Very unwelcoming associates at Chanel cosmetics etc. Very poor customer services. Maybe they will lose their job soon. Normally when I go there, no customers. No wonder why that explains a lot. (Nowadays I go to shoppers beaute).
Except for there’s a lady who is at Dior counter (HR) who manages and she was extremely helpful and very attentive. She made my day.

Staff is zoned out and I came back to location 3 times trying to find a purse they had in stock. One girl in the shoe department found it and wife has never been happier so I’ll give that 5 stars.

Very poor customer service in the women’s shoe section. Went in with the intention to purchase prada loafers and was treated very poorly and was dismissed when I asked for help.

This store is an experience. So many high end brands that you won’t see anywhere else in the city. The layout is curated by brand rather than theme (for the most part) and it will introduce you to the most hip and current fashion trends out there. Giving it a 4 star only because it is a store that may not speak to all…. Or at least not all credit cards

Awesome place to shop, me and my best friend come to holtz everytime we are in Calgary. We buy alot of great new season fashion

Writing this on behalf of my sister who had a wonderful experience purchasing her sun glasses today. Carla was so kind and helpful. It was so nice to have interacted with her! Exceptional customer service! Thank you Carla!

Salesperson at the Giorgio Armani makeup booth was so helpful. She suggested the most beautiful concealer for me that matches my skin tone perfectly. Even gave me a few options between other brands even though she was positioned at the Armani booth. So happy with my purchase and the service.

Nice store but the prices make me nauseous. I walked in just check it out.looked at a pair of running shoes.looked at the price tag. $1090.00 then immediately walked out.don't recommend this place unless you have more money than brains.

Terrible experience. Bought a winter jacket, didn't like it, went back to return it the NEXT DAY, and they would not let me because I had 'worn' it? Totally unreasonable as it was actually in a better condition than I had bought it in as I had to clap the dust off

I’m so disappointed with moncler the sales representative Scott is by far the rudest rep I have ever dealt with honestly if your that upset for whatever reason don’t come to work I’m trying to spend money and you made me think twice about my purchase with your unwelcoming behavior and one word answers gladly took my business to Harry Rosen if I could give 0 starts I would.

I went into Holt on Tuesday with my girlfriends. My friend was buying her first pair of designed heels to celebrate her business anniversary. We were in their filming our experience as we are content creators. When we first arrived there were two sales associates in the shoe department staring us down. Once we started browsing the shoe department it was as if we were invisible. No one greeted us or offered to help us. BUT YOU MADE SURE TO HAVE A GENTLEMAN COME FROM THE BACK TO TELL US TO STOP RECORDING. Thank you ANNA for coming in on your day off to assist us with the Dior Slingback transaction. I will never work another SA in the shoe department. I am writing this review to share that this happens to me every time I visit holt with the exception of my first visit 6 years ago. Based on the reviews I can see this happens often.

Excellent customer service from Dragana. She ordered in a product from NY and helped me with the entire process and shipped it to my house in Edmonton. She went above and beyond from the very beginning and was also very patient with my decision making process. Thank you Dragana!

Holt Renfrew is a world class store in CORE Calgary. A place to connect to latest fashion world and icon brands.

Parked at their parkade, just need to take the elevator up and you're there. Everyone was friendly and helpful especially Rory. They made sure to validate the parking ticket so leaving the parkade was a hassle free process.

Has wide variety of options. Looking for high end designer brands in Calgary? Holt Renfrew is your plug. Pricey as expected.

Always a joy to shop at Holt Renfrew. Rav, our salesperson was amazing, super friendly, fun and very helpful.

Holt Renfrew carries higher end products like Nordstrom. However, they have even more high end range than Nordstrom so they fill a niche market. Given their location in Downtown Calgary, they certainly are in the right location.

Within their store, there are specialty stores such as Hermès, Chanel, Celine, Prada, Burberry, etc. If you are in search of high end handbags, this is the place to start.

Service-wise, they are polite and helpful. We have never had a bad experience here. Sales are decent and happens several times a year.

Parking is not an issue if you come after 4 pm or on the weekend as the Core Shopping Centre provide free 3-hour parking underground.

I had a great experience at Chanel’s new stand alone boutique, located in holt renfrew in Calgary. Unfortunately Edmonton doesn’t have one so it’s hard to establish a relationship with a good SA, since I’m not shopping in there personally a lot. Luckily for me, I was helped by Ginger, who was extremely nice and helpful. She actually tried to help look for items that I was interested in, as opposed to just saying no like most SA’s I’ve dealt with in the past. I really wanted a pink coco handle but they didn’t have anything. As I left, she gave me her contact and said I could msg her for future help. This chanel runs on a waitlist and lottery system for new items. It is very hard to get new seasonal pieces due to this. However, I was so ecstatic when my SA msged me that I had gotten the new coco handle in pink! I’m sure I bombarded her with lots of messages about items I was searching for, and she never made me feel as if I was bothering her. She was amazing to work with? I’ve gone to many Chanel stores around the world and this experience was definitely a positive one. If your looking for a great SA here, check her out

Purchased a pair of Loub boots for my wife while she was travelling. The SA was aware that she wouldn’t be back to for a bit to try them on and said not to worry, we could exchange them if they didn’t fit. They were too small and called the SA to exchange. Turns out we were a couple days past the return date and they could not help me anymore. Thanks for screwing us! I’ll go out of my way to make sure all of my purchases are done outside of Holt

A week ago, i went to holt renfrew. Thre was a security girl on the main door with short hair and brown girl. She was buzy on phone, i asked her twice a time that where is chanal she didn't replied at first because she was busy in her phone and when i asked second time then she was rude.i suggest they need to change security because that happened with my close friend too.

