Hillhurst Sunnyside Farmers’ Market

Good variety of fresh produce and fresh-prepared foods. Prairie Mill Bakery goods are what keep me going back.

This is the best flea market in calgary the people are very friendly and honest and they are all good friends most of whom have been attending every Sunday for years and know each other extremely well and some of which have good deals too. Some very interesting items to be had here. Vynyl records, lots of DVDs and lots of antiques divide the assortment of oddities regularly available here. Not to be missed for visitors to Calgary given the opportunity. Go to Sunnyside station via the LRT and go down 5th st till u see it on the right hand side. It should have tables outside in the summer in front of the community center, if its winter look for the community center that has a full parking lot along with the surrounding streets. Enjoy!

Everyone seems very friendly, and prices reasonable for the most part. Mostly collectables for sale. A few vendors with tools. Personally, I was hoping for more sporting goods or clothing. Solid 4/5 stars.

I enjoyed my first visit there and appreciated the amenities and the great service from the staff. Construction on the road kind of inconvenienced me but nothing serious.

Well organized, nice variety, well spaced. I think there needs to be a couple of arrows on the floor as some people missed the one way sign at the entrance.

Absolutely one of the best places to find homemade and local foods. They've got everything from East African cuisine to organic produce. The vendors are just as lovely as the food, which really makes all the difference.

Veggies, breads, treats, cooked food, honey, beer/cider/moonshine and handmade gifts from Calgary and surrounds, plus a little BC fruit. Nice folks. Great park and playground next door for picnics.

Always a pleasant experience at HSCA's Farmers Market! This morning there was a small orchestra playing for the children in the Hearth. Lots of room in the Gym to check out the vendors.

Saturdays, 11: 30 to 4: 00pm is the Hillhurst winter Farmers Market. I would estimate there are 40 +produce & misc.vendors. It's well attended by the locals and people passing by, attracted by the signage.

I love this market. It's been my go-to spot for local fruit, veggies and HONEY since forever. The folks over at Buzzy Bee are the best! The volunteers are sweet, kind and always willing to pause for a chat. Appreciate their dedication through bad weather, pandemic and good times. Thanks!
