I’m quite devastated and really stressed with what happen to my vehicle. I had the vehicle for about 6 years with only 44k kilometer and it just went dead. Engine sounds horrible. It’s Honda I thought it would last a long a while.

Beginning with Brawly the sales person friendly and professional and accommodating as we worked our way through the details of the vehicle and test drive to ensure I was comfortable with all the features. Susan skillfully completed the sale with the financial transaction, helpful with answering questions and information I needed.

Very poor experience with the service Department and staff. They lied to me when I bought my vehicle that the recalled item in report was taken care of. When in fact it was not. They also damaged my vehicle and didn't report it or notify me that the plastic under the hood was broken. I've emailed service manager with no reply. My salesman called me with my 1yr checkup after the sale. I told him all about how terrible the service was and how I had damage done. I was told they'd get back to me. I'm still waiting! I also brought my vehicle in to get the heater fixed. $550 later and a all good and clear report that the heater was fixed. Drove home and still have no floor heat in truck. I would not deal with these guys at all.

Bought my cherokee from there about 6 weeks ago.a dent was promised to be fixed on it.took car off the lot, a week later a couple more issues happened. 1 out of the 3 issues were fixed after returning 2 or 3x.my sister yesterday pointed out the dent, I didn't notice it up close but the way the sun was hitting it, yep still there along with squealing still in the front.

Edit: . My one issue that was fixed isn't really fixed, the problem has started again.

We were looking for a used first car for my daughter and worked with Cole. He was knowledgeable and practical about describing the features of the vehicle. Nice to deal with and not pushy. Very patient while we tried to compare various SUVs. Daughter decided on a unit and we went in to discuss the price and final details. We were presented with a sales sheet showing they tacked on $699 to the price for a security fee. Not something we were aware of previously. Something to do with a break in they had and had to install trackers on all the vehicles. I am sure the truth is for financing purposes and being able to repo if needed. We were paying cash for it, and I didn't like the idea of a tracker on my daughter's car. Next we tried talking price and working out what we thought was fair for that unit and year. They entertained the idea by asking what we wanted to pay. We set a price and the sales manager came back and said they had virtually no room on this and would maybe think about a $400 drop. Why waste time asking what we wanted to pay? We walked out and most definitely won't be looking back. My second unpleasant experience with GO and I will not be caught in their games ever again. That night we found a private sale with a family that was happy to negotiate and take our cash for an amazing little vehicle.

I would typically never leave a review for a car dealership, however, I felt that after the amazing service we experienced at this location, it is the least we could do.
We bought a 2nd hand vehicle here in April and not a week after driving it off the lot began to experience some issues. We soon discovered that it was no small fix that would cost us thousands. The Manager was very respectful, easy to talk to, he said he would make it right and then proceeded to go absolutely above and beyond to accommodate us. From start to finish, the service department (Amanda) communicated with us every week to keep us in step with where things were at and allow us to ask any questions. We can not express enough how much we appreciated the incredible customer service without having to fight for it! A huge thank you to James, Amanda and service staff for all your hard work. I am not sure I could go anywhere else now for a vehicle purchase.we will recommend to friends and family for sure!

If you want only the best and most arrogant and unhelpful salespeople for help with issues that arrise after sale. This is the place for you. Don't buy used from here. They're super great.till you walk out the door. Despite the nightmare I had before this at another local dealership with a total lemon, they at least were not arrogant A holes when dealing with the salesperson after the sale. I won't even get my oil changed here or any other service that arises.

Atrocious salesmen and painfully disingenuous service. Leslee and James in particular are manipulative and cunning. They take advantage of non-native English speakers to coerce them into handing over thousands, lie about the terms of the agreement when they want to get out, offer them thousands in hush money, and then only magically say that they're able to reverse some of the process (which was initially impossible, apparently) when they're faced with an AMVIC complaint and a lawyer. You'd think that human beings would have an ounce of shame for how they manipulate other equals, but alas, Honda Red Deer keeps bringing surprises.

I agree with Dylan L. My wife took the vehicle into Honda Red Deer this morning and received a not so good welcome from Amanda Allison, who was doing the receiving of the vehicles. My wife mentioned that we received a text from Honda saying there was a latch recall on it. However, Amanda was rude and did not even read the text and started to say because of the VIN, it did not apply to our vehicle. Then why send us a text! During the whole process she was rude and arrogant. She may know her job, but her way of dealing with customers is totally unacceptable. This is not the first time we have dealt with her and every time she is rude, but today my wife was really upset with her demeanor. She is the first contact a customer has with Honda Red Deer and it sure left a sour taste in our mouth. We called and talked to the service manager. Do you think anything will change?

