Thinking of buying anything here? WELL DONT! I bought bunion splinters 3 times now at this same exact location because they’re made of such cheap material that they keep breaking. There’s no reason to charge so much for cheap stuff. On top of that you have to wait 3 months for your order to come in. Their customer service is really the worst. I will never shop here again. Definitely recommend Amazon or other stores for BETTER QUALITY bunion splinters.
Have just purchased a lift recliner for my mother-in-law from the North store in Edmonton. Our initial contact was with Taviane who listened to our requirements, schooled us on what to look for, the products available and steered my wife and myself towards the most appropriate recliner for my wife's mom's needs. On our subsequent visit we met with Harry who took great care to assist us further and helped conclude the purchase. With both individuals, service was personable, courteous, knowledgeable, efficient and patient. Could not ask for a better sales experience. The only downside was trying to return Taviane's phone message to me to the North store which requires being switched through the South store. Tried twice, with personal assistance from the answering service, but no one picked up. I had to leave a voice message which was finally returned the next day. Overall a very satisfying acquisition from Healthcare Solutions.
Chris was very knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful when I was picking out knee braces specifically patella support and that had lateral support as well. He helped me in 20 minutes to find them, where I couldn't find the right knee brace when I came in 2 times prior. Top notch service from Chris, highly recommend to get help from him!
A friend and I dropped in to see about pressure stockings. I want you to know that Chris made the whole experience so educational and enjoyable. Who knew that such leg wear would benefit the wearer in such a healthy way. We will be back to purchase more when they are in stock. Awesome!

She explained the different types and and after a couple of test fits I left with one. It, s not to often you experience a professional so focused on the customer She made me feel completely at ease WELL DONE!
Crystal and her team at Healthcare Solutions are service driven. It was a pleasure to deal with such an efficiency and knowledgeable staff. I will be ordering from them again! They carry top quality products and back it up with great service.
Went there to order compression wrap. Took forever to have someone to take measurement (over 15 minutes waiting, no one was on the floor it seems). Finally got someone who wasn't too sure about compression. She couldn't place the order in the system as apparently the coding for what I needed wasn't working/inexistent. The clerk was suppose to call back on Monday once a more senior staff member could help. No call so I showed up at the end of the day to inquire. The senior staff couldn't find the coding either apparently, so they tried to reach out to the manufacturer and were awaiting their reply. I asked for the price, which I was quoted $249.99. Fast forward Wednesday night, still no reply. Got in touch with the manufacturer myself on Facebook, which reply to me within 2 business hours and told me they will help Healthcare to find the coding for me. SURPRISE! Thursday I got a call from Healthcare, now the price is $149.99 but they say I need socks as well, plus an extension, plus whatever else. Seems like they had a grocery list ready for me. Turned it down, went to a competitor of them who within 1/2 hours figured out the measurement, coding, pricing, placed the order and 3 days later boom, everything was done. Save yourself time, money and frustration and go somewhere else if you need compression/wraps and good service.
As a new customer my discount did not apply. Crystal responded to my email within a few hours, made the adjustment manually. One item was on back order so Crystal offered options to get a partial order sent or even to choose another item. I highly recommend this company as they still care even after a purchase is made! Crystal was so helpful and caring - Crystal is an ambassador for the company! Thank you Crystal!

