Hawkstone Physical Therapy

There are not enough words to accurately describe my love for Hawkstone Physical Therapy. They have been my second home for the last 9 months as I have recovered from a traumatic car accident. The staff are AMAZING! Every single one of them from office, assistants, therapists - they go above and beyond every single time I have come in. They know me by a first name basis, I never once had to repeat my name. They are all very hard working, kind and compassionate. A special shoutout to Mo who was my primary therapist. He understands, validates your feelings and treats you as a friend instead of a patient. He is knowledgeable - there isn't a question he cant answer! Thank you Hawkstone Physical Therapy for being a soft spot to land for one of the hardest years of my life. Your empathy and compassion does not go unnoticed. I will miss seeing everyone's faces every week.

Warm and welcoming; working out was fun. Cathy and all the other physiotherapists and helpers worked hard to make sure the pain levels were kept as low as possible. I'm very happy that I chose Hawkstone Physiotherapy and grateful for all their help in recovering from my hip replacement surgery.

My time here was honestly phenomenal. I felt I was super well taken care of both pre and post surgery and the therapists were always very supportive and professional. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough!

I thoroughly enjoy my sessions at Hawkstone Physiotherapy I am seeing Kathy and she is amazing. I am probably one of the more extreme cases she has seen and her wisdom, guidance and warmth is greatly appreciated.

Hawkstone physical therapy is excellent. The facility is really nice. It's clean, modern, and a esthetically pleasing. The staff is friendly and courteous and polite. There is a great atmosphere there.

My family doctor recommended Roman to me and she was so right. Roman is very smart, experienced, skilled, and very easy to speak to.

Overall this is the place to be, I can't see how anywhere else could be better.

I have been coming to Hawkstone for years. The staff are all super friendly and do everything they can to help you recover from an injury. I have gone to other physio clinics at times for different reasons and keep coming back to Hawkstone because of the overall experience and knowledge their staff have.

All the staff is amazing thank you everyone! Thanks to my physiotherapist Fraser! He got me back to normal, when I first arrived I didn’t think it was possible at first, but kept going for my appointments an everything is good still working on mobility on my own. After an MVA it was suggested I add Physical Therapy to my recovery. There are many choices in Edmonton, but I decided on Hawkstone due to the solid reviews and convenient location - and I'm glad I did. I've been working with Fraser Rebnord and I must say he has a positive attitude, and his entire team does as well. I looked at going to Physical Therapy as an inconvenience, but I have to admit I actually enjoy my visits to Hawkstone and appreciate the extreme efforts they go to during the pandemic to keep everybody safe. If Hawkstone is a bit out of your way, I suggest you still consider traveling the extra distance to visit this fantastic clinic.

I have been a long time client at Hawkstone Physiotherapy. Over the years I probably have been treated by all Physiotherapists, Physio Assists and even the office manager. It's excellent teamwork.
They are all very knowledgable, skilled, respectful, caring and compassionate providing quality care. I am so grateful to be able to continue treatments virtually. It has been a very positive experience.

I have been going to Hawkestone Physiotherapy for about 2-3 years for a few different reasons - neck, back, and ankle. During the Covid-19, physio was done online through the Zoom App. Cindy was easy to understand, thorough and the notes were clear. They exceeded my expectations when they dropped off 2 ice packs, like they said they would, but not only that, also a water bottle (stainless steel), 2 bands, Epsom salts and a very nice card thanking me for participating in the virtual experience. We are in this together!

Staff are friendly, equipment is ready and clean. See Andrew, Roman or any other therapist for all your aches and pains as good as any place in Edmonton.

Very happy with my treatment by Roman at Hawkstone. He was very meticulous and really listened to my concerns. The staff is very friendly and the facilities are modern and clean. I feel like the staff truly me to heal.

I am a living, breathing, accident waiting to happen. I’ve probably had 6? Or 8 WCB injuries treated by Hawkstone. It’s amounted to over 40 weeks of rehab and over 120 appointments since July 2012.

As for non work injuries, hmm a dozen?
I have literally seen every single physical therapist that works there and gotten to know the exercise therapists/physiologist/kinesiologists on staff too. They are all really personable and knowledgeable.
They have a good selection of equipment to challenge as you progress through rehab. Do the prescribed exercises and you’ll be back in action in no time.

I have sent friends who are University level athletes and friends who have been in serious collisions. Great service.

Fantastic physiotherapists!
The entire staff treat me with great attention to detail and care. I have been coming here on and off for several years as injuries have occurred. Hips, knees, lower back. Each time I have received effective treatment and appropriate home self-care instructions.

Everyone was very nice and welcoming. I really appreciated the time and care they took with my daughter and explained things very thoroughly to us both. It was a huge relief to find out that her injury was less severe than anticipated.

I have been going to this physiotherapy clinic for years and returned again after a motor vehicle accident. I am a complicated case as I also have severe Psoriatic Arthritis. Fraser Rebnord is one of the most knowledgeable physiotherapist I have come across that understands this systemic disease. If he doesn’t see results, he tries a different technique until he does. Could not be happier with my progress.

Andrew was able to heal my plantar fasciitis when no one else can. And all the staff is supper friendly and informative.

I had my second session with Sari for some chronic pain in my hip. I am 72 and I thought it was hip replacement time! After a very thorough assessment Sari assured me that it was my pirformis that would not release. She gave me the traditional "electrical" treatments but I really believe it was her working in the area with her hands and the careful placement of some needles that did the magic. Thank you so much Sari! I have been limping around for almost three months now and after two sessions, I can walk with ease. You are the best.