Very nice merchandise. Not for the average spend-thrift. High end, high quality stuff, and brand names to make your head spin. Very professional staff, and great deals for the items they have on sale.

Great selection of designer goods and awesome customer service. I really love shopping at holts because of the excellent shopping experience I get every time. They also have great sales both online and in store!

Beauty advisor Joanna Hanna is the one of the best customer service i have ever experience! She is so nice and very helpful.she made my shopping so easy.

This store only care the sales not the service or supports. Management is not professional (yes maybe make $ to the pocket but not customer service). Good luck to be the store customers!

In such a small city, to keep a mid to high class department store, we can't ask too much, and I have already felt that they are try hard, and I hope everyone can more support the local business more.

Great items which I was seriously interested in buying. However, I walked in wearing a t-shirt and shorts and was looked at like I was a criminal. I was also wearing a backpack which I can understand may look suspicious, but I was exploring the Downtown for the day and I needed to bring some stuff with me. I'm not poorly groomed or anything, and I felt the clothes/accessories I was wearing were decent. I didn't have a problem with any other store I visited that day. Anyways, they followed me around and when I was going up the escalator, I even noticed two sales associates on the top floor pointing at me and talking on their radios. Very unsettling to be honest. I'll spend my money at Nordstrom.

Beautifully curated store, however the selection isn't as great as their Toronto and Vancouver boutiques - which is no problem, they can typically order for you anyway! It would just be nice to see some of these items in person first. If you're shopping for shoes, ask for Ebru! She was so kind and very helpful.

Worst service ever. The salespeople are rude. Long blond older woman in shoe department. Tried on some shoes which was not the color I wanted. Told her I would think about it. She responded: OK, whatever! Definitely wouldn’t give her the commission!

Painfully middle of the road selection of men's clothing and consistently bad customer service on this floor. There is *one* great team member in casual menswear who I generally deal with, otherwise it is like pulling teeth to get anyone else to even acknowledge you-regardless of how you're dressed. The HR website is pretty outdated and virtually useless though at least the selection is expanded beyond Stone Island, Paul Smith and CDG Play. Additionally, if you shop online you don't have to deal with staff that are constantly glued to their phones, no smile and even worse avoiding eye contact (mens shoe department is the worst for this in my experience).

Special mention goes out to the woman who works the ladies eyewear section on the main floor and the gentleman who typically handles online returns as they are both very helpful and always lovely to deal with.

Great place stop shop with friendly staff. They do need better store arrangement though, I had to try on shoes standing up cuz the area I was in had no chairs. It makes no sense for a high class department like this

So disappointed in the way this Holts is ran. Since nothing was open for a while there I had to order a Gucci belt online which was roughly 500$. I knew exactly which one I wanted to order. It did not state it was a different size than the picture on their website but sure enough when I got it in the mail is was a completely different size and was not the same as the picture. Super disappointing and when I called to see what I did wrong or how I could've prevented this no one had an answer or a resolution.pretty disappointing.guess I'm keeping this belt that looks like its for a 3 year old.id take that over having to go in and deal with one of the many rude, depressing women in they have working in the store.

I have been a Holt shopper for many years, however at times I have a love/hate relationship with them. I am a shopaholic and this place is dangerous for me. It's my "crack".

Since the renovation Holt's is A LOT nicer, bigger and I find it more organized!

I must say I do love the LV, Chanel and Hermes boutiques the best. I don't often buy in them, but a girl can dream, right.

I find the staff is hit and miss. Just depends which area you're in. The shoe area is the best since honestly they have the nicest and most attentive staff in that section.not to mention a great selection of shoes!

I like to venture here on the weekends since parking is free or pretty close to it. If you make a purchase, get your parking stamped and its free. If you don't, I believe it's a couple dollars for 2 hours of parking.

All in all Holt's has been around a long time and glad they are still in the core.

Too many homeless people walking around the food court asking for receipts and reaching in the wishing pond grabbing change. Why have security walking around when they do nothing about it? Last time I come here even though the shopping experience and designer options are amazing the bums really turn me off this place.

Beautiful store full of wonderful and beautiful things. The staff is incredible: friendly and attentive. The makeup and perfume department is outstanding.

I enjoy shopping here.it is organized clean and staffs are there when needed. Staff made ne comfy when im browsing and are’nt pushy or following you around, they let you enjoy the experience. Love the location its convenient. Store is not as big as compare to the one in vancouver but it is as modern and has the major brand and they even help me order one online as my size is not available in store.

This review is for Cassandra. She is amazing! She gave me honest advice today which saved me from making a mistake. She helped me put together the most amazing outfits. She stayed in my budget while being totally polite about it. I love my new look! Thank you.

Very under stocked, even for the most popular and common designers. Came here for Boxing Day but unfortunately left empty handed as the only pair of shoes I liked was scuffed (the shoe that was on display had an actual indent in it, a pair of Chloe tie-up boots) and there were no additional new pairs in the back. It would have been proper if the sales associate was more proactive and maybe offered an additional discount since the item was damaged and not in brand new condition.

They are lacking stores in this Holts. It’s a real let down, they hardly have any options for bags or specific designers. I wasn’t happy at all with my visit, I expected to be able to actually shop. Plus not a single person spoke to me

In a league of their own & on par with the top luxury retailers in the world. Canada’s designer customer have an awesome resource.
