Up until a year ago I was a frequent/long time customer growing up in the meadows since 2006. This place over the last few years has gone down hill, big time.

Rude staff, charge for every additional topping, inside facilities just don’t seem to be maintained/dirty. Do yourself a favour and drive 5 minutes away to Magma Donair where the owner actually works almost all the time it seems and really cares about the food being served.

Homestyle ain’t it anymore.

I found the donair at Home Style Donair & Subs to be somewhat lacking in flavor, despite the generous amount of meat. The toppings appeared to be past their prime, with brown lettuce. On the positive side, the price was fair, and the staff was friendly. However, I've had better donairs at other places in the city.

Not sure if it’s new owners or what but used to go there for a massive box of onion rings. Today went there and got a large onion rings. Get home and it’s like a regular size now and ordered a Mac attack Donair and got home 30
Mins away to find out they gave me a flaming Mac which has jalepenos and banana peppers and hot sauce. Can’t handle spicy so it had to be thrown out. Not impressed.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the best donair place I have ever tried, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience. The regular beef donair was absolutely amazing, with flavourful meat that left me craving more. But what truly stole the show was their donair poutine, topped with their sweet sauce and a touch of hot sauce for that perfect balance of flavors. Grabbed a couple of falafel's to go. Before my wife turned vegan we use to order the best donairs here. Loved them. But the falafel's are so good I forgot about the donairs. BTW the fries were tasty, how often does that happen?

I often go around trying different local places for a good Donair. I tried the sub here and asked for the meat to be crispy. It was served exactly as I wanted, and as if I would have done it myself! Just this will make it come back again!

Went for a DONAIR poutine. I spent 20 dollars on a stupid "DONAIR" poutine, but they wanted us to pay EXTRA for the DONAIR sauce on the DONAIR POUTINE!

This location was recommended by my wife's co-worker.
We had the following.
Large Mixed Donair, Reg Mixed Donair, Small Poutine, Small Fries & 2 Pop's.

Nothing fancy about this place but we will get into that in a little-bit.

Both donair's nothing special - the usual for the beef it's halal and very bland in flavor. The chicken nothing special but was a little flavor that gave a little kick. Non of it was crispy it was sitting in the warmer for whatever time I have no idea. Vegetables on the Donair's were ok nothing special.
The pitta bread was just out of the steamer and no flavor to it.

Wife's poutine was ok-ish - gravy was a little to salty fires noting special just crinkle cut frozen.

I do have to give them on my fries they reminded me of Burger Barron's Fires so for the fries on this note was 5 out of 5.

Dining in experience nothing special. But good note that they have napkins @ every table. That was impressive.

Also store needs a facelift looks very dungey not that welcoming cracks on the walls and ceiling tiles needs a cleaning or replaced.

Sorry but nothing special about this place.

Went there today to get a donair and as I opened the door, there was a lady cutting meat and then she wiped at her face which wasn't completely covered and continued to cut meat while she greeted me. I walked out. This was my go to place but that is disgusting to see. This was done during covid.

Disgusting woman still works here, walked out again. This just happened

Best place I go for donairs. Awesome staff, great rates. Wish they had curds and some more toppings but I don’t mind

Stopped in for a doniar on my way to work. First time I've been there. Got a large cheese donair combo and the doniar was one of the best I've had in years. If you love donairs tusi is definitely a place to try.
