Headlines is great and super convenient for everyone who works or lives downtown. I find that they have excellent availability and the service is fantastic. I used to dread going to get my hair cut like most people dread the dentist because it would usually be a negative experience that ended with my hair having been cut by someone who does not understand curls. Jessica has been such a welcome change to that and has made it easy for me to relax and enjoy my haircuts. I have been going to her for about two years and she is fantastic. She is friendly and a very talented stylist. I have long, thick, curly, course hair and she manages it with ease. My hair is more manageable in between hair cuts since I started going to her and she shapes my layers in such a great way. I have to do minimal styling with my hair now because the layers and shape are so great. She is also very quick, given the amount of hair I have. I would strongly suggest Jessica for anyone with curly, thick hair who is looking for someone who will understand the needs of their hair.

I’ve been coming to headlines for years because I like the place. The staff is great and they do great cuts. The scalp massages are a nice bonus. Definitely recommended.

I have come to this location approx 5 times however I am sad to sad the service seems to have gone downhill. First couple times were great and Jessica did an amazing job. However about a year ago my hair was thinned SO much at this salon that it is still recovering, then went back to another stylist maybe 8 months ago and left with over $220 bill and disappointment. The haircut was not what I was wanting and the colouring was not what I went in for as I was told one thing on the phone and another thing when I went into the salon. VERY overpriced for what you get. I would recommend looking at other reviews of other places with more reasonable pricing. Wish there service would have stayed the same from when I originally starting coming here.

I went into Headlines Salon about a week ago to get a touch up. Michael was working on me, at first he seemed nice, then he started bragging about himself and talking down about his staff. Seemed unprofessional, so I just there quiet in my chair. While he was cutting my hair, I could hear him slowly flatulence from his behind! It was so gross I could smell it and couldn't go ANYWHERE! His business also seems dirty and unorganized. He also charged double what I would have paid else where. Totally grossed out and not happy with my experience here. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

I've been getting my hair done at Headlines for over a decade and I've never had a bad experience. It's a treat to have Michael and his lovely staff do my hair and I've always walked out more confident than when I came in.

Great service by Nicola - and quite possibly the best hair cut I’ve had in my life. Priced competitively for the quality and attention to client care.

Went in to see nicola for a color and we went from dark brown to white blonde in one sitting. So happy definetly go see her!
