Heritage Family Medical Centre

Because I don't have a family doctor, the clinic accepted me as a walk-in. I was called in less than 30 minutes. I've noticed that their process for taking care of patients, whether new or old, is quick. The receptionists are courteous and helpful. I spoke with a good and kind doctor. A highly recommended medical clinic.

Bad customer service with a long waiting time sometimes more than an hour even if you have an appointment and the worse if you are late just 5min they will cancel the appointment. They have never been punctual to any of the appointments I and any of my family members ever had.

Dr. S Mirza is a proactive physician. Not the typical doctor visit, where they listen to your complaints and bring out the script pad. He probes into your overall health, questions you and runs tests and looking for any issues that might be of a concern. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Mirza is 10/10, great doctor, actually cares. The downside is wait times are horrendous, with an appointment your still waiting 45 minutes.

I have been going to Dr. S Mirza since I came to Calgary. He's the best, he listens to what you have to say and he is very respectful and he's funny. We always have lots of laughs. When you enter the office, you are always greeted in a friendly manner. He has a great team working with him.

Very caring and willing to listening you issues without prejudice. Mr Mirza is very helpful and gets you the help you require!

I went to Dr. Mirza after looking for a doctor and have 5 of them tell me that I was perfectly healthy even knowing I was in pain. He sent me for tests and when that yielded nothing he sent me to a ciropractor. This enabled me to find out that my pain came from 3 pinched nerves in my spine. Now I have no more pain and can move again.

I've been a patient of Dr. Mirza since he started practicing at this clinic after the retirement of my former GP. Dr. Mirza is a no-bull, straight-talk, straight-shooting doctor. Extremely knowledgeable. Always professional.

I started going to the Heritage Clinic in 2004, every time I enter the clinic i am always greeted a friendly manner, The waiting room is clean and lots of seats. Free Parking and minutes from my house. I also like that London drugs and the best supplement store in Calgary is in the same mall. I cant see myself going anywhere else for the foreseeable future

45 minute wait to an appointment that was booked.
I can't believe this.if your Dr. "Tends to run late " book accordingly.

Excellent doctors specially Dr. Zapsnik and his team Angela and Malisa, My family doctor is Dr. Zapsink last 20 years and he is one of the best Doctor. They always help me to get the appointments and answer my questions. I love the service they provide. Both the girls you rock.

We are patients of Dr. Zapasnik for many years. We always fill at ease with him. We just love him. Front desk staff is wonderful. Angela and Melissa are very friendly, patient, respectful, responsible and knowledgeable. We never had to ask them twice about referrals or prescription faxes.
We recommend this practice for anyone who is looking for professional help.

Visiting Calgary and suddenly needed medical care. Called 4 medicentres and got 4 rejections. Heritage made app't for me quickly. Staff and physician kind and competent.

Worst customer service ever. I feel bad for the great doctors that work in this clinic and the terrible staff who are at the front desk. No tact, no respect, they wouldn't even accept an Out of Country patient who was willing to pay up front. Avoid this place, really, it is not worth your time, nor your money (think about the taxes you pay!)

1. First receptionist was very unsure of herself not very clear about her discussions her name was Debbie and not organized gets very flustered.

2.waiting for Dr. Mirza sitting down noticing insects crawling around on floor place is not very clean.

3 upon making or grading Dr. Mirza on my first visit I noticed he is not very forth coming and likes to jump to conclusions about things he likes to assume things and not get facts. I was not intrested in being a patient of his due to his lack of skills or thoughtfullness. I felt a cold reception and a phonyness he produced to me. I am glad there are many other doctors to look for.

4. My grade overall is a F. There was no positive things to say about the staff or doctors or cleanliness.

5. I recommend to shop around to find a proper doctor to treat you as a human being and take the time with you to get and find the proper level of care and solutions. Trust me they are out there. We deserve better Health Care lets not sit back and take it for sub par service.

6.6.inclosing we as patients have the right to disqualify a doctor if they are sub standard to what your expectations are. It isnt about Dr. Mirza or any other doctor accepting us as patient's talk about a eagle trip. Remember shop around for the right doctor many doctors

I go there to see Dr Zapasnik. Him and his staff are always very helpful. This is a good place if you're looking for a caring family doctor.

Poor customer service. I went to that clinic today around 6pm to check if they're accepting patient and the unpleasant front desk receptionist told me that I need to do a meet and greet first to check if I am approved by the doctor or not? Is it a doctor's office or what? I don't understand why I need an approval and so curious what does the requirement will be to be approved by the Doctor? Awkward moment

I've been calling for months to make a simple appointment for a prescription refill within the week and the excuses I get are either the doctor doesn't work that day, I can't see another doctor or the doctor is on vacation. Walk in times can be hours before seeing someone and it's just extremely frustrating to deal with.

Best nurse (Karen) & doctor I have ever found. Love her Dr. Kozma. & whenever I am ill, she has always fixed any problems for me that I have ever had. This clinic is very professional & always helpful. Excellent patient care.

Worst clinic ever. Wait times are awful and the receptionist needs retraining obviously. Tried asking her for reminder phone calls so she calls me AFTER the appointment, claims she spoke to us the day before and starts getting rude about missing an appointment we specifically asked reminder calls for. Best part? She violated privacy laws. Started to tell me everything without even confirming I was the patient. When I told her I wasn't the patient she told me anyway. She didn't even bother to check she had the right family. I stopped going months before this for this exact reason. Now trying to convince the rest of my household to go to a different clinic. Besides, they claim by take walk ins but good luck. Make sure you call ahead because they only accept walk ins at certain times and it changes.
