Make sure the car that is listed for sale isn't already sold before you go there. Ended up driving in from out of town ready to buy exactly what i wanted, just to find out that the vehicle still being advertised on their website had sold. Apparently it sold the day before. Not really a bait and switch, but turned me off of even looking for any comparables they had, considering the time and fuel i wasted.

Great place to buy a car if you have no credit and want to build it back. Good selection of cars. Staff know what they are doing and treat their customers very well. On the other hand price are very high for what you get. Overall it’s a good place to buy a car depending on your situation and budget. 8/10

We trade in our honda civic, got a new truck, They guys gave us such good deals on both on our vehicles and the whole process was really quick and hassle free.
We will definitely be dealing with them for future needs.

Me and my husband was in the market for a new car 3 weeks ago and stumbled upon this company known for their good reviews. I have convince my husband to come there and look but yet we were so disappointed.

When we came, salesperson Mohamed came did his thing but he doesn’t look so interested to help us out. As we decided to do a pre-approval, waited there for an hour and told us that we will be contacted later as they are waiting for the “bank” then poof, we never heard anything from them. 3 days since that day we came, I emailed them, no respond. I called them, someone picked up and said we are qualified but then we have to wait again bc salesperson assigned to us was off. We have no idea what’s going on with our application. We don’t know if we are rejected or approved. We didn’t care if it’s rejected to be honest but the fact that they never attempted to contact us back nor gave us an update about our application was so disappointing.

The fact that WE have to call them that it should be THEM calling us as it’s their job.

Fast forward today, we have not heard anything. I am more concern now that our information is with them. Regardless, very disappointing. 1 star is not even deserving! It should be 0.

Stay away from this company.

Edson has been excellent. He is so calm. And so well informed. And very professional. And has a way with people.

He is also extremely patient. I changed my mind so many times on one thing or the other, but he never gets ruffled. Always calm and ready to help. And he doesn’t say no, he says “let me try”.

I’m too happy we dealt with Edson.

I recently purchased a car from HOC Barlow. My experience was exceptional due to Mahin (the sales consultant), he guided me through his catalog and a variety of other cars. I eventually made my mind by seeing a Chevy Sonic parked in his lot. Mahin then provided me a full inspection of the car and ensured the condition of the car was top notch by arranging for paint dent and repair for the very small condition issues that I was unhappy about.
That was the sales experience, which was a solid 5/5.

Sales staff was great, keep there word and replaced a damaged part on my SUV.
Then my issuses started, huge scratch were it looks like the bolt threads were dragged accross the body.
Emaild the GM Amer Akram as he had reached out after the purchase "to reach out if I have any problems " sent Aug 10 th, zero follow up as of Aug 20th.
Has wrecked the great work done by the other staff of house of cars Barlow.

Had a great experience with Imad, I called about a car I saw online and while that one turned out to be the wrong thing, I told him my list of wants/needs for a new vehicle and he far exceeded my expectations. Imad was exceedingly accommodating, even came in on his day off, and was a pleasure to work with - even negotiations were a positive and enjoyable experience. 10/10 highly recommend.

My husband and I recently purchased a vehicle from this location. We wanted to specifically highlight your Sales Consultant Connor Nodrick. We went in with big ideas and a tight budget and he took the time, effort and patience to find us the exact vehicle we wanted within a reasonable budget. Buying a vehicle can be really intimidating and confusing and he made it great! If you are looking for a new vehicle call this location and ask for Connor, you won't be disappointed.

Kevin is a definite asset to your team!   When I challenged him to get me in and out within 60 minutes (Friday, July 23), he laughed. I wasn't kidding!   He rose to the occasion and I was out of there in 50 minutes.   Now, that was fun!

Returned on Monday, July 26 and once again, challenged him to beat the previous time of 50 minutes.   hahaha.he would have done it had it not been for my husband doing a couple of test drives (imagine that).   60 minutes complete!

We returned yesterday to pickup my husband's vehicle.   When we were about to leave, Victor (I apologize if I have the name wrong) ran out to say, wait.something about the license plate.   LMAO, it was upside down!   We all had a good laugh.

At the end of the day, there's no question as to the place to go for a quality used vehicle.

I went in just to look around as I already had a car in mind with another place, by the end of my visit I was so happy with the customer service from Seb that I decided to stick with them and finance a car. There were a few obstacles along the way on my end but Seb was amazing and helpful and got me into a car I love for a great price 10/10 recommendation.

For months we had been searching for a vehicle and everything we looked at we weren't sure we wanted to commit too. Then she found what she was looking for and stared at the ad for a week. Problem was she wanted to test drive the vehicle and it was in Calgary 2 hrs.away. We finally contacted Josh Huziy at House of Cars - Barlow Trail and I tell you right now this guy was amazing! He offered to drive the vehicle down to Lethbridge and let us test drive it without commitment. He was confident that once she got in this vehicle she would want it. It was clean, smelled new, and was in mint condition. Well he was right. She test drove the vehicle from House of Cars in Lethbridge straight to our house. She is now the proud owner of a 2020 Nissan Pathfinder that she will not even let me touch never mind drive. Josh had all the paper work completed, financing pre-approved and all we had to do was sign away. I tell you I have never bought a vehicle when the purchase had been this smooth and easy! I thought after nearly a month I would update my review, I cannot say enough how great these guys have been, they outsourced my truck for me and I have since had some mechanical issues (no fault of HOC) and have taken care of absolutely everything for me, Ryan in service is amazing and these boys have gone above and beyond for me from purchase to delivery and beyond into ownership. Highly recommend any time!