I had just a small problem: my fob key's battery was low. I was trying my darnedest to open the fob key but just couldn't figure it out! What does an OCD person do? Take the fob key to the dealership and see if they can figure it out!
Not only did these guys open the fob key up, but they even replaced the battery for me! NO PROBLEM!

Updated: After contacting 2 different people in the service department about my issues, they initially seemed to be willing to fix the issue, however it has now been 2 months and they have ignored 5 emails from me and will not rectify the issue. I will not be servicing or buying vehicles here ever again.

Had a great experience with the sales person I dealt with after purchasing the car, however when I brought my car for its first service, was given a "complementary" rock chip repair on my windshield, which left my windshield with more damage than it started with, and never actually filled the chip in question. When I told them about it, they told me they wouldn't do anything about it, and to contact a different company to fix the problem (even though they said they would do it). Wasted about 30 minutes of my time and left more damage than it started with.

Visited this place after my 10 year old van battery light came on. We called and they agreed to see us immediately. We were traveling and worried about have no vehicle and we would be stuck in Red Deer. Honda saw the van, diagnosed and agreed to fix in short order. We were traveling with young kids and the speed and attention of Honda kept everyone calm. They also gave us a loaner and the van was ready the next day. Just superb customer service. They saved our vacation.

Disappointing experience.
I found a used vehicle on the Honda Red Deer website. The web ad said "NO EXTRA FEES. Our dealership does not have "documentation" and "admin" fees". When I called to inquire further they quoted me $575 more than the list price (?). I asked why. The sales person said there was an 'AMVIC LEVY' and an 'ANTI-THEFT TRANSFER'. Not technically a "Fee" but still certainly a hidden cost. The sales person did suggest Honda Red Deer could possibly cover these hidden costs but they would not consider discounting the vehicle any further. I did not buy from them because of this.

After the last 4 vehicles (2 of them were Honda Civics!) I've purchased through private sellers, I had the opportunity to purchase a newer vehicle through a dealership for the first time. Go Honda Red Deer really made this experience less stressful for my wife and I since we had decided one day we would shop for a good SUV/crossover after I finished my summer job that requires high mileage traveling.

After lots of research and homework done through AutoTrader and Consumer Reports, we decided on a 2015 Honda CR-V. We were so fortunate to have found a nice cranberry one, EX trim with just 83000 kms at this dealership!

They went through a 100-point inspection and $1500 worth of maintenance and repairs including a bumper replacement, otherwise it was a clean Carfax!

Breanna helped us out and went beyond our expectations as our salesperson! We were happy to have all the test drives including overnight and helping us feel comfortable with this newer vehicle. We were treated so well!

Helena Holliday was just fantastic as our finance manager. No pressure, no hidden fees, the bill of sale was simple enough to read without getting lost in the numbers. Very polite when we turned down offers. Very flamboyant and outgoing!

And I'm no stranger to Go Honda Red Deer, as I've been in the service department since I had my first '95 Honda Civic Si back in 2008! Now that I've seen the whole dealership front to back, my experience with them has been great! They should have won at least a medal in the Best of Red Deer readers digest awards! Honda's are reliable and a great company all-around.

I drove from Edmonton specifically to look at a car here after gaining some information. I worked with a five star salesman whom I would recommend (Breanna).

Unfortunately given prior commitments that the she had (which I was made aware of) I had the unfortunate circumstance of working with the GM to talk about the car and a deal. After discussing the car first with the GM, I then asked about the price. He outlined we would only discuss price if I was a serious buyer? Umm ok.

I can attest that as a professional and father of 2, taking time off to drive 1.5 hours to look at a car was not something taken lightly and I was certainly serious (evident by the drive and then next step to sit down as talk). I felt judged and disrespected to have a car deal start this way. Nonetheless, this led to no deal.

To outline how serious I was, within hours, I closed on a better car and at a better price to value. Maybe my experience was one off but it left a sour taste and I won’t be back nor would I recommend it.

