Purchased a new fridge online and it was sent to this location. After confirming delivery for a Saturday, received a confirmation e-mail that it was Thursday (issue 1). Repeated phone calls and e-mails got me nowhere. Finally, three days later they confirmed it was Saturday and that they would swing the doors form right to left (issue 2). Delivery company, "RXO", showed up 45 mins late (issue 3). They refused to wear booties, and then proceeded to get mud and dirt around our house (issue 4). When asking them about swinging the doors, I was told that they only deliver and don't do that. When I then said I would not accept the new fridge, they spent several minutes talking with their manager and then proceeded to swing the doors (issue 5). It was clear that they had little to no experience as they first concluded that hinge was missing, when in fact the manual states that you simply flip the hinge around that is already on the door (issue 6). Three guys then spent 25 mins, never looking at the manual, with power tools (which the manual and good sense says not to use to avoid damaging the screws) to flip the doors. When they finished they put the fridge in place and left. When we tried to open the lower door, it clicked and shifted. (big issue 7). A call to Rona indicated the delivery company was closed and that someone would come and fix it next week. Given what I saw, I had no confidence that they would fix it, and I didn't want to have to get on my hands and knees and wash my floors again, so I decided to look at it myself. I removed all of the doors and discovered that they had not put in the plastic bearing on the lower door (issue 8). So in the end, terrible job all around and I had to do the doors myself anyway. No plans to get another appliance from Rona.ever. Two stars only because they actually took away our old fridge and delivered our new fridge without any damage.

I was there a week ago to get an estimate for a floor renovation project and Julian in the flooring department was very knowledable, helpful and accomodating and showed me several options. I was able to save over 1K on al my flooring needs. High five to Julian!

Very helpful team and a very helpful Individual at the Electronic section was there to buy the Over the range microwave and he helped tremendously.
That's why I go to rona they take pain and give u good advise.

They have false advertising for Hot water tanks, its says a different price on web site and different price at store, when i confronted worker, he said they donated the tanks, disgusting1

Spoke with the Pro Deck and one of the staff over the phone and was told the roof shingles I was wanting to purchase at the volume I wanted could be purchased at $31.99 per bundle. So that was what we based our roof budget around old to get there and be told $38 was the lowest they could go and they wouldn’t honour the price they gave over the phone.

Sales Associate Son is the sole recipient of my 5 stars. He went above and beyond to help me find what I need and he even located something that when I phoned they had told me they didn't have. He made my trip and day that much better with all his help!

Each and every house hold items, vegetables, fruits etc is available under one roof but they should improve the quality of the fruits and vegetables is simply average as well as the rates are bit high.

I went in for some paint and to see if I could replace the a garage door opener. I was asking a lot of questions to one worker and he was on the ball! Knew how well it worked, what isle and how much I’ll need. Very nice honest guy that was working hard. I asked about the garage door opener and he sent me to a different department where someone was supposed to be. After waiting for 15 mins and after he was called twice just t tell me, he didn’t have it. Couldn’t do anything for me. I went back to the gentleman I was working with before and he took a look and solved the problem without buying more.

Worst customer service experience today. According to KATE, you must call warranty support before any exchanges. She cried crocodile tears and followed me into the parking lot towards my car after I left the store I told her she was lying and didn’t have the return policy on hand. I had to drive across town for an exchange. Employee is crazy.

Received excellent customer service from “SON” at the wood cutting section of Sunridge Rona. Very patient and helpful. Did our cutting job with a smile on his face. He even fixed the machine that was giving trouble to cut properly.
He deserves to be employee of the month. Wish him all the best!

Went to this location this morning since we needed a new dishwasher. My wife and I managed to find the apliance area and the selection of dishwashers we spent about 20- 30 minutes browsing the dishwashers and were never once greated by a staff member and never saw a staff member working in the apliance area. At this point we had found the dishwasher we wanted so we headed to customer service and asked if we could pay for the dishwasher we wanted and set up delivery. The lady at customer service said to find someone working in paint to help us?

So we went to the paint department and there was no one there. But we did see someone in kitchens so we asked if she could help. She walked us back to appliances and asked a random lady who was no there if she could help us. She said she couldn't. At this point I said " can I not just show customer service a picture of the one I want and pay and set up delivery with them? " These ladies said they didn't know why not. So we went back to customer service where we were informed we could only do this at apliances and they would page someone there for us. So we went back to apliances and waited another 10min and no one ever showed up. So we left and went to lowes.

45 min at rona = no dishwash and allot of frustration.

30 min at lowes = better deal on the dishwasher we wanted, signed up for a credit, and set up delivery for Thursday (2days after purchase)

Don't waste you time with this place. There are far better options out there.

