House Of Cars (Chinook)

Its been 4 months with our new Rav 4 that we purchased from Domaso. I've purchased from other dealerships before but he was hands down the most professional and easy going guy iv dealt with. My wife was very skeptical when we went into the dealership as she wanted to just go to Toyota. We seen some vehicles we liked online so we decided to go to House of Cars.

Right from the start when we met Domaso he was very kind and asked us the right questions on what we were looking for. After a bit of talking and looking on the site he said "you know what I think I have something in mind for you" He left and came back a few minutes later and said lets go outside. Much to our surprise he found the exact vehicle were both had in our minds and this was not on the website. We took it for a test drive and it was perfect. Everything went great after and we made the purchase at a good rate. Not to mention they through in a few perks for free.

After a few months the maintenance sign came on the dashboard. So first thing in the morning, without calling, I went into the dealership. I was greeted with smiles and "how are you, you got your vehicle off Domaso right? " They remembered me and said how can we help. I told them the issue and they got me in that exact moment. All it needed was an oil change but on a Rav 4 it just doesnt say "change your oil soon" like most vehicles.

They changed it and didnt charge me a penny. I didn't even have extended coverage so they were just being nice. I would recommend everyone to go see Domaso. He was awesome!

My experience was 10/10, top tier, amazing. Jamal helped me when i was in a really rough spot and made me feel super excited, welcomed, and all around in a 100% better mood than I was when i came into the store. I could not be any happier with the amazing level of service that was provided. My old car died on me, and we were in a pinch. As soon as we walked in Domaso was amazingly welcoming. He sat down with us, took us through all our options and we landed on a car right away. He constantly was in contact with myself, so I always knew what was going on. I came to house of cars not expecting to be approved considering I had been to four different companies prior to house of cars and every one came back with the same response. I put in an inquiry online and Mo contacted me within minutes. I was straight forward with him and let him know that I understand if he cant find me a lender as 4 other companies have said the same thing that they can not get an approval with out a cosigner. I let Mo know the details as I didn't want to have another company pull my credit if I wasn't going to be approved. Mo reassured me he would do his best and he was sure he could work something out. It did not take long before Mo was responding letting me know he was found me a lender who has not requested a cosigner. I honestly did not believe him at first I figured there was some side catch, there wasn't. Mo gave me all the details and was very honest with me about things that could be hard to communicate with some customers. Mo is the best sales person i have ever dealt with in my life. He listened to all my concerns and issues and was able to help me even though I had been turned down prior. Mo absolutely gave me his 100 percent attention and knowledge when it came to buying my 2018 Chevy sonic. Even though I did not want a car Mo was very through and to the point when he explained my options and why they were the only options I had at this time. I thought I was going to have to walk away from this deal three times and each time after reaching out to Mo things were resolved almost instantly. I know that house of cars is a team and they all made me feel at home although i can not say enough good things about Mo particularly. I would recommend any first time vehicle purchaser to deal with mo. I will never go to anyone else when purchasing a vehicle ever again and will recommend Mo to everyone i know in the market for a vehicle.

I bought a Chevy Orlando 2014 100% Cash down from their Chinook office. The sales guy was helpful throughout. The car came with no back up camera. A cheap rear view camera in place of a $500 one (that was initially promised at the time of sale) was installed after three and half weeks of calling them over and over again. The passenger side window made a loud noise while rolling it down that was not fixed. The tire pressure was not checked and the front right side tire had a puncture which their service team failed to detect. They said they did an inspection before handing over the car but honestly after seeing all this- a cheap back up camera installation, front window not working, and a front tire puncture all in the first few days of buying the car, I am definitely weary of this place. Bad customer service experience. Buyer's beware!

As a first time car buyer, I was obviously nervous about making such a big decision and had heard the classic forewarnings when buying a car; the salesmen are only concerned with commission and will do what they can to get the most money from you possible. After sitting down with Jody and Eddy at HOC, it became evident that was not the case here. They not only did everything they could to get me into the perfect vehicle but seemed excited to do so. I have never been more excited to write a review for a business. We are from the US but my daughter will be attending the U of Calgary this Fall. Since Canada has just opened their borders to fully vaccinated tourists, I, her mom, was able to come with her and get her set up in her apartment and ready for school. We had a long list of things to get done for her and one of them was purchase a car. I simply did not have time to spend running around dealerships and test driving cars, so for the first time in my life, I chose a car online without seeing it. I had investigated dealerships and read reviews and House of Cars was where I decided was the safest bet for this high-risk purchase. I cannot express how grateful I am that I found this place! Carlos and Eddy walked us through every step of the process of getting an International student into a car, registered and licensed to drive. Carlos even took us to the registration office himself and helped us get that done. Every step of the way they guided us. Carlos made multiple phone calls for us so we would know what documents we had to bring, He even did the legwork for us and found us a wonderful insurance agent with the best price I’d seen. We required SO much more effort from them than a typical buyer, and the car we chose was a consignment for them meaning they only make a small flat fee on it. Eddy and Carlos helped us the way they did because they are good people and they wanted to make sure my daughter was taken care of. Carlos picked us up at the airport in her car and it was even better than I’d hoped, exactly as they’d described. We’ve been tooling around town in it and it’s just wonderful. And both Eddy and Carlos have checked in on us to make sure we didn’t need anything and offered, again, for my daughter to call them or come by if she ever needed help. I cannot express how comforting it is to me to know she has this kind of support when I leave for the US in a few days. These guys are top notch. Honest, dependable, incredibly friendly and empathetic. I hit the jackpot finding this dealership. Thank you guys, for everything you did to make this transition easy for us, and know you have friends in Texas if you ever come out that way, come see us!