This was the best experience I have had with a dealership. Allen was my sales rep and he was fantastic! Super friendly and professional and when I first looked at my car it had swirl marks and Allen is make sure that it's taken care of. Purchased a new pilot from Roman and Dan. Great customer service both guys went above and beyond. Highly recommend buying from either of these two guys. Took one star off as i had initially made a deal for both rust and undercoat protection, and after the fact the manager said one orthe other not both. Apparently a mis-communication between them. They gouged us pretty hard on the 2019 elantra trade in so I feel both included should have been fair. Make sure you triple check what they are including.

I have been to a couple of dealerships over the past 5-10 years to purchase vehicles and this has been, by far, my best experience. Bre Burton was the best salesperson I have ever come across and really was thorough about explaining everything and just being a delightful person to deal with. If I were looking for another Honda, I would absolutely buy from her in the future! Even Will Francis, the sales manager, was nice and respectful (we have come across some not so great sales managers during our time).

On the finance side I was completely blown away by how great Mikey Gundran was; he was thorough, explained everything so well, and is just a treasure. He laid out all the options and made great recommendations, but was not pushy at all and was genuinely interested in what would work for the customer. It was wonderful to go in and walk out the same day with a new vehicle as we had driven from Calgary to pick up a Honda Ridgeline in Red Deer (which we adore and is just an amazing vehicle)!

As a customer I felt valued and felt that we were treated so well (even when, afterwards, the registry in Calgary wasn’t the best). I will be recommending this dealership to everyone I know because the drive out to Red Deer was absolutely worth it to get the service we received. Keep up the great work!

The only reason Honda is getting these five stars is due to the manager.the Lady behind the service desk needs to learn customer service, She tried to charge me 155 dollars an hour to look at a command start that was installed through Honda and absolutely insisted she knew everything about the car. This is my 14th vehicle most of which I fix myself so that being said I don't know everything but I sure know enough to know something wasn't right. Her customer service skills are atrocious. The manager on the other hand was extremely pleasant to deal with and helped me out right away. I hope You guys hire more people like the man I just spoke with on the phone (I believe his name is Dan) because service wise I would never bring my car back knowing I'd have to deal with that type of ignorance from someone who should be putting customers first.

They took my wife's ridgeline. Which was running fine when it got there, caused a cylinder misfire and then sticker shocked her with 6k in repairs. There was nothing wrong with the car before it got there but somehow a misfire in 4 cylinders after it left.
I cleared the codes and none of them have come up again.
My wife agreed to the rear brakes. They were not straight forward about the charges. They said 200 over the phone and didn't give her a total.
Rear disk brakes and rotos ended up costing $850. And we got the truck back with an engine code.
Don't trust these guys.

If you hope to purchase a vehicle here and have the dealership avoid you at all costs this is the place for you. My experience purchasing a Landrover was smooth and I initially felt confident moving forward. This was until I had a single concern, where which finance and management did not returned 7 messages and 12 emails. Ironically, the concern was mild and have since reached out to Landover to remediate. But the "typical" response you are warned about where a dealership drops all contact after a sale has been my experience. As a result I would never recommend Red Deer Honda and will willing drive to Edmonton or Calgary for actual service.

I have the worst experience of my in this dealership, they are fraud, liers and sell the cars with the different viewing, the car they show are different and in real they are different. They wasted a week of my time and trying to sell me demo instead of new at same price new car.sales person Ejay as well as manager, both are rude and not the people donot have any work ethics.i will never recommend this dealership to my friend and the people reading this review.

First, let me say that I don't usually do endorsements mostly because they aren't deserved. In this case, I will make an exception because the opposite is true. I received first-class service from both the sales and service departments for work that was performed on my vehicle recently. I am from Calgary but got my vehicle serviced here because they are a "Go Card" authorized dealership. I thought it was going to be a painful process but not so. A big shout out to Daniel in sales and Amanda and Kendall in service for making my experience better than I could have ever expected.

I recommend talking to Rohan the salesman, as he explained everything really well. He didn’t put a single pressure on me and was so patient on answering every questions that I asked. Also, Mike the financial advisor, made sure that I am satisfied for the payments and gave me advices that really helped me throughout the process. Overall, I am very pleased and satisfied. Highly recommend!

Definitely a 5 star experience here at Handa RedDeer. Rohan in sales went above and beyond to make things happen and work with us and our busy schedule to get the deal done. Picked up and dropped off the vehicle from our home after the fact to get some extras done.
Mikey in finance is certainly the man you want to deal with to finish the deal. Professional staff and a great experience.
Highly recommend these guys.
