I ordered 5 pair of socks from the north gate store. I am having difficulty trying to talk to the store to see if they are even in. The order is in my husbands name Harvey Reimer. It would be nice to be able to talk to someone. These stocks are paid for, but am unable to find out anything

This place needs a manager. No one has a clue what's going on. Waiting 3 weeks for an install that didnt happen. Now maybe next week. They cant switch my delivery to a pickup because one hand can't talk to the other. They are unsure if I can pick up a wheelchair, its in stock.but mine isn't there.but not sure. Second worst store I have ever dealt with.

Today I visited Healthcare Solutions to try out some scooters for my mom. Belise helped me around showed me what they had and went ahead doing some research on a specific brand/maker I needed. Sadly, it's no longer in market. But I still tried what they had on the floor she let me try a couple of them and I loved them all. I'm bringing in my mom soon. I highly recommend this place.

I find very little help at this location.yesterday I went in seeking non woven gauze pads to clean my husband's stoma and they were out of stock she could not tell me when more would arrive and showed me a gauze with plastic on it clearly she is not trained and she was cranky.not impressed with the service at all

I went to health care solutions today to look for a walker for my older neighbor we were assisted by Victoria B we were more than pleased with her knowledge and the servicewe got i would rate are service 5 out of 5

I was at Northgate Center the other day a little bit later in the afternoon. I went to Healthcare Solutions, the people are phenomenal. They really know their stuff, no hesitation, a wide variety of choices and I am making it my number one store for health needs!

Thank you very much ladies for the extraordinary help and knowledge. Belise is one of a kind. I came in to get a 4 wheeled walker, not just any walker, it had to be super light weight and able to carry another medical device in the bag on the front. A basket would not do as the device could to easily fall out or fall over. Belise immediately knew which walker I should test drive, explained everything to me about the unit, sized it and etc. She even came up with an idea to try to get it in my SUV as I could not lift it that high, due to a back injury. It worked perfectly for me. Thank you Belise!

Once I find the business card of the other lady in customer service that helped me, I will revise this review.

Belise was the best, she took time to explain differences in compression socks. She taught us tricks on how to put them on right as well as maintaining them. I took my elderly friend to Healthcare Solutions on the south side to pick up a knee brace. Sandra helped us and she was fantastic! I thought she was just going to show us where the knee braces were located. She helped my elderly friend as she tried on at least ten different knee braces until she found one that she was comfortable with. Sandra must have helped us for about 45 minutes. She is wonderful!

I came in to get an ankle brace and was overwhelmed by all the options. Luckily, Victoria B was there to help me out. She took my size and got me to try on a couple of different ones until I found one that was perfect for me. She took time to answer all my questions and even made sure I knew how to put on the brace. Thanks for all your help!

Went in for help with knee braces and Cassandra was very helpful and was even able to direct bill my insurance for me. The staff are always so friendly and helpful.

Went to healthcare solutions this week and met with Chantel to look for a lift chair for my father. She asked many questions and found just the right chair for him. I went on to ask about other products and found so many little treasures throughout the store. I strongly recommend this place and if you run into her there, ask for her help as she is knowledgeable and kind. Well done

Buyer Beware.
Purchased a heat pad from the store only to find on first use it would come nowhere near the 80°C temp it is suppose to reach on high and felt like it barely made the medium level which seemed to diminish after a few minutes. Called the store and asked if I could return it for a new one.well seeing as I had opened it and fired it up I was informed they would look at it but it was now a warranty issue because I had placed it on my skin.well duh! GO FIGURE.
So here I am in need of a heat pad and in order to get one I have to buy another and send this one at my expense in for repair?
I definitely will not be purchasing from this franchise again if this is how they treat purchasers on a 35.00 item! I would based on previous experience recommend Congdons Aids To Daily Living as I know they stand behind the products they sell.

Visited the Northgate location and was immediately greeted by Chantal. She was extremely cheerful and helpful. She took the time to show me all about the product I was purchasing and how to take care of it. She made me feel at easy during my visit. I certainly left in a cheerful mood. Thank you Chantal.

