, but after using it and realizing it didn't automatically stop we realized we were getting charged extra. Good thing we hit stop before it charged us more.

I love this place. It's a self service car wash. Very good for washing of the dirt during winter

Clean bays and easy access. Wasn't too busy when I went, so didn't feel rushed while washing my suv.

Love this place. Great facilities, decent price and big enough stalls you can keep a healthy distance between you car and the pressure tip

Be careful using your credit card at this car wash. They will charge you the full $20 pre-authorized amount even when you’ve used only $5. They’ll claim you never hit the stop button. Always check your credit card statement to make sure the charge is reversed and you’re only charged what you paid for.

Edit: While BOB responded to this comment, his response was also a lie. He did not offer any compensation and reiterated it was my fault and that I needed to hit the stop button harder next time. It's unfortunate he wasn't willing to honour anything leaving me no choice but to voice my concerns online.

Considering BOB manages this store, maybe he should learn from this poor customer service failure on his end.

I would like to give kudos to TOM HARPER who apologized on behalf of Bob, and was able to kindly take care of me as I had asked Bob to previously.

I have learned from the technical difficulties that if I visit this location again, I will bring change so as to not have any further concerns with how my card is charged.

Used preauthorized charge with my credit card like I have several times over at this location. Finished at the $11 mark, turned the machine off and hit stop. Saw the $20 charge didn't clear off my account, called and spoke to BOB, who took my information down and didn't call me back, "lost my number" when I called back today 2 weeks after the initial charge. Bob said he could see that I was in the bay for 12 mins and clearly didn't hit STOP hard enough. Quite baffling since I've never had an issue at this location to date and have enjoyed the location prior to this machine error.

Bob made ZERO effort to rectify this error from their system.so I paid for the average cost of 2 car washes and only received one. Unfortunately I wasn't even offered a free wash at my next visit. It's sad to see that customer service is out the window now.

Staff was an a$$hole. I was doing a detailed wash which consist of using a foam wash and one of the employees told me to leave, because apparently you can’t wash your car using a microfibre wash mitt. The staff wanted me to use the brush which can damage the paint. I don’t recommend going to this car wash!

On our visit staff was amazing and friendly. Very clean stalls and equipment in very good shape. Great place to clean the vehicle.

It’s pretty good. Sometimes their vacuum machines don’t work well.

Edit: I should have been more clear. I tried the vacuum today and it worked well. Last couple times (same exact spot), the vacuum didn’t work well. Thanks for fixing them!

Line cam be long at times, other than that, i like coming here. Water Pressure is good (unlike the other nearby carwash).

Car was dirty now it is clean. Nice having the sloped floor in the washbay, made it easier to wash the roof of the car.

Good neighbourhood car wash. Usually very clean and not too busy at non peak times. Have been using this location for 15+ years w/o any problems.

I initially had an issue and left a review. The management responded immediately to explain how to resolve it. I would highly recommend this business! Have already returned and will continue to come here!

Do you know what is great about this place? The water is hot therefore it makes washing your vehicle so much easier. The bay's are always clean and typically all the settings on the dial work.

The only thing that this car wash to change or fix is their false advertisement of store hours. It says it opens at 5am to 10pm.
I’ve been sitting here for 20min now and carwash still closed.

One of the better car wash in se Calgary. Not usually a long line. The bays are always clean and hoses are always washed down so your not getting grease all over you and your car. They offer a huge variety of products and also gift cards. Great car wash.

First time at this Carwash and I was blown away by the quality and clean bays. The gentlemen at the front desk was kind and extremely helpful. Will be coming back!

The pressure out of the handheld wands is the best in the city. Harper's is well-lit and the wash bays are a good size.

This is my go to coin car wash. They have free vacuuming on Fridays. No automatic car wash if that is what you want but they accept coins and credit cards for self washing.

This wand wash is my go to spot. There's 6 bays and the staff is good about keeping them clean and the equipment in good shape.

Water is hot and great pressure so car drys well. Brushes are normally clean but I always give it a quick spray to knock any loose dirt off of them. It'll never do as good as a bucket wash but considering I'm paying for convenience and speed it beats the alternative of having a dirty car.

Some days there is a line up, but that's common for hot busy summer days. Price wise it's on par with automated car washes in the area but those don't do near as good of a job.

No soap, no service, no refund. Soap seems to be an issue at this location. Advised attendant that there was very low soap coming from the spray. Almost to the point that it just looked like straight up water. Dial was set to Soap. Attendant says that there is lots of soap even after he sprayed for 30 seconds and next to none came out. After I said I would just go to another car wash he ran his mouth off. Attendant seemed more interested in getting back to his phone than dealing with an issue with their equipment not dispensing soap.

First time there, the guy at the front desk was nice and helpful. Stall was clean and equipment functioned very well.

