High Rollers Bowling & Beer Hall

We had so much fun here with our kids bowling and playing arcade games. The happy hour prices were great.

We wanted to do a family activity with our foreign students in then holiday so tried getting a reservation for bowling but it was full however we did decide to have dinner. The service by Annabella was great the food was a little slow coming out but the drinks came fast so that was a save. The pizzas were good one was a little salty (Godfather) compared to the rest but still had flavour. Overall good experience

Visited for an hour of bowling, and opted to order our food at the end of the session rather than waste any valuable bowling time on eating! Lanes are rented by the hour, regardless of how many bowlers, which worked great for us as a couple as we were able to fit in four games. Layout a bit odd due to the size, meaning staff and patrons were constantly walking between your alley's seating and the play area. Unfortunately we couldn't try out the pinball and arcade machines as this whole area was in use for a private event.

Our server was attentive and prepped us a table in the bar area for when we finished bowling. We visited on a Thursday and took advantage of half-prize pizza. The pizza and onion rings were very good.

Hands down my fav place in banff (besides nature). Of all the resturants i have tried there.this place had the best food. (I didnt try all the food in banff however.just several 4-5 star places which i will never go back to) but this place.the food is soo good here! Drinks are good and bowling is bowling so of course its fun. Each time we have been there the servers have been super kind and helpful and friendly. If you wanna have bowling to yourself for at least an hour or two.go right when they open.its usually just you for the first hour and maybe one group of people the second hour. I only went two different sundays. Its also fun for little kids. I will say the music they play there is more so adult friendly and some of the songs I wouldnt want my child to hear but that is something you have to decide for youself if you want your kids there. But other then that. GREAT PLACE.they even have old arcade games and two pool tables.you have to get cash for those though. Great place.

The servers are very rude.for your own sanity please go to rose and crown it’s 1000% better.

Bowling by the hour, food by the plate, drinks by the cup, bills by the name. Maybe one of the best tab systems I’ve seen at a place like this. Bowling was fun, didn’t touch the arcade games but looked classic

Always a good time at high rollers. Perfect place to sample beer and have a fun game of bowling with your friends!

We couldn’t go bowling because the lanes were booked until midnight both days we were in town. We enjoyed billiards and some beer instead.

Was pleasantly surprised by the level of excellent service we received while we bowled. It’s always worth acknowledging, even in a casual spot, when the service and the food (In out case, pizza) are great. Thanks for a fun night, folks!

Upon entry, the restaurant has a very 80’s vibe. The downstairs bowling alley, lighting, and music setup.

Once seated, waitresses are prompt to get you your menus for drinks and food. There are some great specials throughout the week, specifically the 1lb wings for $7.50 on tuesdays.

Although there are not many wing flavours, our table went ahead and ordered almost all to give them a try (honey garlic, barbecue, salt and pepper, spicy). The wings were meaty, and there were about 9-10 per lb. They were generously coated in flavouring, and tons of wet napkins were provided as well! The side of fries were a bit over salted for my liking, but it was not unbearable. If you don’t like much salt, I’d suggest to ask for less when you order.

There are tons of choices for beer on tap, but the electric ave.was a hit for our table. We also got one of the fishbowls (can’t remember which specifically), but the flavour was great nonetheless.

One issue, dependent on where you are seated is the volume of the speakers playing music. It can be awfully loud for those with sensitive ears if you sit near them, however, simply asking your waitress/waiter if you could shift down does the trick, as they are willing to accommodate your needs.

Overall, the experience was very pleasurable, not many complaints I can or negative things I can say about the place, definitely stop by if you can for some wings! Definitely suggest honey garlic, especially with the house made ranch dip they provide:)

EDIT: Went for bowling on a Thursday night. Amazing atmosphere. One booking gets you 1 hour of play. Service remained incredible, and shoutout to Sydney (I believe it was?) for being an amazing waitress, making the experience worthwhile!

Went there for a bachelorette two nights in a row because the service was so good! John S the bartender was amazing and attentive. Amazing atmosphere and staff. John was so patient and amazing with our difficult, annoying wasted party! Had to come back to see him he’s great and so was everyone else! Thank you banff! John F the security was also amazing and kind. They left a great impression on me

Expensive but fun. Who doesn’t like bowling? We chose to dine in and it was very pricey as well -burger and fries $20+, personal pizzas $20+, you get the deal.it adds up. It was fun but not a place that can be frequented due to cost.

Fun place with a great atmosphere. The food was decent, but had the high Banff mark-up. The physical menu didn’t mention some of the fun things you can order - use the online menu. The 10 pin bowling is a great feature. The staff were okay - nice enough but brisk and inattentive, I guess since it seemed a bit busy.

We went here as a big group to celebrate a birthday. I had a stroller and it wasn’t clear to see how to get down…someone carried it down the stairs for me. Leaving we saw that there was an elevator, just not marked well on the main floor I guess. Bowling was fun. One of our lanes was having technical issues but the staff did what they could to move us around given it was a weekend time slot and busy. The food was excellent, way better than any of us expected for a bowling alley to be honest. Loved the pizza and wings and the service was fast and friendly. We’ll be back the next time we’re in Banff.

This drink we shared was the highlight of my night with the usable fishing rod. I somehow managed to catch the lobster?

Fun spot in downtown Banff with bowling, billiards, craft beer and pizza. The bowling is expensive but it is fun. Almost 50 beers on tap and the food is reasonably priced. We really enjoyed the wheeler hut pizza. It gets really loud around 11pm on most nights a big party and typically a DJ. Fun spot if you're in for a loud and big night but can be loud if you're trying to chat with friends.

So I’ll start this off that the bartenders and service INSIDE the establishment were great, on the exit; not so much. I was here with my wife on Sunday January 8 2023, leaving the bowling alley at 8: 55pm. As we were walking up the stairs to leave and the door that we entered the establishment through was locked and had an exit sign pointing to the left, we didn’t notice until we walked up to the door. The little rude male employee standing there then said: “the exit is to the left as the sign clearly indicates” in a very sarcastic tone. It is not like we were shaking the door or trying to break out; we pushed it once and noticed it was locked so went to the other door. No need for the condescending remark, very rude. I guess that’s why all he amounted to is a door man at a bowling alley. I’m sure his parents are proud.

We had a great time here while on holiday in Banff! 10-pin bowling isn’t common where we are from, so it was a first for me and not much harder than 5-pin. The venue is super cute and has lots of seating. The billiard and game area looked like a blast, but we only bowled. Staff were friendly, and our server was excited to recommend some more places to eat in town. The pizza was surprisingly amazing! We had no trouble booking a day or two ahead, but it was full so definitely book in advance.

Nice fun spot with decent beer selection and fun bowling. They should limit the lanes to a set amount of people. We spent over $115 for 45min of bowling only to have a kids bday party next to us taking up all the space. Probably would return but way overpriced

It's okay. Expensive for what you get. But, Rollers is one of the only places to go bowl in Banff after a pint. Solid 3/5 for good atmosphere alone.
