Let me tell you a story. We (my SO and I) went to Harry Rosen in Chinook mall on January 21,2023 expecting a level of customer service reflective of the Harry Rosen reputation. My expectations have not been met.

First impressions upon entering, immediately stared down by the associate at the counter but not greeted or otherwise acknowledged. We walked directly towards the suits and started looking at different options, colours, etc but still no assistance from anyone even though multiple HR staff were standing around with nothing to do except show each other their phones.

After finding some styles I liked, we looked for assistance (again) but were still met with disdainful looks or completely ignored. I guess maybe instead of dressing comfortably for the weekend (also my SO has bright purple hair), we should have arrived like we were ready for some black tie affair. Understand I was ready to book a fitting and buy on the spot.

It's all good Harry Rosen, my money is clearly not welcome in your store. I'll shop elsewhere.

Melissa was absolutely amazing at finding great sizes, styles, and layers to make several versatile looks during our visit at Chinook HR. She took the time and effort to find the styles that worked best despite it being such a busy time at the holidays. Thanks Melissa, you're the best!

Recently went to checkout some Boxing Day deals and was warmly greeted by Brad. Brad remembered me from a suit I had bought off him a year ago! Brad is an authority on fashion and genuinely cares about making you look your best. For example, he picks out outfits that compliment who you are and not just trying to sell you on the hottest trend. Brad should be viewed as more of a consultant than salesman as his knowledge and professionalism is what gets the job done. I pretty much only go to this store because of him.

I have been shopping at Harry Rosen for a while now and my recent experience with the sales associate Maurice absolutely blew me away.

I went in on Wednesday after finding out a suit I had ordered from another company was delayed and would not arrive in time for my company Christmas party. Going in I expected that I was more going to be piecing things together to find an outfit that would cut it because it was clearly too late for me to have a suite tailored, or so I thought.

Maurice took it to the next level and was able to source a complete new suite, shirt, tie, shoe combo. Had it fully tailored and delivered it to my office with 3 hours to spare before the party! What I expect to take a week or 2 he was able to get done in 2 days with a shotgun delivery! Absolute legend!

Annie is exceptional at what she does! I strongly recommend using her services if you want compliments. ;)

I came here a few weeks ago to look for some items, but did not end up purchasing anything. I do have to say the store security Ammon provided me with an exceptional welcome into the store:)

Brad is absolutely amazing to deal with. I was looking for a shirt for a wedding and was not having any luck. Spoke to Brad and he found me a great fitting shirt, and even had minor alterations to make it perfect done in time before I left the country for the wedding. To anyone that may be hesitant because of price; don’t give it a second thought. Their quality is top notch, their service friendly and helpful, and they deliver on their estimated date for alterations (which were included with the purchase)

Probably one of the worst designer mens stores I've been to anywhere in the world. If you're dressed in unbranded clothing they don't even say hi to you. Come wearing a Gucci jacket and they're all over you like a cheap suit. Been to this store a few times and only ever left with socks because why would we let somebody earn commission off us because we have no choice but to buy from them? You can buy everything they sell online and have a wider selection. Free returns online too from most designer outlets. Why leave your house to come here to receive the same customer service a brick wall gives you? If you need custom suits go to downtown Harry Rosen. Their associates are not as bad, and once you find one that suits your personality you'll probably get along great. These ones at Chinook think we need them when in fact retail is dying because of people like them. You would never get this service in Vegas, New York, London, Milan.not sure why here they think they're above everyone that's dressed not to impress. If you wanna work in what's branded as a high end store then you probably want to leave your low level street manners at the door. You might make more money. 0/5 would not recommend.

As someone who enjoys suit shopping, this Harry Rosen has become my all time favorite place to go to. Time and time again, staff have been very professional, friendly and helpful.
I am leaving these 5 stars for Brad, who has provided me with some of the BEST customer service I have ever experienced. Great fashion advice and expertise. I look forward to showing off my new suit.

We had the pleasure of shopping with Brad today for my fiances wedding suit. Brad helped us find the perfect colour for him, the perfect fit, and had a basket full of tips and advice.

Fist time I felt I was fit properly. Ask for Cemil; (Jameal) he knows what he is doing. I will be back.

Maurice is the one of best sales person I have met, in any industry. He knows my style, and checks in with me without fail to make sure I am always fresh. And when there have been issues with clothing, he initiated a no hassle exchange for me. I am talking about pants ripping after a few wears. No questions asked, exchanged for a better pair.

To appreciate Maurice and Harry Rosen more:
I went to Louis Vuitton and spent $10,000.00 this fall, and when the shoes finally came in, they didn't fit properly. I was out of town and didn't get a chance to bring them back for a couple months. Was told no exchange, not even a discount on a pair of insoles to help them fit better (on BRAND NEW SHOES!)

