The one star is only because it will not allow any lower! These guys have no business calling themselves a RV repair shop, they’re a replace parts shop and still can’t fix some problems. We spent $687 and got parts replaced on the furnace but no working furnace. The owner said we will get it fixed tomorrow if you leave it one more day, I can’t afford to have the so call tech spend another two or three hours to not fix the problem!
Horrible owner, he was hostile towards us after we paid the full bill and received nothing for $687….

I got into the unit the stove top was on the table, the plug for the water heater is missing and I paid them to lube the slides, I guess I should be grateful they put a can of $31 lube in the cup holder.

Well the new board in the furnace ($280) they charge us for wasn’t new at all, we had a RV repair company (RV Doctor in Colorado) came out and fixed the problem in minutes of showing up. Not sure how they keep a 4 star rating, beware of cons!

Could not recommend them any higher. From out of town and had tried to come in on a long weekend Monday and they were closed and came the next day running late and they were super patient and answered all my questions and directed me to every part I needed on my long list I hadn’t been able to find elsewhere. Will definitely be back for any more in-depth repairs when needed. Thank you Wendy and Brent!

Hobo repaired my damaged camper after a mishap at a reasonable price. They were patient and generous in helping put the camper back on the truck, providing good suggestions to streamline the process.

I called 4 different RV places to try to get in today (Monday before a long weekend) to do winterization on my trailer. I was being told there was no time to get in today or being quoted $200. Then I found this place, she told me on the phone to drop in any time today and it was $127 all in for the service. It was quick and easy, my son and I ate at the lovely restaurant across the street while we waited. I’ll be back to have a more in depth service done in the spring!

These guys really know their stuff. Did a fantastic job repairing our trailer axle which had a fire, plus all the other little things that needed doing. The prices are reasonable and location is convenient.

They know their stuff - if they don't have it, not afraid to point you to someone who does. Top-notch service.

I was picking up our tent trailer today and David noticed that the rear tire on my vehicle was almost flat. He took the time to fill it even though the shop was very busy. Thanks David! Very grateful that I didn't need to deal with a flat tire on the side of Edmonton trail with my tent trailer and two little kids.

They replaced a missing black tank rod within 3 business days for a reasonable price. They could not order the part so he fabricated one for me. Great service.
Got me back on the road!

I had taken my campervan for waste valve replacement few weeks ago. Reasonable price for the parts and service. Brent is a great guy to deal with and was able to deliver the vehicle on time as committed even though it looked like they were having some other urgent issues to deal with. Good experience.

Had an urgent wheel bearing/brake issue while transiting through Calgary. Their staff was quick, thorough, friendly and above all, very professional. Can’t say enough about how helpful these guys are. Shop was stocked with plenty of helpful items and they even gave great recommendations on local shopping options. Couldn’t be happier with my experience despite the circumstances of breaking down. Thanks guys!

Super awesome and informative place, it's my go-to for help with my older camper! Highly recommended!

I liked it there until I checked the price of the water valve online when I got home. $34 on Amazon and $96 at Hobo. Rich Hobo. I guess I should have checked online first. Whateva.

Great prices, friendly service and great workmanship on anything I have had repaired.
I have been dealing with these guys for more than 10 years

Always been helpful, and usually has what I need for my RV. YES the Amazone is usually cheaper, but they are vampires and you never know what is going to be delivered (I've been an Amazon vendor - terrible experience). Support your local business, they have the inventory and expertise, and expertise you can't buy on Amazone.

Been here 2 times within a month and Brent was extremely helpful.repairing a Weld on a locking bar and installing new trailer lights better than were installed from the factory.

He dropped everything and went right to work due to the urgent nature of working on my work trailer which I cant leave to be repaired.

Thanks again so much

These guys are great to deal with. I remember my Dad going there to get something at least 30 years ago. I also had a great experience with these guys after my winterization didn't go as planned and needed a hot water tank for my new toy hauler. I recommend, and will keep going to them.

The best repair shop in Calgary, they also have a nice selection of parts at the front end, as I was waiting to settle up on some repairs they did for me I noticed that the staff was very helpful with the people ahead of me, they actually saved them money by not selling them something that they thought they needed and got them what they actually needed and then gave them a seiners discount. I was so impressed with the way I was treated and the others ahead of me I couldn't wait the leave a review, Thanks Hobo for your great service and I'm referring all my family and friends to your business.

I always felt intimidated going in here to have my trailer serviced (I've had 3-5 services done here including having wheel bearings repacked and a brake controller installed). As a tent trailer noob, I don't really know much about the ins and outs of trailers. The staff at HCC were often condescending to me- I don't think they meant to be, but I felt intimidated.

I hired them to wire up my car with a brake controller and to receive the trailer. They attached everything to the hitch mount at the back and underside of the vehicle. Cost was about $550. Fast forward 2 years and the wiring was totally corroded from Calgary winters and salt on the roads. I went back to HCC to inquire about fixing it and they informed me that whoever installed the wiring like that didn't do it the preferred way, the way it should have been done! (it was them). They said I must have been the one who asked to have the wiring installed on the outside of the car. (remember when I said I'm a trailer noob?) I would never have even thought to ask to have this done.

They wanted to charge me $200 to fix it- basically they would pull the wires through and store them in the trunk so when we want to tow, we basically just plug in, and shut the trunk on the wires. This would protect the wires from the harsh winter conditions because they'd be stored inside the car (they said this was the preferred way). I asked if there was any discount that could be applied to the service, seeing as it's their own workmanship they would be fixing, but the lady just looked at me and said no, with a little smirk (did they think it was funny that I was asking? That's how you make customers feel intimidated). I was pretty mad and disappointed that HCC wouldn't stand by their own work (I didn't show my anger and I wasn't rude in the least). Why didn't they just install it the preferred way the first time? I made an appointment to have it fixed, but later cancelled it- to which the lady was very dismissive on the phone about. She just said, ok. Bye!

Luckily I have a super-handy friend who fixed it for me in about 45 minutes. Cost was $6 for a plug and I took him out to one of our local breweries to say thanks (Citizen is awesome!)

I am a huge supporter of local businesses (this one is in my neighbourhood), but I don't think I can go back there now. Seeing as they tried to blame me for the problem, I feel taken advantage of, and I feel that HCC doesn't stand by their work. Sad and disappointed.
