If you enjoy peace and quiet, avoid this place at all cost. Walls are paper thin, you can literally hear your neighbours conversations word for word. Management was also brutal, the lady who runs the building is one of the most unpleasant people I’ve ever dealt with. When we told them we were moving out we were bombarded with notices of entry EVERY SINGLE DAY until the day we moved out. The building was also in poor condition, I got stuck in the elevator for hours on multiple occasions. Do yourself a favour and choose somewhere else to live.

It's been a month since we moved into this cozy village, Building C. We have had a shortened move-in period. Hello to the Holly Acres managers, Sandra and Palchy, how are you doing, my dears? To their credit, they are doing a great job. The apartment renovation was done ahead of schedule. Issues were resolved instantly. That is important. The building is not new, but it looks well maintained. We read the reviews before we moved in. What can I say? As many people as there are opinions. I'll write what I didn't see. I didn't see any cockroaches, bedbugs, dirt. The neighbors are friendly. Yes, the community is pet friendly. My family likes that the necessary stores and establishments are close by. And considering we don't have a car yet, that's just great. That's all for now.

Terrible rude management. Don’t live here if you value your mental health, sleep, or quiet. When I went to move out they gave me nothing but grief. Wouldn’t tell me when they were doing walkthroughs when I asked for specific time frames. They left notices saying they would enter any time during the day every day of the week. Tried telling the office I needed time frames cause I work from home and take meetings at home and they laughed at me and ignored me while I sat in front of them in their office trying to explain why I needed more realistic notice. They threatened to make me pay an extra months rent because I asked for specific time slots when showings were booked (illegal). When they wouldn’t listen to me I tried showing them the RTA to explain why they had to and to explain that their notices were illegal according to the Alberta rental tenancy agreement and they laughed at me. Had to get the RTA dispute line and head office involved just to get told when showings were actually scheduled. This on top of loud neighbours, dirty hallways, and notices for entering our apartment that they would never show up for.

Terrible experience with management, they refused to fix the window in my room (as per contract) and I ended up having to foot the bill myself or freeze in the -30 winter temperatures. Entirely unsatisfied with the experience, and the nail on the coffin was when they decided to raise the rent without notice. Avoid.