I visited the Northgate store in December, to have my mother's walker looked at and repaired. Initial service was fine and I was told a part needed to be ordered. Forward to 6 weeks later. I understand there are supply chain problems, but any attempt to communicate with Healthcare Solutions to see the status of the order has been in vain. They have not answered texts, calls, or emails. In desperation, I stopped in at a smaller competitor yesterday, and within 24 hours they had obtained the necessary parts and completed the repair.

I went in for the free tuneup today which is the last Thursday of the month. The staff at the customer service counter are very efficient as there are many people wanting to get the service done too. We decided to wait in store and as we were walking around we were approached by many staff members asking if we needed help. The walker we had was assigned to us by an occupational therapist from Alberta Health services. I didn’t realize that she had measured my dad wrong and as a result had given us the wrong sized walker. I called my occupational therapist and she said there’s nothing they can do but then said that she would try calling the store that I was at to see if something could be done. About 20 minutes later I was told that I could exchange the walker for a brand new one because of the error and the staff at the store again were super helpful and I was in and out within 10 minutes.

Awesome Experience that I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars! We were in the market for a cane for my hubby Paul and feel very lucky and blessed that we were able to be helped by Tavaine. She was polite, curteous, knowledgeable and above all else, lots of fun! It made the whole expeience positive and care-free. We would highly recommend that if you are at the Northgate Healthcare Solutions you should actively seek out Tavaine as she goes above and beyond with her customer service and professionalism. Hopefully Healthcare Solutions in general, and the Northgate store in paricular, realise how VERY LUCKY they are to have someone like Tavaine on their staff.

The first time I was in the store I found the service to be mediocre but during my second visit I was helped by A'lora who was amazing. She knew the exact product I needed for achilles tendonosis and was extremely knowledgeable and patient in finding the right size of support sleeve. If it wasn't for her exemplary customer service I would have rated HS two stars.

Chantal was invaluable in helping us find the perfect lift chair for my father. I will definitely come back for any other items we might need.

Customer service lead, Tavanie snowdon greated me so well, and helped me in finding the product i.e, walker which fits my desires. She saw my condition and picked the best product.

Came here after talking on the phone on them a few days ago saying they can help. Came in and the customer service staff couldn't even cross reference a battery for a scooter. Make sure to go on a week day rather than a Saturday if you want anything done

The staff is very knowledgeable and they have literally almost anything you could need from band-aids to mobility scooters. Braces, splints, etc etc. Definitely your one stop shop.

They went above and beyond to make sure my Mom’s new walker was exactly the one for her. They first bought three to her Seniors Lodge to try but we went to the North Side Location to see more. They all were very professional and nice. Courtney took her time and answered all of our questions. And ensured my 94 year old Mom was happy with her final purchase. I highly recommend they for all your health care needs.

Breanna assisted me with a mobility device, however in chatting we forgot the metal piece for winter. She was patient and helpful in showing me how to use the device. The cashier was very pleasant as well.

I appreciate the customer service provided to me after an error was made. They corrected it in less than 24 hours. They remained polite and professional, and I am thankful to them for their service.

I went to Healthcare Solutions in Northgate Mall yesterday as I have a knee injury and was hoping to get some type of brace to help until I get my mri and any treatment going. Chantal was the one that helped and she was wonderful, cheery and fun. She brought me every king of brace that she felt would work and did not rush through things. I would definitely go back and just might as thinking of getting another brace as a "back up". Absolutely the best experience!

I have been using Healthcare Solutions for the past few month, completing many NIHB requests for equipment and aids of daily living. Pricing egregious. Dislike customer service information when holding a prescription from a Family Physician!

1st time when I came to the store there was a beautiful girl beautiful smile and very helpful I couldn't believe it none of her coworkers there so pleasant like she is very professional very pleasant knows her products knows how to speak with a client very helpful very caring what else can I say the universe is not enough words for her. Caressa from this location is amazing! We had issues with a wheelchair that we bought and it took her a couple of days but she got it solved for me!

My elderly mother went to pick up her compression socks yesterday - she had been waiting for 4 weeks. Upon arriving at home she noticed a hole in them. She went back today to get another pair and the rep Tavaine Snowdon was rude and said she could not help her and to go home as someone would call her.
It's unfortunate that she couldn't get help right there. She was also made to feel like she was a liar. Tavaine said it was her word against my mom's. That's not how we treat the elderly. Very disrespectful service. I would recommend you go somewhere else.