Not a big fan of this Rona. You cannot find help here. If I could give 0 for customer service I will. I went there walk around for half an hour and not a single person I could find to help me in the lumber yard. A person driving the forklift has no spotter no concern about customer safety and drove by me without slowing down.

Excellent store! The staff is really helpful especially their customer service desk. They are very helpful and knowledgeable! I would recommend this store and location! I had a bathroom tile job and was able to quickly collect all the materials I needed for a professional job with the help of their amazing floor staff!

Remember how good Beaver lumber and Revelstoke used to be? Great decent hardware stores with knowledgeable people who had worked there for a long time and knew you and could help with anything? It wasn't that long ago. Then Beaver disappeared, and Revelstoke got spooked and thought they needed to go big to survive. This is one of the last of these stores. Then Rona came along and bought them and alot of other medium sized home chains, and then bought and ruined Totem. You couldn't get service if you set yourself on fire in the plumbing aisle. Then Lowe's bought them and has closed most of these as they don't fit their American model. Now the last of these feel like they are lost in space, and aren't a Lowe's but rely aren't a Rona anymore either. Service people are easier to find but they don't know anything, can't find anything and have no idea what you are talking about much of the time if you ask even a half technical question. Prices are high, and brands not so much. For instance tons of cushions for patio chairs but all just Chinese junk, no sun protection, no actual branded Sunbrella. Many of their BBQs are last year's models and the paint I wanted showed they had it in stock but much of it was already tinted some random color. They had a number of products on clearout but prices still higher than elsewhere. I long for just one Revelstoke or Totem or for the revival of Beaver Lumber. I am not sure who these places are for.

Floor Staff rock - show me what they have - suggest where to go if they don't have it - and the yard is clean and organized (for contractors.good step in the right direction).

*Contract sales seemed to pick up - the guy there before was always smoking out front - but it looks like someone more pro is there now - so we're going back.very cool

Arrived at the store to pick up my online order and called the store to have it brought out for curbside pickup at 8pm. Lady took my order number and told me to have my ID ready and they would be out in a few mins. 30 mins later still nothing. I called the store back and it then too another 10 mins for them to bring out the order. Ridiculous amount of wait time to pick up something not during peak hours.

I then went in to pick up some plumbing supplies but was not sure where they were, I reach the plumbing area and asked an employee if he worked in this area and his response was "I am standing here, aren't I". Honestly did not know how to respond. Needless to say I will avoid this store.

Sorry Rona, but you are recommending your customer Froud product under name of Appliances protection plan (Comerco). Please change your contract with any another company otherwise it will affect Rona's Reputation. Don't spend your hard-earned money on this kind of spam; we think we will be worry-free after buying this kind of protection plan, but no.

Since February 2021, the two burners were not working, and I gave a call to the protection plan providers. A technician came in on March 11,2021, to have a look on the
range and he mentioned that he will order the parts and come later to fix it. I waited until
April 2021 to hear from Rona that when the technician will come and fix it but no one
called or showed up.
In line to this, I decided to give a follow-up to the plan protection provider as to when we
can have our range fixed. Since April 2021, I have made 12-15 phone calls to the protection provider, and every time I have felt that I am being harassed by them, all the
agents have provided misleading or different information during calls and agreed to return the calls after a day or so and actually they never gave a callback. As to date, I
have not received any call to make an appointment so that I can have my range fixed.
I have bought several products from Rona in the past and have had confidence in the
products and customer service, however this bad experience has shaken me to give it a
second thought. After spending many days n hours with Comerco and Rona they booked 20 july for fix but yesterday again i got the call n again same script words they said, they have product but their technician is busy, rebook it.but i refuse to again rebook after five months.
They have a simple work plan.
They delay you
Try to find parts even take months
always your call on waiting hours
unprofessional staff
no timeline if they fail to fix
They are not provide a new one or any compensation.

Now my request to customers like me, please go to any another store or provider.don't mess up your life with comerco.

I just had the most degrading experience I have ever had at a Hardwear store ever. I went in with two friends to find replacement bolts for some fan blades to go back on the light fixtures. One of the male employees approached us to ask if we need help, I explained what we where looking for, even showing the example bolt I brought with us. The male employee presented a bolt that would have not worked because the head was to wide to fit, as there is a seat for the bolt. The employee ignored what I told him, and turned to my male friend to speak to him about it. My male friend has not even seen this fan or blade, but the male employee insisted on talking to my male friend only and ignored me the rest of the time. This is completely unacceptable! I will NOT be returning to this location again if your male employees are going to treat women in such ways.

