Hauck Vision and Hearing

The front desk ladies were awful and then wanted to charge me $40 to get my glasses adjusted. No other eye place has ever charged. Completely absurd. Never going back here

Wow, I will never use this place again, been waiting over a month for glasses. Went to pick them up as they called and told me they were ready and they wanted to do another eye exam which isn't needed as I had one when I first went in. So left with no glasses and very frustrated. Not impressed with the staff at all.

Their optometrist are exceptional, but their contact lenses service is ridiculous. They charge $60 for the free trial with the before assessment and after assessment of wearing contact lenses. They only assessed how the contacts were “sitting” on my eyes, after wearing the contacts for 10 days.
Costco does not charge any fee and does a more proper assessment as they said that my left eye need a higher prescription. They also quoted me $100 more for a 3 month supply. Buy a costco membership instead, you’ll save a lot more.

I was a previous client of Hakim and was very sad when they closed. I am so thankful to have found Hauck Vision as the previous employees are there! The whole office is caring, kind & friendly and I had an amazing experience there. I will continue to use them for all my future vision needs.

My elderly mother and I recently came in and she had an eye exam and a hearing test. Rita the hearing practitioner was very informative and patient throughout the appointment. The doctors and staff provided excellent service, taking the time to care for her needs. We would definitely recommend this business.

I went to Hauck Vision and was assisted by Vanessa. I explained how previous eye glasses that I had received from other eye glass suppliers seemed to be addressing some of my vision issues, but seemed to be missing the mark on my vision needs at night. I found out through Vanessa’s assessment that I didn’t have the prescription I needed for my needs. I received the right prescription from Vanessa, and found a great pair of frames to match. I have now switched my future eye glass needs to Hauck. Thanks Vanessa for your caring assistance.

My family and I recently visited Hauck for eye exams and glasses. The service was exceptional especially from Vanessa! Our family were treated professionally and given all the time we needed! Vanessa went above and beyond to help choose our perfect glasses! We will definitely be going back for any future needs! 5 stars all the way!

Great business. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Vanessa was our assistant and her knowledge and skill were second to none. Very friendly and helpful, courteous and professional. We would recommend both the optician and company to everyone.

I have been going to Hauck for just around 30 years. My children and my granddaughters go as well. Lately the service there has so gone downhill. Just took my granddaughters Prada glasses in to be repaired (which with lenses and frame cost just below 600$ out of my pocket and where purchased July 2022) they did there best to fix them however not up to the standards that I would expect from a pair of expensive frames. What I mean by this is that the arms are still crooked which means that my granddaughter is not seeing correctly out of her glasses. I am not impressed at all and apparently warranty is only if they are broken. I will continue to use the the optometrist because they are exceptional. However I will never buy another pair of glasses for myself or my granddaughter ever again from Hauck. No way of responding to the so called owner response. I was not asked if I was happy when we left. The young lady spoke to the manager however the.manger would not speak to me about the issue which was the main reason I wrote this review. As far as the response saying from owner I believe these responses are just generic.

I took my daughters here to get their eye exams done. When I asked for their prescription for their exams they charged me $80 for the two. They already made almost $200 on the exams themselves but I can’t get the results unless I pay $80?
Not only is this cheap but I would say not ethical either!
I went to Costco on the weekend and they do not charge for this and Walmart does not charge for this either. Turns out Hauck is the only one I could find that actually charges for this. They charged me $80 because they thought I may get glasses elsewhere. This practice is totally wrong. Will never get my family’s business again and anyone that goes there should reconsider giving your business to Hauck!

I had a vision emergency. I had broke a hard contract lense and needed an immediate appointment to get an exam for glasses. They were able to get me in for the next day. I was very overdue for an exam and Dr. Liamzon was amazing. She did not rush me, talked to me about all issues and made me feel quite relaxed. The prompt service from their lab (many phone calls) resulted in getting me a pair of prescription glasses the next day. Many thanks to Patrick, who came assist in my fitting. I would highly recommend this company for any vision needs.

If you want to be treated like a dollar sign then you found the right place. Rude unprofessional staff. We were looking to purchase 4 pairs of glasses but I was treated like less of a person then boyfriend because of insurance so we left. Unless Vanessa or James comes back don't go there. And the reply from the owners is about money How do they know I don't have 500,000 in my bank from an inheritence they assumed because of my disability insurance I couldn't afford their glasses. Discrimination.