We purchased a foam roller from the Healthcare Solutions website. They offered the best price I was able to find online, and shipping was prompt and reasonably priced.
5 stars for the sales staff on the floor. They're helpful, and take their time to help you find what you're looking for and need. Minus 10 stars for the cash desk side. There are plenty of staff there, but their computers? Really pick and choose whose account to mess up. Staff (including manager) kept me waiting almost an hour to allow me to purchase five simple items. Don't make the mistake I did of moving to one side or sitting down nearby and waiting. If cash desk staff ask you to stand aside, don't. If a new-to-you staff member asks if you've been helped, say NO. The cash desk rang through about forty customers while I waited. No issues for them. They got my relative's address wrong on her account, too, and considering she showed them her driver's license when she opened the account (as they request), it was ballsy when they said my relative must've told them the wrong address and incorrect spelling of the street name. Her driver's license has been and is correct. Also, after I specifically asked several times for the 3-day trial that sales staff told me about for a support boot that was almost $200 (so you know you want it to fit), cash desk staff and manager said it wasn't possible. I insisted the manager write out and sign the 3-day trial on the receipt, and I'm glad I did, because the boot didn't fit. Then, when it came to the return, it was like no one had ever done a return before, ever, and it took so long, I said loudly we'll never return and that I'm going to leave a bad review on here because the business side of this store is SO bad, and people have a right to know. So here we are. If you have all day and bring your own folding chair, you might survive the cash desk area better than we did. I've nicknamed this store hell's waiting room.

I was at the store Wednesday and then Thursday this week, I was impressed with the products they carry and services they provide for seniors and other patients. Jill, the Service Manager, and staff I was talking to were very friendly and helpful. They are also knowledgeable about their products. Jill knows what to include in the invoices if we as customers need to claim refund from our insurance company, instead of just a cash receipt. According to my experience with them, their services are second to none. I would highly recommend Healthcare Solutions to friends and those who are looking for more information about products they are looking for.
Had great cheerful & informative customer service today from Cara when purchasing medical grade compression socks. She went above and beyond trying to find toeless sock options for me (to no avail). Cara was thorough and generous with her time in measuring me, showing me how to put on the socks, presenting some of the available helpful aids to use, but put no pressure on me to purchase. So refreshing to get top notch help these days- thank you Cara!
I want to commend Catherine, your employee, for assisting us perfectly when we bought compression stockings. She was only the one who taught us on how to wear properly, the benefits, the do's and don'ts which I didn't know before, the different kinds of textures. She even showed us how to use the gloves, wear a disposable shorts for my husband, so she could properly measure his legs. What a wonderful employee you have. Emily was very helpful in finding an appropriate splint for my hand / wrist injury and was complimented by the orthopedic surgeon afterwards that the item was an excellent item that saved me from getting a customized cast/splint.

Lots of staff standing around and none to even offer to help. When you do find one to help, they are absolutely clueless regarding the products they're pushing. Been here twice and never again. They make it pretty with the big screens and merch but just the basics and they're all lost. Customer service is only a sign in the store, it's not a practice they follow. Complete joke and waste of time.
I'm not sure what the qualifications of your staff are but I'm confident that they should not be questioning my qualified doctor's medical decisions. I am very disappointed with the services I received and would recommend a) going elsewhere if you are a customer and b) improved staff training because they were incredibly disrespectful towards myself and my doctor.

This store was understaffed. I had to wait 15 minutes until I got assistance. I got excellent help from Ila who gave up some of her lunch break to help me. I could not get the surgical boot I needed, a medium, as they were out of stock.

We were looking to buy a light weight walker for a senior family member. We went there the first time and was helped by Shamhad. She recommended a light weight walker C225 Evolution Sprite Rollator, mini, black. We returned the last Thursday of March and picked up one, taking advantage of the once a month sales for seniors. There, we found Shamhad again. She was professional and very helpful. The walker was great.

Susan assisted my husband and me today with his knee braces and she was very personable and helpful. She gave him as much time as he needed and brought him multiple braces to try on when he couldn't find one that fit. I love this store in general. I find all of the staff members helpful and personable and I love the selection of items.
I am very impressed with the service. I was in twice in the last 7 days to pick up a hospital table and raised toilet seat for my husband who just had knee surgery. Each time I was greeted by a real person the minute I stepped in and a person was assigned to help me find my items. The first time was Susan - awesome service. She put together my raised toilet and brought everything to the car for me. The store was clean and the items were dust free. I felt comfortable bringing products already assembled off the shelf home to use. What I was impressed with is the acknowledgment at the door and the personal service which seems so rare today with big box stores and Amazon.