I went here a few days ago to look at plants, selction was good. A lot on sale. Staff however seemed oblivious to that fact. The cashier acted like she didn't want to be there, and was not helpful at all when multiple plants were the wrong price. She didn't offer a price check and she made a face when I told her I didn't want them. I checked my receipt when I got to the car, and one of the plants I did buy was DOUBLE the listed price. The return guy at customer service was very helpful, and efficient with the refund.

Great prices and selection, new stuff in including dwarf bananas that I have been really wanting to try. Honestly I prefer to get my plants here than at another garden centre closer to me.

Don't bother with installation here. There were multiple signs on the laminate flooring advertising 50% off installation if I bought a certain brand. I had to pay a $55 nonrefundable fee to get the quote for it but I thought it would be worth it for that kind of discount. The quote ended up being more than double the highest quote by other installers even with 50% off. I feel like they know their installer charges a ton and just collects the $55 fee.

Thanks for rona nice erhics. I parked at the designated lane with yellow lines aside and a pallet of soli was nearby. No signs that "no parking" was around whatsoever. The forklift operator put a another pallet just behind my car to block me and to teach me not to stand on his way. Apparently he came from another country where this customer treatment us fully acceptable. Thank you Rona for excellent training of your employees. I just leave this rewiev in here until you fire this nice gentlemen.

Tired to buy individual wall tiles, cashier wasn't able to scan it. She called 3 times for someone to help over loud speaker. No one came. So I left without what I came there for. Kind of frustrating.

I was using the curbside pickup and had purchased some boxes and packing tape. When the employee came out all he had was the tape and had said everything was there. When I asked him where my boxes were he said all the items were in the bag. I'm just a little disappointed he didn't check the items first before he brought them out.

Ordered wood to build a fence, two days late on delivery. Every time I called them for two days they said it’s on the way. So the people I hired to build my fence I had to pay for two days to do nothing. Rona just kept lying to me about it being on the way. Poor poor service.

Called customer service to see if they had a specific tree as I was driving from out of town. Customer service person said there was one and she would put it on hold for me and instructs me to go to the customer service counter when I am in the store. I get there and was told their system doesn't update regularly and they didn't have it. Not happy with their service.

I had dealt with a lovely lady named Dana. I was purchasing a closet door. She went through different styles and everything we needed.

That model we choose was back ordered for a couple months and due to covid 19.

For making us wait she gave us free shipping. And I didn't ask for it. Amazing person to work with and makes you feel like part of the team.

Straight up this is the best home and garden center in the city! Merchandise actually in stock, lots of options and pricing in all departments, friendly customer service, welcoming atmosphere, and overall pleasant experience; makes this location the best amongst them all. Really wish their stores in the south didn’t close, but atleast I still have the Sundridge location! I’ll come all the way to the NE from SW Shawnessy, over going to the Home Depot near me, so to have a pleasant shopping experience. That’s how good this store is!

I frequent this store a lot for home repairs and supplies. Just don't look for help because it's really hard to find someone can give any advice. I have learned to just find the things I need and get out.

Tried to return a laser level 3 times! First two attempts they blamed the covid and said they cant take it back. Now I tried a third time and they blame me because I should have returned it sooner.

I love the staff here. And I love the fact that I can bring my dig inside the store to shop with me and all the staff love him.
A few months ago, I dropped and kicked my FOB for my car in the 1st aisle, 2nd row but didn't realize it. After searching the store for it for 1.5 hours I decided to leave my business card at Customer Service with Juliette and asked her to call me if someone turns it in. So I get in my employees truck who came to get me and we are just pulling out of the Contractors parking lot. Juliette comes running out with my FOB! I will always be thankful when I see her.
Also, Karen in Kitchen and Bath is a absolute pleasure to work with, she is knowledge, she will offer recommendations of which product to buy and why plus she gets staff to help lickety split!
I really have not had a bad experience here over the last 6 months getting my supplies here for my big remo in this area.

Although I’m able to find most of what I’m looking for on my own, most of the customer service isn’t the greatest. My last visit, I wait patiently for the service desk to finish a phone call with a customer; he ended the call and just walked away from me. I wasn’t standing there for my own enjoyment. This is after making calls to the store to just inquire about a product and being bounced around departments, only to be hung up on. Luckily I was just in the area to just look myself. I only go to this one for the size of the store and larger amount of product accessibility but not the first Rona I would go to myself.

Absolutely amazing service! They helped us find flooring we were looking for and apologized multiple times for our short wait and were generally wonderful. One of the guys was in training and he worked hard to help us get what we needed.

Disappointed. I've spent quite a bit $ in last 25 yrs, in Home Renos.
I want a lean to 1/2 Shed, in Acrylic, that attaches to side of Garage, or House.
They don't even carry this style.
I couldn't even order 1.