This is a great car wash. Always clean, fast getting in and out, lots of room for drying and detailing. Reasonably priced as well, takes credit cards.

No hot water. No sign saying they didn’t have hot water. Asked for my money back due to the lack of hot water. They offered to give me half my money back (2 dollars) in a credit. Brutal.

Always fast and easy to use, the only downside is no dryers so you have to wipe down after but thats no biggy

Really great place to go if you need a low budget but still quality car wash. Coin wash, you control the settings and the use. My family always goes here for our car washing and detailing needs.

It's great car wash that's open early and closes late so you can avoid the line up. Never had any issues with the wash or the vacuum. It's $1/minute and to start so you can time your wash easily.

Found this place a bit more expensive than other coin washes but amazing facilities.

This is my go to car wash in the city. It is a great car wash, line always moves fast, and there are a lot of options available.

Small. Cramped. Expensive and the dividers are too small so the other customers spray your vehicle. I was constantly getting sprayed by the people in the bay beside me. The foam brush didn't seem to work at first so I tried to find help but it seems that it's not staffed because I couldn't find anyone to help. When I came back I was able to get the hose untwisted at the top after a bit of finagling but of course by then my time was up so I pumped in more money. The owner comments on their waxes being high quality but I wouldn't know because I didn't get that far. I only had $20 in change along and thought that would be enough. I've tried this place 4 or 5 times over the years and definitely stick with my recommendation that it's worth the drive to another car wash.

The weekends can get pretty busy, but this is a great coin car wash with a lot of options available.

Angry little ginger running the car wash yelled at me for coming in a couple minutes before close. Had no idea what time the place closed and the door was wide open but still got yelled at regardless asking me if I had a clock in my car. Relax man, Jesus. Car wash life must be stressful.

Really. Only accepts loonies for the vacuum outside and the machine wouldn’t accept my cards inside the wash bay dont know why.no one on site to help but its fine. Ended up putting two dollars in for the vacuum inside the wash bay.literally lasted a minute and had zero suction. Wont be back. Go to the Chapparal car wash, I put two dollars in and it lasted 2 mins and 30 seconds and has the best power and vacuume hose nozzle to actually fit in the areas that are hard to reach.only good thing is it wasnt that busy.

I like the actual facility, but the woman working their is a real piece of work. She never took her ear buds out once when I was asking for assistance. When I asked her if she worked here she said, "clearly i do as you can see. " Seriously! Who says that and why is she still working? This normally is my go to car wash.but I will probably not return.

I just finished washing my vehicle and vacuuming it and grabbed some clothes to wipe off my floor mats before putting them back in and had a lady come over to me telling me to wipe my vehicle down outside. I told her I was only wiping down my mats. She claimed that it was her "business" and walked away. I liked the place before and had been going there mostly every weekend since 2012. I'm so glad that bubbles will be opening on 52nd and cant wait to tell all my friends and family to never go to harpers.

Maybe you should go check your cameras so you actually know what your talking about. If your so worried about customers waiting maybe the owner should wait to wash their vehicle when it's not so busy and maybe you should be washing your vehicle, not watching what other people are doing if your so worried about waiting customers. But your whole response just goes to show how classless you and your so called business is.

I was at Harpers the other day washing my truck and I noticed the pressure of the water wasn't as good as maybe it should be. I approached the lady working and she immediately ushered me into another bay and payed for the rest of my car wash. She closed off the bay I was in and started trouble shooting the problem. I appreciate the customer service that I was given as its hard to find good customer service these days! Harpers will now be my go to car wash.

One of the workers there is one of the rudest women I've ever met. It's clear that the customer service isn't what brings people back.

I'd like to modify my previous review, my previous concern was essentially about the AT machines in the car wash that showed 5 $ my final bill at the end of washing my car and I found that 9.99 $ were taken from my credit card, in reality this was just a pre-authorization, few days later, only 5 $ were billed on my credit card. My apologies to this car wash administrator for my previous review. I am here to rectify it.

I did mention in my previous review that I had my car washed with soap, rinsed then waxed for just 5 bucks. I am sure that I'll come back soon to rewash my car.

I drive a bigger vehicle. I was quite impressed with this car wash. You pay the better price than other car washes but if you have a bigger vehicle like a truck, they have an option for that. It gives you one extra cycle tor same price as other car washes. Cause lets face it not all cars are the same. Definitely someone was thinking about this. Cheers to whoever that was.

I come here all the time, sometimes the line is long but that's expected.one question i have is i normally get the gift card $50 ($59 value). I was told $1 gets you 1 min and 5 sec.but i started to pay attention to the time and i would get charged $3 after i hit the "stop" button after 2 min 4 sec.shouldn't it be $2? Hey a loonie is a loonie.it adds up over time.

Clean, less wait times, you get a fair value for your money compared to other coin car wash.