Broke the nose piece off my glasses on the weekend, and these guys fixed it right up for $5! I was expecting more since I didn’t purchase my frames there.
The gentleman was so nice!

The receptionist I spoke with should NOT be in customer service. Luckily, the rest of the employees were knowledgeable and highly motivated to get my issue solved. No one should be subjected to the rudeness I experienced from this individual. Wait times are long on prescription safety glasses. It's been over a month and still waiting. The office was nice, clean and well maintained.

This place goes above and beyond to help.

Absolutely love Dr. Liamzon! She's the only Dr. We'll see! She has such a great personality and genuine concern for her patients! Shout out to Vanessa and James for Always being welcoming and knowing what I need even though I'm so indecisive! Side note.sure do miss having Leigha doing my pretesting! Love the new location guys!

After wearing new glasses for a couple months they just didn't sit right or feel right. When I called store they said come in. Not only did they order new frames they went the extra mile to make sure I was happy at no extra charge

Dr. Qishawi was great, I was curious and had a bunch of (unnecessary) eye health questions and he took extra time to inform me on every question I had.

Patrick Reed did a great job! New lenses on warranty, I thought I would need to get new glasses. Great customer service

I have been a client at this business for many years, (for the optical side of the business). I have always had good service; on occasion, I may have had to wait for that service, as there were others ahead of me, but at my turn, I was given the same due care and diligence. When I ordered my last set of lenses I noted that the lenses I preferred (Nikon) tended to scratch easily and loose their coating. The optician suggested a newer type to me that tend to keep their coating and I wouldn't need to "baby" the lenses. (ie only use the cleaning cloth to clean the lenses- (because sometimes you are away from that cloth and your lenses are in need of attention) but that I could use a towel or tissue as well without advere affects to the lenses.) I was very hesitant about switching lens types, but she gave me a 60 day trial period where I could switch to the Nikon if I truly preferred them, at only the cost of the difference in price of the lenses. Happily I can say that I adjusted to the new lens type and am 100 % happy with them. They have truly lived up to what the optician said they would be like and I would definitely order them in the future.
I have also found that it didn't matter which staff were working, they are all well trained and diligent to take care of the clients needs and wants.

I had some minor concerns about my sight a few years ago. I went to a highly recommend sports optometrist in Sherwood Park. After waiting almost 2 hours and explaining my concerns I was given the all clear and sent on my way. My concerns didn't worsen but something was still off. This time my appointment was at Hauck Vision.and this time I had three young children with me. I was a few minutes early and didn't wait even one minute. The Dr.listened to my minor concerns and she didn't think they were something to worry about. As my exam went on she took some time to push things a little further saying that because of my concerns and what she was seeing, although slight, she wanted to take a little more time to investigate my sight.
She found that one of my eyes are nearsighted and one is farsighted.
She even took some time to look at my babies development even though I hadn't booked her in.
5 stars and no more migraines!

Best eye clinic I've ever been to! This clinic is near where I work so when I woke with extreme eye pain I called them and they said come right in. The staff were so kind and professional (one lady even gave me dark glasses to borrow while I was in the office) and the doctors I've seen so far (Ziad & Ryan) are very knowledgeable about eye disease and the causes and treatments, explaining the causes and effects clearly. I will be going here for my eye exams in the future and switching from the other mall. My family will be switching to Hauck as well for their vision needs.

Optometrists are fantastic and really explain to you what is going on with your eyes, going as far as showing you your 3D char result/scan and showing where the damage is. I felt very informed and understood my eye condition better after leaving.

That being said, some of the receptionists are very unprofessional and rude. Particularly the older women who seem like they're irritated being asked to simply do their job. I mean, asking for your prescription because you don't remember it isn't an uncommon request.but the one woman made it seem like it was an annoyance for her. She spoke to both my fiance and I like we were a nuisance and was extremely cutting with her tone. No smile, no "Have a nice day" (we even said it as we left!) ; I work in customer service.this is basic stuff. When we asked about getting contact lenses she looked at us like we had three heads and said we'd have to come and meet a specialist and then said in the most stern, somewhat sassy, tone "And he's gone for 2 weeks".

Not impressed and we'll just be ordering our contact lenses online instead.