I had an exceptional experience working with Jeffrey Lin to get outfitted for my wedding this fall. Here are a few things that stood out for me about Jeffrey:

1. As someone who does not often wear a suit, I found Jeffrey's knowledge and experience invaluable. He took my general ideas about what I wanted and quickly synthesized them into a coherent picture. In several instances, he suggested changes to my original vision - while I was skeptical at first, once I tried things on it always turned out that Jeffrey was right. No guesswork required and so much more efficient than if I was on my own! I appreciated Jeffrey's style throughout the process: although always personable, he is also honest and direct. He wants to make sure you look your best, even if it means suggesting alternatives to your ideas. And all done without a hint of condescension, 100% about education.

2. Over the course of several appointments, Jeffrey was always well prepared when I arrived. Building on the previous visit, he would have items laid out in advance to start on the next step in the process. This personalized service really made me feel valued as a customer, and once again made things more efficient.

3. Even after everything had been purchased, Jeffrey continued to provide outstanding service. 3 days before the wedding, I noticed something that was not quite perfect (my fault). I texted Jeffrey and he got me in to the store right away. True to form, when I arrived he had already identified potential solutions and he quickly had the issue resolved. This incident underscored Jeffrey's genuine commitment to making my wedding day as perfect as possible.

In summary, I highly recommend Jeffrey's services. I look forward to working with him again in the future. Thanks Jeffrey!

Our host Jamie today was excellent, not only was he helpful in advice and fashion, his vision and service was the best I have experienced in Calgary. Thank you very much. As for value, if your going to spend the money for quality, and the price is the same from other stores, Harry Rosen's tailoring and life time maintenance is value added.

Amazing customer service. I bought a suit online from harry rosen website and went there for alterations. Maurice helped me with fitting of the suit. Very please with the service provided by him. Best place for men's clothing. I also love their dress shirts collection.

Great service layered on top of great selection. I had the good fortune of working with Jeffrey. Highly recommend him. He is absolutely superb. He caught on quickly as to what I might like, my preferred style, what would suit me best, even pointing me in directions I had not considered and then suggested really fitting (pun intended) pieces. He was extremely patient and meticulous, never felt pressured to buy or fit into something that didn't quite fancy me. He even took the time to show me around the store to give me other ideas/combos for future reference. On another visit to pick up an article that had been tailored he had pro-actively laid out two combinations of clothing articles to follow up on our last discussion (two weeks before) and to give me even a broader appreciation of what can be done with the pieces I had recently purchased (and once again with no pressure to buy, just educate). My overall experience has been fantastic as it went beyond the usual sales pitch and gratuitous compliments just to crack off a sale as one is accustomed to at mainstream stores. At Harry Rosen it is really about a professional clothing advisor working with you the individual to find the best outcome for your individual needs and preferences.

I came in last night about a half hour before closing. Jeff helped me as soon as I walked in. Got me fitted and the shirt tailed the next morning before we had to leave town. Absolute professional. I rarity in retail stores. I highly recommend this store. But ask for Jeff. He is my guy.

The best men's clothing store in town. They sell a great mix of classic and modern styles. I have been seeing Barry for years now. He's extremely knowledgeable, friendly, professional and is excellent at assessing personal taste. I have also had great experiences with Jeanette and Sylvester.

Harry Rosen is one of the best men's stores, the store is nicely laid out and staff are very helpful and attentive as well as easy to talk to with out feeling pushy. Great brand names with intriguing details. Great sales can also be found and get a great quality garment for good prices.

The service, expertise, and care at this particular Harry Rosen in Chinook is second to none, and is rare for retail today. Highly recommend it.

Had an amazing experience getting a suit for my wedding. Maurice saw me wondering with no direction and jumped in to help right away. The personal touch the staff had definitely made the difference. He helped me find a suit that fit my needs and price range, and was even patient on dealing with overbearing family opinions. Walked out with a great suit, that they altered for free, and even gave us a shoetree as a gift. Would highly recommend, high quality clothes, and relative to other comparable stores, the price is very competitive.

Didn't buy for me, but we just bought for my soon to be husband and had a great experience picking out a suit with one of the staff members there (Maurice). He was extremely patient and knowledgeable. It is pricey, so keep that in mind when shopping, but they really have a large selection of products and staff that is ready to help.

Rob Livermore is one of the best Managers you will ever come into contact with. I came in to purchase a sweater prior to leaving town for the holidays, and Rob treated us with utmost respect and a pleasant welcoming. I highly recommend that someone within this company give this man some sort of incentive for his hard work and kindness.
