I was completely unaware of their existence and my need for filament led me here. A wall of printing supplies was what i was greeted with very helpful staff, prices on par with Amazon, fun to see the selection. I’ll definitely be back, got some black twinkling pla that’s been amazing to print with.

Ordered online twice. Fast shipping, went out the following day. On my second order I mistakenly ordered one different size. The gentleman picking my order called to see if I meant to do that or if I wanted to change it for the right size and swapped it out for me. Amazing customer service!

This big store is awesome. A large variety different items that are well stocked. The website is great and makes it easy to find what you're looking for, but I would recommend popping in to check it all out.

Guy working in the RC department wouldn't help me and my brother we were hoping to get an RC truck but would help other people and ignore us very bad experience and half an hour wasted

This place is good fun, all kinds of neat-o stuff. I went in for miniature paints and supplies and was disappointed by the poor selection of paints and gear. The staff were very friendly and helpful, it's a great place.

Online stock does not represent what is in store. I was looking for 5S balance plugs and 40 were showed to be online. Drove to store and there was 1 on the shelf. Our customer service rep said there was no other leads in the store. Call ahead before driving to this store or go to Amazon.

Hobby wholesale is THE place to go for anything related to hobbies. Whether it's models, trains, telescopes, toys, metal detectors, etc etc etc. I could go on for pages but the point is they have all the good stuff and every member of their staff is knowledgable when it comes to everything. Want a 3000 piece puzzle? They have it. Want an awesome kite? They have it. Want great types for kids of all ages? They have it. You will not be disappointed. Couldn't recommend it more highly. The only problem is you want to buy everything you see.

Lots of toys to choose from to please both adults and kids from RC cars to plastic and metal models to various model train scales.puzzles and kids toys.

This place is the best! High quality toys for young and old. Massive selection wish I had more time to spend here. Will be back!

Premium prices for garbage. Missing pieces on puzzles. Kids snap models cannot be put together they are junk. $200 spent on 4 pieces

Knowledgeable and pleasant staff, vast array of cool widgets, doodads and even some thingamabobs. Wish I'd come here sooner. Would recommend.

Good selection. Knowledgeable staff. High prices. Customer complaint procedure needs improvement. I bought an expensive Grand Valley model train layout kit and it was missing one of the important base pieces that has the actual layout plans on it so I had to go out and find and purchase material to substitute for the missing piece in the kit and then guess where to place all the tracks to make it work. It was the last one in stock and I had already built my base supports for this kit so returning it for a refund wasn’t an option for me. I let Hobby Wholesale know and asked if they would be willing to give me an in-store credit to compensate me for the missing pieces and costs to replace but they didn’t seem interested in that. I don’t really understand why as I wasn’t asking for much, just fair compensation for a missing piece. I even showed them a picture of what was missing. On the bright side, I was able to make a visit to The Train Exchange Ltd.in west Edmonton where I found much better prices, excellent service, and a pretty good selection for all I needed. Ended up getting my second locomotive and rolling stock, buildings, and some maintenance items for my layout and saved a lot of money too! I would recommend you visit The Train Exchange first and if you can’t find what you’re looking for there, then maybe try Hobby Wholesale.

A great place to get RC parts and paint. I even got the body shell I was having a hard time ordering online from here. PS-7 was only $10! Online at Amazon its $30 with shipping! Check here first and keep it local.

The place has adapted with change over the years and still I find it interesting to window shop new things they keep in stock. Real polite staff.

It had been some time since my last visit, we accidentally ended up driving by and I pulled in on reflex. The staff here are very knowledgeable and very avid to help. Never a bad experience going in to Hobby Wholesale I highly recommend stopping by.

When you walk in you would think it should be the happiest place on earth, until you meet the staff. God forbid you have to deal with the manager.

The store was a big overwhelming with everything there, so much to look at and see.the staff was nice and answered any questions I had and always made sure to ask if we needed help.

I had been wanting to go there for a while and lately I had watched a cpl of RC boat vids on YouTube and it def made me go. Got my first RC boat, helpful/knowledgeable staff, great variety of anything RC anyone would want. Def recommend it to both first timers or experts.

First time going there was amazing as Jerry was amazing and very knowledgeable about rc trucks. As he helped me with my slash 4x4 and get the parts as I needed. I was not impressed by Iain getting upset the fact that I didn't have enough money as I have politely asked him how much would it be, so I told him how much I have gotten and he said I couldn't do anything with my slash and decides to toss my truck on this table and other stuff at me like as if I was a poor person. I haven't been into rc for awhile so I have forgotten the prices. Besides then a very nice lady who helped me and told me jerry was the one to talk to and he has done amazing.

Great store, much bigger than I thought it would be and huge selection of many different things. They didn't have stock of a couple things I wanted but the majority of what I needed for painting and airbrushing was in stock and easy to find.

I needed some help figuring out an art project, and somewhere here told me what tool I should use. He said I could find a more appropriate tool elsewhere. I really appreciated the honesty. I’ll be sure to come back if there’s anything else I need.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. One of the best hobby selections in Alberta. RC, Modelling, Railway, Paints, Toys. Definitely worth the trip!

I bought a boat from you and it doesn’t work, when I came back u refuse to return it and want to charge me for a new battery.it was less than one month when I came and there is a one month waranty, I am very dissapiinted.

My sons both love this store! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I especially appreciate the man who sends a lollipop around on the train for my little guys. The extra efforts go a long way!

Probably the largest selection and variety of hobby items I've ever seen in one store. From model trains, ships, planes, and cars, to RC cars, aircraft, watercraft, to slot cars and tracks, a huge selection of Lego, Playmobile, puzzles and other childrens toys and games.the list can go on and on. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. This is definitely the place to come to for the hobby loving friend or family member.

Always has what I'm looking for. As for quality? It's a dollar store. Want better? Then pay for it and buy better, you get what you pay for. However, been able to get some great deals and the basics no problem.

VERY family friendly. Staff are knowledgeable. Return policy isn't amazing, but I get it for the type of industry they're in. LOTS of selection for RC vehicles. Also great section of toys for smaller children.

They have very knowledgeable staff, and a large selection of hobbies for one to indulge himself iñ, such as RC vehicles ranging in price from $65 to $1400. The priçey ones can go up to 60 to 80 mph.just blew me mind with what me saw

Always a treat to visit this location. Staff and the customers are both helpful and informative, like walking into a mini-community where you're instantly welcomed. Incredible selection of everything a hobbyist could ask for in almost any interest, and if they don't have it, the learned staff will be happy to guide you to other resources.

I've ordered several times from Hobby Wholesale. The selection of products is very good as is their free shipping policy. Staff on the phone or online answered any questions I had. Items arrived correct and in a timely fashion. A great store for all your hobby needs!

I came in with all intentions to purchase a model train however they did not have what I wanted in stock so the next step was to place an order for what I wanted to purchase. The employee that I spoke to was not even half interested in helping me and wanted ME to do the research on the model that I wanted to order and email HIM this information. My suggestion was to give him my email address and he could send an email to me with what was available to order. He did not want to be bothered with having to do this! I now fully understand why brick and mortar stores are becoming a thing of the past. The employees in these stores now want the customer to do all of the research so that all they have to do is place the order and collect the profits! So much for customer service? No passing grade for this store.

Surprisingly large inside with a variety of modelling paints and harder to find tools. Surprisingly, they also sold DJI drones at an excellent price and 3D printing filament. If it's a hobby, and you can't find it anywhere else in Edmonton. You might find it here.