The Sales Group at the Chinook location were (and continue to be) nothing but 'top-notch' to deal with! They went above the mark, to ensure I got the car I wanted - in the best condition possible! I could not be more happy with this experience.

Would not recommend to anyone, as my very first experience with them and in Canada was an aweful one in the sense that I was mislead as a new comer and brand new credit. I went in to see what I needed to qualify for a car, and I was told by Carlos whom was informed by Geoghan that my credit would not be affected if they checked. So once i chequed with equifax I was made aware not only did they hard check my credit once, but about 9 different creditors and that it would not dissapear off my credit for at least 2 years. Its frustrating and heart wrenching when Im a new comer and trying to start on the right foot. This people are hungry for money as they only cared about is themselves, and mislead me telling not once but twice that my credit wouold not be affected and that it wouldnt be a hard hit. If they were smart they could've been honest and told me what exactly would be happening so that I could make an educated descicion. Again I wouldnot recommend anyone to House Of Cars as they showed me that they are only out to fill theior pockets the wrong way. Lying and misleading not the right way to do business.

Go see Jodi. He went above and beyond to get me set up with a new car. I have some of the worst credit out there and he worked so hard to get me approved at a great interest rate. I don't know how he did it but I would rechi to anyone.

The detailing team here did an amazing job on my car, looks like it has brand new interior again. They got all the small/hard to access areas which I've found other detailers forget about. Very professional, friendly and efficient!

This dealership has went over and above in all aspects! Right from the moment we walked in the door everything was just perfection. Nick, the sales guy we were dealing with, was super friendly and helpful. We knew exactly what we were looking for and he helped us find a vehicle which was a good fit for us without being pushy (unlike most sales person's we've previously dealt with.) The truck of which we chose needed repairs. This was something we knew right off the bat and was included in the purchase price of the vehicle. In the meantime we needed a truck for work, so Eddy the manager, set us up with a rental of which he covered all expenses for. Upon picking up the truck we observed that the truck had been detailed to perfection! It honestly looked brand new. I was there in early Feb, met with Jody. We sat down and I explained what I was looking for, and came back when I had my finances in order. We spoke over the phone a few times, he even pulled a vehicle from another location for me to see. After I bought my truck, he followed up with me the following week to make sure everything was great. There was a sensor issue with a seatbelt, and even after I’d taken the truck, Jody still had me bring it back so they could fix it for me.

Can I give 25 stars? !? ! This was, by far, the best experience buying anything I've ever had. I recieved a text immediately after my inquiry and booked an appointment to go look at a vehicle. Michelle Agnew was our assigned salesperson and I couldn't have been happier. She is so easygoing, friendly, and knowledgeable. There was never any hard sell or pressure from anyone. It took a couple of days to find the right vehicle for us and our budget that would also be reliable, but it was worth it.we got what we wanted and gained a lifelong friend. Everyone one at that location is amazing and you can tell they truly care about their customers needs and not just about making the sale. We will definitely be going back to this location for all our future vehicle needs and highly recommend them to everyone.

My best experience with a car lot has got to be this place.the salesman Jody helped me get into a new car that was still under warranty after my Murano started having problems. He helped explain how my credit score worked and how to build it back up even after having a repossession 2 years ago. If you need a new car or are in a pinch i would definitely recommend giving him a call.

I would highly recommend House of cars if your in need of a vehicle! Michelle, Eddy and the rest of the team were extremely helpful and informative so I could feel confident in my decision to purchase a 2019 Hyundai Tucson! I was having a hard time letting go of my old vehicle as it was the pride and joy of my late husband, but they were so thoughtful and made me a beautiful memento with a piece of the car so the wonderful memories could live on. Fantastic customer service and definitely a team that goes above and beyond!