Contacted this company in November of 2021 and we dealt with Darius and Paul for medical aides in our home including porch lift/chair lift, aides for all our bathrooms and bedrooms including doorways so we could have these supports in place for the elderly. Darius led us to believe for months he and this company could provide us with all the equipment and aides, came out to see us for 2 assessments, gave quotes and seemed like he really cared to help equip the house. This was not the case as he and this company left us all stranded by not returning any calls/text messages, emails and no response from their store. They cannot even acknowledge our attempts to reach them. If they were professionals and cared about helping people and servicing the health care field, the least they could do is have some courtesy to respond and say no they can't help us any longer. I would never recommend these people for any type of service and not sure why people like them chose to represent health care. They should be ashamed of their business ethics and actions.
My mother and I came into your store in November 2021 and we were greeted by Susan. We would both like to say that she was VERY helpful in picking out an appropriate 4 wheeled walker for her. She made sure that she would be able to pick the walker up herself and fitted it to her for the correct height and showed her how to use the hand brakes and curb "crawler" feature She also helped us find a shower stool and a bag to hold her oxygen tank in her car. Susan made this a very stressless event as we were already stressed before we got there. THANK YOU Susan.

Please be aware that you will have to pay the return shipping yourself if any items that do work out. It is hard to believe nowadays that you need to pay yourself for the return shipping!
The people who work here are great until I order my Ostomy supplies. I am told every time that I will recieve them within 5 business days but in the 6 months I have had my Ostomy, I have never recieved the supplies in the same week they were ordered. More often than not the delivery is split up and last time it was 2 weeks before I had the completed order. The standard excuse is supply issues so I emailed Hollister who after checking, assured me the problem is not on their end for my particular supplies. They even gave me a number to pass onto Healthcare Solutions so they could serve their clients better but of course they refused it. The shelves are bare of my supplies everytime I go to the store so I have had to borrow the money to purchase an emergency supply online which came in 4 days from Ontario. They dont seem to understand how trapped you are without a barrier. My subsidy is tied to this company so the least they can do is to STOP telling people they will get their supplies in 5 business days as it never happens. Thank you.