A simple yes or no question came with a ton of questions.do you have the item or not before I drive all the way into the city.

Recently suffered from a severe injury and had visited this store to get some gauze for dressing changes as well as a neck brace.
I was blessed to encounter Taivaine there! This lady is amazing at what she does! She went out of the way to assess my injuries and honestly did better than an actual doctor! Helped me pick out the right items for my dressing changes and also guided me and my hubby on how to take care of my wounds.
Because of her help and advise two weeks later my wounds are healed and I am feeling sooo much better.

Chantal is amazing! I took my 90 year old aunt in for compression stockings and a power assist lift chair and the service we received was incredible. We were treated so kindly and respectfully by Chantal. She fit the stockings perfectly and then spent considerable time ensuring that we found the best chair for my aunt - a chair she was comfortable in and could use with ease. She arranged the delivery for less than a week after we purchased it and the installers were wonderful. I would highly recommend Healthcare Solutions Northgate - and specifically Chantal!

I went to this store to buy knee support had no idea about sizes and measurements. Tavaine was very helpful and kind and took the time with me. I would definitely recommend going and seek her for advice very knowledgeable and nice person.

We had great experience in helping my mother buy a wheelchair and updating her 4-wheel walker. Chantal was the staff member at the North side location in Edmonton who assisted my mother. Chantal was knowledgeable, respectful and communicated very well. It was a great experience and will definitely be back again for any needs we have.

Went to healthcare solutions at Northgate. Cassandra helped me out ended up breaking my ankle needed a not so common brace. She found one for me online.orderd that said it was going to be two weeks and I've ended up coming in like 5 days it was amazing thank you so much

Their prices a higher than most places. We do most of ordering online.even compared to what's available in Edmonton they're on the higher end of pricing. As for the staff they a very helpful and few times we ordered it was delivered in a timely manner

My elderly mother was in need of compression socks because her legs were swelling to the point they were painful, it is very hard for me to take time off work to bring her in I called the store and spoke with Tanya and she informed me that healthcare solutions offers a service for a fitter to come into my mothers home help her. Only 2 days later (not a long wait at all) Cassandra came in and fit my mom for socks she was so patient and helpful what a wonderful service I highly recommend.

This is the worse Store ever. The staff is very mean. The supervisor Colette is even worse.she don't have any soft skills. I came in with a product that I bought online that was the wrong size. It was never worn, and I tried to exchange it for a smaller size and she told me to call a number because it was an online purchase from the same store. She knew that even if I called, they wouldn't exchange it anyway, but she made me call and loose me time. Therefore, I think she lied in my face. So, NO, I don't recommend this store.

All the girls here are awesome. The cashier, Rigel was quick and efficient, there was a line yet I was paid and out in the blink of an eye, which is great because I was in a hurry to get back to work. Kirsty and Chantal were extremely helpful with information as well. It's clear they all work very hard here and it's sad to think they're probably only getting minimum wage. Please praise all the girls there for their hard work as they go above and beyond!

They made sure the fit was correct, I knew how to put it on and take it off properly and were very professional in their service. To be able to walk for the first time in 10 years with little or no pain has changed everything. They even handled my emotional response with kind words of encouragement! Price gouging! Just because people are lots buying surgical mask, they jacked up the price from $14 to $30.

This store has absolutely everything you could possibly need for home healthcare and assisted daily living equipment. The store is well organized and the staff are very helpful with selecting the right product. They also have in-depth connections to suppliers, so if they don't have something in store, they probably could order it in for you. The location is very convenient, right across the street from Northgate transit hub.

My aunt wasn't happy with her chair and they directed us to call the manufacturer directly. As I expected, the manufacturer told us it was up to the company who sold us the chair to call them for solutions to fix it. I called back to advise the manager of this as the salesgirl was uninterested in helping. The manager never even bothered to call me back. I gave a 2 only because the repair guy was pleasant.

The store is clean and it's easy to find what you need. The girls are very friendly and helpful and have a lot of knowledge on the products. However, I'm not very clear on the refund policy. Fair enough if theres no returns, but its confusing when one girl says I can return the item as long as its packaged and then the cashier saying its non refundable. It doesnt seem like they're on the same page with that. Well, I'm very happy with what I've bought and wont be returning it anyway!
