The apartment looks really bad on the inside and there's only male renters that barely pay their rent. (Stay away if you're a female!)

The rent is high for a low maintenance apartment.

Renting with Mainstreet Equity Corp was the worst experience of my adult life. If I could choose 0 stars that is what I'd be giving. I was forced to live with cockroaches for 9 months. Causing us PTSD. Not sure if anyone has experienced constantly finding them crawling all over your stuff, walls counters. Always hiding, giving us fabulous scares. I fought to be fumigated, was told they wouldn't inspect the rest of the apartment building cause of no other complaints. They gave me every excuse in the book on why I was still living with them. Was fumigated 4 times by "their maintenance ppl" and was "cleared" each time. When requested to see the reports or the company they used was told NO.that they are internal use only. Just to finally afford to move and take them with us into our new home. When I confronted them and requested for them to fumigate my new home was told "not in their jurisdiction" and making our new landlords fumigate. Renters be aware.absolutely the worst rental company to use. Cheap rent is not worth. Runnnnnnn

I moved into a Mainstreet Equity Corp Property. My case manager, a Mr. Hassan Abdul Hussain, is very professional and very rapid and clear with communication, as well as highly accommodating through the process of applying. Any problems that I noticed since move in, can be seen being worked on within the day. I am content with my decision to lease through Mainstreet Equity Corp.

I lived at Elizabeth Manor for a year. I had a great experience with the building manager Greeshma. Whenever I have any issues, she is always very responsive and everything is taken care of promptly. The one bedroom is spacious and thumbs up for covered parking.

I lived here almost 1 and half year. My neighbour is always drunk and shouting every-night. I can’t sleep all night since I lived in this apartment. I complain about him many times to the manager and on call main street non emergency number. But still my situation is same and I feel unsafe here. I don’t know how to move from here.

Apartments buildings are dirty, the laundry machines almost never work. To top it off, during a pandemic situation, where they mostly rent to low- income people/ families, they refuse to do anything to help. I'm already low income, now I'll probably be homeless because they literally do not care about their tenants. They only care about making money. They rent in at least 4 cities in alberta. Not a small company. But a greedy one. Once I'm gone, I'll do my best to never rent from then again.

I applied with Mainstreet, but ended up finding a different place. Then I was having terrible experiences at that place. I called Udeybir W.he empathized with me, saying "no problem, we'll always be there for you" & graciously took me in as soon as he could (when he didn't have to). I am so grateful to him! He is a very kind Resident Manager, listens to your concerns & takes care of things ASAP. I am now living stress-free thanks to him! I recommend Udeybir to anyone looking to rent with Mainstreet, he's A-mazing:) :)

In October 2019 my mainstreet apartment (Eileen Manor) flooded with sewage while I was away on vacation. I came back to black sludge all over my apartment, and the flooring was ruined among some of my personal things. It was awful. I battled with my landlord (building manager) for weeks and weeks. I actually had to stay in a hotel because I was getting sick from the mold and sewage. My building manager was no help, and everyone that I talked to refused to help me. This went on for 4 months. I moved out because it was uninhabitable but they refused to show me any termination of my lease and never got back to me. I called every day and nobody would get back to me. I found out in April that I "owed" $600 and they were going to send it to collections one day. If i didn't call them and pester them I would have never of known this.

However, I then got hold of the main office and talked with a lady named Susan. I told her my situation from the beginning to end, and finally someone actually listened. Before doing anything she said "that's terrible, and that shouldn't happen to anyone, lets see what we can do". Within an hour she told me that I will no longer be owing anything, and I will be receiving my damage deposit in the mail within a few weeks. It was such a breath of relief to finally speak with someone understandable and professional at main street.

Overall, my experience at main street was awful. BUT, Susan specifically helped me get out of a serious hole I was in and for that, SHOUTOUT TO SUSAN. She is awesome

If you're considering moving into the Oliver square area of Edmonton, and are thinking about going with MAINSTREET EQUITY, do yourself a favor and ask for Michelle Williams. She was by far one of the sweetest, kindest, helpful professionals I've ever had the pleasure of meeting with. She gives you all the information you need and guides you comfortably into your new home feeling taken care of helped. She fought for me and I can't sing her praises more loudly. Go to the mainstreet office (10538 115th street) and ask for Michelle Williams, Leasing Agent 6, and you'll be very thankful you did. If there were more professionals like her this world would move much faster.

I am currently a tenant with Mainstreet since August 2019. I loved my apartment but just not happy with the area. When I first moved in there, there was some deficiencies I was not happy with but the building manager at the time spoke to the regional manager and the addressed all my concerns and I was a very happy tenant. (New Mirror closet doors in bedroom and hallway, new accordion doors on linen closet, beautiful living room curtains, and new bedroom blind, and a new stove) I was so happy, this unit is beautiful. After a length of time of not feeling good about the area being single, I contacted Mainstreet about transferring me to another area in one of their buildings. Olga Melnyk showed me one place but she knew it would not be large enough for my needs and i told her my issues with my current place and she went from there. She called me a couple days later asking if I was still looking and said she had the ideal place for me. I met her at the address and she was right, it was the perfect place. This lady is very kind and understanding and knows how to work with clients. She always answers my questions quickly. She has a beautiful disposition and shows she loves her job and is very serious about helping people to find their new home. I highly recommend Olga to help anyone to find an apartment with Mainstreet and will be recommending her and Mainstreet to any friends or acquaintances in the future looking for a place to live.

I was supposed to move into a property of theirs in Edmonton, but upon move in day the apartment was entirely unsafe! Mould, destroyed walls, outlets out of the walls, and yet it was 'move in ready'. They were told they had to return my DD and first months rent, its been a month and I haven't received it and they won't return my calls either.

They're a horrible company and I would advise against anyone renting with them.

Everything went really smoothly moving to Edmonton. Dubravka represented Mainstreet greatly with her integrity and hard work. I ended up moving in on a weekend and she completed everything as quickly as I desired.

The place is clean, friendly and has all commodities within walking distance. So I am set!

Mainstreet was a good choice for me.
