If you don’t want your possessions destroyed, I would highly recommend going with another company. We had originally hired Highland Movers back in 2014 and the move went perfectly. However, our move in June 2023 was another story.

During unloading, they moved the truck causing a collapse, where items in the truck fell over. Our 65” big screen tv, some dishes and a glass/wood coffee table were damaged beyond repair and our iron baking rack, exercise bike, filing cabinet, custom framed artwork, side table, wood dining table, beautiful wood detailing suede couch, and were all badly damaged. There were chunks taken out of the wood on our couch during the move.

All in all, they caused us thousands of dollars of damage, at the time the movers said they would speak to their office about rectifying the situation since it was their mistake.

They have offered to reimburse us $72.20. We have yet to receive the cheque for payment.

Highland helped us moved across Calgary and was really amazing. Wisdom, Ali and Steve did a great job and Arliss is the dispatch team was really good as well to get everything organized. The movers were cautious and thorough, can't recommend enough! Thank you very much:)

We had a small local move withing Calgary. A delay in our possession date was easily accommodated by Arliss. The team led by Wisdom did a great, trouble free move for us. They were tidy and efficient, and helpful getting our larger furniture disassembled, packed, unpacked and reassembled!

We have used Highland for our last 3 Personal Moves. The staff are always polite, friendly and courteous. They have done a great job each time we have used them. Well worth it - makes the moving process move so much quicker and less stressful! Thank You!

Wisdom and his crew moved everything with great care and attention. They showed up on time and these guys worked hard until everything was unpacked at my new house. I would recommend this moving company. I will be using them again in the future.

Wisdom, Eugene and Ali came and moved us today. Very impressed with the job they did! Antique dining room set was well taken care of as well! We had Highland movers for a local move in Calgary.
The biggest issue for us was the packing. Wardrobe boxes were used and our belongings were just dumped into these boxes from bottom to top.
The basement wasn’t even packed and it cost me overtime for the movers to stop and pack.
Once the boxes were in the new house, we discovered that the labelling was really bad and we are still searching for items. I have lamp shades but no bases!
Most boxes were put into the basement despite being bound for other rooms.
I spoke with the company contact, Arliss, who told me someone would be in contact. That was over 2 weeks ago.
For the huge cost of the move, I should have received better service.

Rob and his crew were just fantastic! We moved within Calgary last Thursday, and they showed up on time, packed everything with the utmost care, and were super efficient! On top of that, Arliss (who helped me with the booking) is so nice. I had called 3 moving companies until I called Highland, and it was Arliss professional yet friendly attitude and their fair pricing what just sealed the deal.