Absolutely the worst place. I bought a vehicle here. The vehicle needed some work and I asked them to do an inspection and make sure it was road worthy. They said the vehicle needed a fuel pump n that was the reason for the tough starting, said the load muffler noise was a leak in the exhaust. Seemed reasonable. I picked the vehicle up and started to drive it down the road. No more than 5 minutes down the road and all the warning lights came on. Both signal lights failed. I barely made it to my mechanic. The next day there was a puddle of oil on the ground. My mechanic informed me that there wasn't a hole in my exhaust, it was a completely plugged catalytic converter and that was why it had no power and hard to start. The seals at the motor and transmission were shot. There almost to numerous issues. Unfortunately I believed that the vehicle was safe n inspected as per the way the report was written and not refundable. I went and addressed it with the manager. I was informed that it was my issue and to not pursue this matter as it would considered a threat. The vehicle had to many kilometers and basically what did I expect. They offered me a an imbaressing 300.00 refund and still haven't even given me that. I have fixed the vehicle finally. I would never buy anything from them again. The way they spoke to me was belittling. As a business owner myself. If I treated my customers that way I would loose them very quickly. Extremely disappointed

I recently bought a 2019 Toyota Corolla SE Hatchback from here and I have to say the experience was very good. Jody was the sales rep that helped me out and he handled everything very professionally. Definitely not a place to go. They lie in order to make a sale. If they can take advantage of a person they will we were told we had to buy a $25000 vehicle but we wanted a $7000 vehicle. We also were told we had to get the $25000 vehicle for bank security. So we phoned the bank and they said they would never tell a customer they have to buy a certain vehicle or a certain price. Moe was the salesman.

I was referred to HOC Chinook by my bestie who had purchased her vehicle there a few months back. She already had done all the hard work filtering through so many other dealerships. Jody was the man that got the job done! She wasn't exaggerating how amazing he is! Jody was exceptionally helpful! I walked in and was directed to john huh who i hit it off with instantly.a former underdog himself now rocken it in life.i expected the usual smiles and then good byes.instead i found a literal fountain of experience and knowledge.john was strait with me gave me direction.get your licence.heres how to fix your credit keep me posted.i left followed his directions and 2-3 weeks later i was back credit fixed licence in hand.he then went to work.and what i witnessed was nothing short of absolutly amazing.he stood and fought for me for 2 days not taking no for an answer.even when i was ready to quit a couple times john soldiered on.wrecking berrier after berrier put infront of me to get a vehilce.i then watched the team at chinook house of cars.explode with action.when something said no they were not having it john huh heading my ship.after a tremendouse. We went to house of cars with the wish to buy a car for a road trip through whole Canada and had a great experiance with our car dealer John Huh. Our budget was not very high so we directly asked for a good vehicle that would not cost us too much. John immediately had the perfect car for us in mind and also helped us with the insurance and registration. He is a great trustworthy guy who made us feel safe in buying the vehicle he suggested and we were not disappointed!

I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about house of cars chinook and John Huh. I got a vehicle through another dealership at the beginning of this year. I was a mom of three with one on the way DESPERATE to get into a vehicle that would suit our growing needs.due to that I didnt do my research and settle at the first place I went to.man was that a mistake! I then heard of John from a friend of mine.my friend passed on my info and the same day John contacted me, he listened to my needs and wants and did his absolute best to not only cover all those needs and wants, but he absolutely went above and beyond. The absolute best experience we ever could have imagined! So to start this long story off we purchased our first vehicle a 2014 grand caravan sxt from house of cars which was a great experience my wife lost her job but we kept up on the payments after a year we were recieving calls from courtesy dodge which was possibly the most angering exhausting experience ever. After five days at dodge we decided to walk away and try house of cars again. After reading Johns reviews we decided to set up a meeting. John and the entire staff went above and beyond for us and our 4 children not only were we informed on where we were at credit wise now but John extends his service past the sale to help you clear anything you have outstanding and get you to the best standing for mortgages and prime financing.not only would i recomend house of cars and John to everyone i know it will be the only dealer to see my buisness from now on. Great experience at House of Cars Chinook. I had decided I was interested in finding a car a couple days before hand but was nervous about making an uninformed decision. I made a list of things I was looking for and questions I had about financing and Fahad answered every one of them and found the perfect car. Definitely had a stress free experience that worked within my budget and got me a better car than I could have found for myself.

We went in expecting to have to haggle to get the best price and pleasantly surprised when we didn't have to. John is a man that cares about his customers and wants to make sure that you walk away felling like a person and not just another sale (whether you buy or not) we went in looking for a vehicle to tie me over till i could payoff some debt to be able to buy a brand new truck in a couple of years.not only did John listen to what we wanted he also helped me understand how to i could accomplish my goal and put me into a vehicle that would help me get there. Once he handed us off to Josh to go over the numbers and get the ball rolling the excellent service continued as Josh went over the number and made sure we were completely happy with them before he even checked our credit to get the finance put in place.
