Was not at all professional over the phone. In fact seemed very strange answering with “hello” followed by silence in which we asked if we had the right place and he said simply “yes” followed by further silence other than faint background noise. Our further questons were not answered so in case we were put on hold and were just not informed we waited for 9 minutes according to the call history. With nothing but silence or faint background noise over this time we decided to explore alternative options. He neglected to even ask us what we were calling for or communicate anything further.

They were very efficient and respectful. They were prompt and professional, and honestly made my moving experience less stressful. We had a very smooth moving experience. I highly recommend this company.

Needed help moving large pieces of furniture from a house to a condo within the city. The two men crew of Austin and Joseph did the job effortlessly, efficiently and were fast.
We had a large awkward sectional that would not fit through our front standard door the normal way but as experienced movers and maybe even magicians they somehow got it in? ! Once they realized how heavy the sectional was, without hesitation they offered to set up the legs of the sectional before leaving as they knew it would be too difficult for my husband and I to lift and move around. In which they had no obligation to but we were thankful for sure.
They are movers who are reliable, friendly, professional, kind, courteous and provide a service that is so needed when you can't do it yourself and if you don't have the physical strength to lift, push and pull or the experience to do it well.

We had an amazing experience with our stressful move. Ron and his team were professional, quick, efficient, and great communicators. Because we knew we had a lot of stuff, we made sure to book more people and a bigger truck. We were aware of the travel time and extra costs but a job done right is what matters the most. I needed a Kamado Joe Classic III smoker moved up one flight of stairs, as it's heavy as hell and an awkward shape. These guys had the most reasonable price and were in and out within 15 minutes. I usually just bite the bullet and move things myself, but this was worth the fair price asked.

Ron and Joseph were very professional and responsible. Two men and a truck, 6.5 hours to load a 10x10 storage unit, unload it, then unload a 8x8x16 pod, last but not least, they moved all the boxes to the appropriate rooms. Thanks so much Helping Hands Moving.

Very good experience! I was very nervous to get movers but these guys went over and above to keep our stuff safe. They took there time, they were easy to deal with, very nice guys. We were charged over $200 more than we were quoted, with the explanation that the person who did the quote made an error regarding travel time. Someone called us and said they would look into it further and get back to us.never did. Only reason they really called was because the e-transfer was taking a few minutes to come through, lol. So unprofessional! We also had to help them lift and carry some items to speed things up. Brutal.

Moving is a frightening experience and getting the right moving company with the right personnel is difficult to come by. Helping hands family movers helped to make all these fears go away. From scheduling a time to move to their arrival, care of my belongings and safe delivery at my destination, I thank Austin and his team. I will recommend this company anytime and will use them whenever a moving needs arises.

I hired "Helping Hands Family Movers" and I am extremely disappointed with them, for some reasons:
They left behind (at the previous house) some furniture and boxes.
They charged me substantially more than the quote they sent me, claiming they spent more time loading and unloading the truck
They damaged my TV and BBQ and no answer from them to reimburse me.
I sent some emails to them and they replied just one, being very clear that they do not care.
Even though they are in person very polite, outgoing and kind, I had these issues after the job was done and the answer from them (by email) was frustrating.

I used this company to move my business to another city.
They were calm and professional and did a great job from start to finish.
I highly recommend this company and their services.
You will not be disappointed.

What a great experience moving with this company. The crew was fast and efficient, more then I would have ever expected. They were careful with all of my possessions and honest about certain items before moving them. I'll refer them every time someone I know is moving. They did not disapoint. Another bonus, they finished before the time we had booked, which made the cost less. Dont bother looking any further, book this company for your move.

I wasn’t sure what to expect but these guys turned out to be consummate professionals, fast, friendly, they had all the right tools and equipment. They were very gentle with my furniture. They helped me reassemble everything the way it was. All I had to do was sit back and relax. I would highly recommend and will definitely use them again in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This was my first time hiring movers and I was initially not sure what to expect. However, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality service provided by helping hands family movers. Not a single piece of furniture was damaged and not a single wall or baseboard was damaged as we moved in to my new home (something that always happens when I have moved in the past). These gentlemen treat your furniture with care - as if it is their own. Moving is a stressful process in itself and having quality movers helped immensely with reducing that stress. Hands down the best movers in town. Moving is hard and exhausting at the same time but they made it fun, we were laughing from the time i moved my staff to the time they delivered it. They were very attentive to my needs and no walls or furniture was damaged. They also offered to help me re-assemble my bed frame. They are very kind and patient too. If i could put 100 stars i would because their service was exceptional. I highly recommend them.

A colleague from work recommended this company to me and she said they did a very good job for her.
I phoned them and the lady I got was Angela. She gave me some estimate which was reasonable compare to their competitors.
My move was scheduled for 930am with 3 movers and the boys arrive about 15 mins before 939
I have a super sensitive fragile glass ware which has been in the family for almost 90 years and also some sentimental items which Austine assured me they will take care of.
I have hired movers before and I've not seen a hard working crew with vast knowledge on what to do like these guys.
Complete tool set to dismantle my furniture and put them back together.
And the carefulness with my floors and walls.

Fast, friendly, professional service! Helping Hands wrapped my furniture very well, and had it moved quickly and with care. No wierd hidden fees - the company was transparent with costs on their quote for services too when I was shopping around trying to decide which service to use. In the end I am so happy I went with Helping Hands and would absolutely recommend their services.
