Holiday Inn Lethbridge, an IHG Hotel

Renovations ongoing with "pardon the mess" signs everywhere. No complementary breakfast means you have to pay $$$ to have brekky at Tony Romas rib joint next door. We had to dine elsewhere.

Holiday inn I’d say is usually about 3 stars. This one is low three stars right now. One thing to have your walls be under construction for over 3 months, another for my chair in my room to be a nonfunctional mess of stinky peeling pleather

All of the employees were efficient and courteous. The front desk worker, Adam, was especially welcoming.
The room was spotless, but the bathroom light was something out of a horror movie. It did turn on, but with an odd sound and some flickering. The armchair in the bedroom was not very comfortable. Otherwise, a pleasant room. The beds were good, and there were plenty of lighting options.
The thing that I especially appreciated about this hotel was the waterslides. For years, I've been eyeing them up while passing through lethbridge. Let me tell you; they're a great time. Even for adults.

Their water park is pretty epic for being a hotel! This is definitely our go-to place to stay in Lethbridge.

Plus the room was nice and staff was very friendly and professional.

A heads up. The water slides are great. But only open after 5pm week days. Life gaurd not on duty until then. Pool itself open around 10am.

They are under construction which I get, things happen. Hot water was shut off. It's happened more then once. Shower was definitely on the cool side for a few days.

The way I saw advertise online. Showed breakfast included. Which would reflect the room price. Not so. They do offer breakfast. $15 per person. But also advertise in the hotel lunch and dinner $ should you want to go to the Toni Romma's Ribs attached to the hotel.

I can make due with a lot. But with this being my vacation time with little people. Didn't go over that good. So do your homework when finding family spots.

Pool was very nice, only thing really needed is breakfast. Tony Romas offers breakfast but didn't have time to sit and wait for breakfast so a nice simple breakfast in the lobby would be a great touch. Stayed for work and the staff was very nice and helpful. TVs are a bit outdated but for the time i was there it wasn't a bother. Also i would avoid the rooms facing mayor magrath only because the car noise was a touch loud in the night. But the food from Tony Romas did not disappoint, got some appetizers highly recommend the spinach dip and kickin shrimp.

The hotel was clean even though they were renovating it, tvs need to be bigger they are tiny. However the pool was very fun until 2 of us hurt ourselves going down the slides. My son walked his off and is fine, however I am still not able to walk on my foot 2 weeks later and Dr. Says another 4-7 weeks. The pool needs to be deeper by the slides. I went down so fast it threw me into the bottom banging my foot into the bottom of pool. Use caution.

Our stay was wonderful at this location. Rooms were super clean and comfortable. The employees went above and beyond our expectations. Adam the guy at front desk and Katherine the life guard lady were really kind, took good care of us. There pool and water slides are perfect to have a fun time with family. House keeping staff also did an amazing job with our rooms for the 2 nights we stayed. We would definitely love to come back and stay at this location.

We found bloody sheets on one of our beds after sleeping the first night of a two night stay. They came right away to change them once they were told about the situation.however they only have me A10% discount and tried to only give me points to use for a possible future visit as I'm not sure I'd like to even stay here again ever?

Check your bedding before you get in is what I've learned.

Jennifer was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Hotel and pool need updating (which I think they are in the process of) rooms were very old and lights flickered every time you turned them on. TVs were very small with a poor picture. You had to pay 10$/hour to rent a tube for the water slide which was a bit ridiculous. Those are the only reasons I didn’t give it a 5 star.

The price of the tubes at the pool is Ridiculous especially when you're a guest at the hotel.

This place is under renovation and they definitely don't tell you that till you arrive. Then, the room we got, the carpet had massive yellow stains, and the jacuzzi tub was definitely not cleaned. Can't believe I got charged 30$ pet fee for a room that was gross.

Didn't sleep super well because the AC was super loud and the hotel gave off creepy vibes but the people working were friendly. The elevator broke the morning I left which did suck as my luggage was heavy going down stairs

My family and I loved our stay at this hotel during Easter weekend. The rooms are mediocre. However, we had excellent service at the front desk. The pool was not running, but they did call before our stay to let us know and offered vouchers for the ymca pool. They worked hard and got the pool up and running by the afternoon the next day and sent a letter out to inform the guests, which was great. They even put Easter baskets by each room Sunday morning to thank us for staying there during Easter.

Not worth it for public swimming. This pool has gone seriously downhill I was really surprised. I haven’t been here for years and yikes. First of all it was 40$ for two adults and two kids and we were not allowed any pool tubes because we didn’t want to pay extra on top of that yet. There used to be tons of tubes and anyone could just grab one whenever they wanted. Second the hot tub was closed for the reason that it’s just is. This is what the front desk told us… it had a big tarp around it and didn’t look like it would be operating anytime in the near future. Third the lights at the top of the waterside telling you when it’s safe to go do not work. You’re just supposed to wait 30 seconds and hope that somebody doesn’t get to the top of the stairs the second you go down and trample you at the bottom. Which did happen. Not really safe. Although the slides themselves are wonderful and it’s very nice you can take your kids down with you. That part we really enjoyed. Which is why I am giving 2 stars. As well as the little kids area was nice. Forth the showers in the change room are colder than ice and do not warm up. So that’s great for getting small kids showered. The water in the bathroom taps got warm but not the showers. I had to wash my kids hair in the bathroom sink. Lastly the lockers in the change room are falling apart. The handles kept falling out every time I tried to open the doors… so all in all I don’t think we will be back. I was hoping to book a birthday party here in a couple of months but I think I’ll pass on that. Unfortunately.

The biggest draw is the large pool. Big watersides and a warm wave pool. Kids slash park is a plus too.