I just had an outrageously rude experience at this store. I am writing this review at 17: 05,5 minutes after the store closed. I went in at 16: 50 looking for a toe spacer. I was pointed in the direction and reminded the store closes soon. Right before 5 a brunette lady approached me and shortly said "tills close in 30 seconds. " I'm in a foot cast, but I headed to the tills as quickly as I could. The tills are right beside the exit. My receipt is time stamped for exactly 17: 00, but the same brunette lady locked the door RIGHT in front of me and told me I would have to exit through the side exit, across the store, despite me being in a foot cast shortly post op. Excuse me? But I hobbled my way out.
Trainee Natalia showed me various items for bathroom assistance and described their features plus looked up pricing. Anything she was not familiar with she checked with other staff to make sure I had the correct information.
Caressa, at the Northside Healthcare Solutions outlet, assisted with my purchase of support stockings. Everything was done in a timely fashion, which included consultation and measurement, to provide me with my prescription needs. Caressa was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. It's been 6 years ordering my employer's garments here and the customer service staff are very nice except Colleen in accounting she is very rude. She's keep cutting me off while I'm talking.
Great customer service. You do not feel rushed by the sales person, will do anything and everything they can to help you find what you need. Do not feel pressured into buying a product that is more expensive than another.
Easy to use website and the best prices around. The friendly, prompt and effective staff corrected a small shipping delay, keeping me in the loop throughout.
Hospital bed and over-bed table were installed by staff, and both worked with no issues. My mum found the bed to be comfortable. Delivery and pick-up team phoned ahead on the day of delivery/pick-up, to let me know when they were arriving, and each time, they were very punctual. Service was friendly and cheerful. Even though we rented the equipment for 2 weeks and 3 days, they charged us only for 2 weeks, saving us $50+tax. I highly recommend dealing with this location. They were pleasant to deal with during a difficult time.
Was just in to Healthcare Solutions (South Edmonton) to purchase several items to assist my wife when she is released from hospital. A'lora assisted me and within 5 minutes I had all the items our therapist felt my wife required. I just experienced the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE ever! My 84 yr old Mother needed a part that was no longer being made. Healthcare solutions sent me the replacement part but it would not work for the needs of my Mom. So I called in and spoke with Crystal and another woman in customer service, explained the situation and they apologized that they would not be able to get the original replacement part as it was no longer being made. I understood and accepted that, and let my Mom know. The next day I received an email and these wonderful ladies were able to find the original part that is no longer being made and very soon my Mom is going to be one very happy lady. Thanks again Crystal for the exceptional customer service! So appreciated. WOW so impressed!
Large store with huge selection for ostomy and wound care. One of the products we were looking for was out of stock. Staff was able to order it in and deliver it to our house within 2 days. Very satisfied with their customer service.
COVID19 UPDATE: I appreciate the signage and hand cleaning they have at the door. The staff is excellent at maintaining social distance and is very helpful. The online ordering is super easy and I appreciate the small family business attitude.
I checked out the new store last weekend and was really impressed by the huge selection of products. Compared to their old store there is much more selection. I was looking for some fitness equipment and wound care and they had a wide range of products that I could choose from. The staff was really excited to show me all of the different products.
As a bonus, the new store has much better parking too.
If you are in need of a patella brace, be sure to see Tammy (she gets 5 stars). She is wonderful and knows what she is talking about! She showed me the ones that would would work for what I needed and told me what was not going to do it. This was a huge relief since I was in a month earlier to the same location and saw someone else (someone quite new, I believe) and I not only ended up buying an expensive brace that my physiotherapist was very disappointed in (it wasn’t exactly what I needed), but she starting showing me other knee braces that were for pain instead of patella stabilization and she knew it wasn’t what I was looking for (a bit of a waste of time). I feel if you go here and get an experienced sales person, you will be in excellent hands. I also feel that the store should train their newer employees better.
Great selection for fitness and wellness equipment! It was hard to find weights, yoya ball and excercise bands during covid but this place had a wide selection with competitive pricing. I would much rather buy my fitness equipment from a local small business compared to large corporations. They also had a good deal on pain management oitment. Helpful and friendly staff. They even helped me carry all my products to my car since I loaded up on weights and kettle bells. Would definately come back for more products.

Amazing selection for walkers. They had every size and color possible along with all the accessories. Colleen has served Edith Sheppard, my younger foster sister with cerebral palsy, for many years. Edith lives independently, has graduated from college, and communicates readily by computer. Colleen has also very effectively assisted me over the years in learning how to use Healthcare Solutions as Our primary vendor for our personal products provided for through ADL (Aids to Daily Living) as well as by a private purchase while keeping our accounts well within our budget and able to be paid in full at all times.
At the end of the day, "it is what it is" - all authorization for funding must be in place before the products we need can be delivered. But going through the process to get there is like finding your way through a corn maze. That is where Colleen's assistance has been so helpful. Her experience both professionally and personally has been a godsend.
Especially when our personal health needs are changing as we age, the task can easily become overwhelming. Clear direction on how to proceed comes only from experience.
I learned from Colleen's experience as she works within a precise financial function but in an invaluably effective manner. For example, both my sister and I have the same doctor, but different and changing medical assessors, prescriptions for services/products, case managers, and personal care workers. But we need the same ADL authorizations, vendor (HCS), delivery service, and A/R persons/HCS/Colleen.
Each piece of the puzzle must fit into place for our needs to be met and our bills to be paid. Colleen's experience is essential because she can let us know what piece is missing, how long that process usually takes, and how to plan ahead to confirm authorization to be able to receive our products on time.
So how do I say 'thank you' Colleen, for all you have done for us personally and I am sure for countless more HCS customers? So if any of you people can relate to what I have tried to express from your personal experience with Colleen's assistance and support please take a moment to your thank you.

Went in for sanitizer and mask but ended up getting fitness equipment as well. Had no clue this healthcare store offered fitness products which was nice and handy to minimize multiple trips during covid. Darin was knowledge with all my questions and recommend a handful of products that worked well for my new fitness routine.
