Hotel Blackfoot

Fenny is the best person to deal with if you are looking to book an event here at Hotel Blackfoot! She is amazing, she replies promptly to your email even if you probably have asked the same thing numerous times, she accommodates your requests (if possible) and she is very professional yet friendly! Two thumbs up!
Food is great, venue is very spacious, ambience is beautiful and the staff are all warm and nice! My only issue is that they brought back in the kitchen the leftover food 20 mins before the agreed time (3pm) but I guess it is what it is.
We stayed in one of the rooms during the event and it was spotless. The hot breakfast was delicious (thanks for arranging, Fenny) and great selection of coffee!
We had such a great time! We highly recommend this hotel for events and even just for a place to stay!

Sat nite Buffet for dinner. Liked the variety of main dishes, Chicken in a Pesto sauce, Braised beef, Roast beef, Salmon in spanish sauce.scalloped potatoes, mixed Veggies, etc. Salad bar and desert table. I enjoyed it.
Have not stayed there. Can't comment on anything else.

Stopped by for the buffet lunch on Friday and discovered they have a seniors discount as both of us are retired. While the variety isn't huge, there's a pretty good offering with good quality food. I enjoyed the salmon, roast beef, prime rib slices in thermidor sauce, and potato bacon soup. Ambience is quiet and pleasant. Service was good. A very good value.

We celebrated another New Year at this wonderful hotel.
We love to stay here we always feel so welcome.
The jacuzzi is quite large snd the suites are roomy.
Close to downtown and Chinook centre.

Stayed over in Calgary one night while visiting family and he put us up in this hotel on his company account. You can tell it was an older hotel that underwent a complete transformation. But in saying that it was an incredible transformation. This place looks fantastic. The lobby was huge and spacious with a restaurant, a sports pub and a comedy lounge. The staff was great and our room was huge. As for location its pretty good.you can get anywhere in Calgary in a decent time on the freeway.would definitely stay again.

Not the best. The roast beef was pretty awful; not just a lot of fat around the edges but actually in the meat. I got maybe three bites of actual meat in my slice. Gravy tasted burnt. If you're not going to serve turkey for CHRISTMAS dinner, the beef better be darn good and this wasn't even edible. I hope the manager monitors the amount of no edible fatty meat that came back on the plates.

Came here for a work lunch. With a vegan diet, after asking about the wraps and sandwiches, I unfortunately had resigned myself to having a salad for lunch once again. To my surprise, when I went up to grab food, I was approached by one of the attendants, Yuz, and she had gone out of her way and had the kitchen make me up a vegan wrap for lunch. I was blow away by this thoughtfulness! It was excellent, and made my day. Highly recommended!

Great staff clean room clean grounds. Parking spots could be a bit bigger but that is just being picky was a great stay

Went to eat.lounge.and later joined family in lounge…had breakfast.so 3 visits…and got charged on my hotel stay a fee for using lounge. WHAT …is that legal. I’m a guest! HELLO

This place looks brand new, although I am told is over 30 years old. I think it was either recently renovated or very well maintained. Everything works well and super clean. Comfy beds. Spacious room.
Would be nice to have more hooks for towels.

Service here is excellent. I have zero complaints on that. The location with relation to our business is super. Rooms are great up to the fact that air seems difficult (if not impossible) to control and they are noisy. I wish I was speaking just for my own, however, I have several colleagues staying here as well and they have same point of view. Road noise is one thing, there are few hotels that deal with that well, the big one for us (me) is the hallway noise and that I can hear everything. I haven’t experienced loud neighbors but one of my coworkers told me that one night his neighbor left the tv on all night. I could go on with other examples, long story short though: Great hotel, other than the noise.

It was my first time visiting Calgary (and Alberta!) and staying at this hotel put the cherry on top! We stayed on the 7th floor. The rooms were immaculate, (and that mattress) the staff were super friendly and the complimentary breakfast was fresh and delicious! I love that the room attendants were so thoughtful, and always left a lindor chocolate for us at night; what a treat! The interior decor of the hotel was beautiful and very clean. We visited the sports bar and the lobby restaurant. The employees were friendly and the food was yummy! The location of this hotel was perfect for our stay. It was close to major highways and malls. The outdoor pool was a great addition; with the beautiful Calgary warm weather and the cool waters, it felt like I was lying on the beach. Definitely will stay here again the next time we visit!

Didn't stay overnight, but went for a few meetings. I hadn't been to this place since it was called Blackfoot Inn, pre-renovations. Wow, was I surprised at how much nicer it was now than back then! What a great renovation!

That said, I can't comment on the rooms as I didn't spend any time in them.

Despite being a 3-star hotel, the interior of the room is well maintained, and there is also an outdoor pool and fitness center!

I am very satisfied that I can even eat breakfast.

I stayed at this hotel for a trip to the Rockies.
Rooms are clean. The bed is also very good.
The outdoor pool is great for teenagers to play.
Breakfast is great too.

Will definitely be staying here again in the near future! The rooms were spectacular as well the amenities like the pool and fitness centre. Staff at the desk were super friendly they made me feel so welcome. Area is also very remote and close if you want to take a walk to get food. Also the other side sports bar very incredible service and food!

This time the front desk staff was not very friendly as they were the previous times pool was full of debris bad way to spend our 30th anniversary

Nice hotel. Rooms were nice, staff were friendly.
We stayed during a heat wave and we're surprised to not have central AC. The small window wasn't enough to cool off the room. If you are hot natured and going in the summer, may want to consider a hotel with central AC.

In crisis mode, I had to book a room here last minute. Cate at the front desk was excellent in answering all my frantic questions and booking me into a great suite and offering suggestions on how I can use the facility to best work with my “situation. ” I was more “involved” than I would like to say, getting multiple deliveries, storing my luggage, using the business center before check in etc.but the staff was great! Hope to come back for a vacation.

Nice hotel. Clean rooms and great service. Well maintained outdoor heated pool. Average priced.
