Really well kept salon and a welcoming environment. Big shoutout to Taylor B for her job with my hair! She always makes sure that you are involved in the process to make sure you get the result you want. Plus she is extremely personable and knowledgeable, even with helping pick the right products for your hair. Will definitely be back

Kristine was fantastic. Always a great haircut but even more fun is her personality! I enjoy it every time i go.

Amazing! I have been a client for years, and had a number of stylists cut my hair, and I've always left impressed.

I always have a great experience with Jenna. With being blonde it’s always nerve racking with finding a good hair stylist. I’ve been seeing her for a year now and everytime she does a full head of foils, it always turns out perfect! Jenna is a must see!

Sara Brace consistently provides amazing cut and colour services for myself and my daughter. My teenage son is very picky about his hair and will only see her. Sara is extremely professional, welcoming and knowledgeable.

First time at HQ as I received a gift certificate. Had a body scrub, massage and facial. All in all, it was a great morning. The staff were all very nice and I do see myself returning again.

Sunni did an incredible job with my layered cut. First time seeing her, and she nailed it! I will be back and I am already recommending her to other people.

Updated to add that I now see Paige for my hair and I'm still really happy at HQ!

Also had a makeup application done here for a formal event I was attending. It wasn't cheap, but I've never received so many compliments on my makeup from friends and complete strangers alike!

Shout out to HeadQuarters for the worst experience due to the Owners refusal to take responsibility for salon errors, difficult communication style and ignorant attitude, refusal to extend customer care, and unfair policies.

I had been seeing Rachel for a while and had been working towards my hair goals with her. She was very conservative and although she had not quite yet achieved exactly what I wanted I continued going back in hopes that each experience would get us closer to my desired results.

Each time I was extremely careful to communicate what wanted as well as what I did NOt want by using pictures as well as offering clear, concise verbal explanation.

I was extremely clear that I preferred my hair to remain my natural darker blonde as the base with chunkier bleach blonde highlights for a more dramatic effect.

Rachel proceeded to work on my hair and I was quickly concerned as to whether she was using techniques that would accomplish what I had asked for… again.

My concerns were confirmed when I saw the final results.

Whatever Rachel did left me with what appeared to be tiny “highlights” which were brassy in color and the rest of my hair was faded washed out blonde with a greenish undertone.

When I expressed that I was unhappy with the results the manager was very understanding and validated my feelings. She explained that I would need to speak with the owner to come up with a solution.

The owner never did reach out to me as requested. I had to call several times before I was able to catch her at work.

When I finally was able to speak to her she was very rude and impatient not allowing me to fully explain my experience.

She told me I was being too picky and since their stylists didn’t have the skill set to accommodate me i would have to go elsewhere to have my hair fixed.

I was told that I would not be reimbursed since it is not their practice to do so

Instead of compliments everyone I spoke to expressed they liked my hair better before I had it done.

Since that experience I have had consultations at other salons and have been told that this is a common complaint of clientele leaving HQ.

I want to note that all the front end staff and the manager at HQ are beautiful, lovely ladies. I do hope that they are being treated as well as they deserve but I am not confident at all that the owners of HQ are capable of that.

I advise you to save yourself the disappointment, emotional stress, and financial loss and avoid this salon. I have since had wonderful experiences elsewhere.

Never going back

Had my hair coloured at HQ yesterday, and I am so happy!
The front end ladies are always so nice. I had called that I was running a bit late (which I hate as I don’t like to waste anyone’s time) however I was not made to feel any more guilty about it.
I had Amy colour my hair for the first time, and she gave me the perfect colour- exactly what I was hoping for, and superbly blended. She was able to provide some advice on questions I had regarding my hair health. She was also very gentle with brushing out my easily tangled, long hair after the wash.

I'm super super picky with who does my massages and Brandy is a godess. She is so knowledgeable and good at what she does. Won't go anywhere else.

I had such a lovely time getting my hair done here. I wish I could remember the name of the girl who did my blow out. She was knowledgeable, helpful, easy to talk to & very good at her craft. As a new mom, I don’t often go out feeling like a supermodel… but tonight

I would like to share with anyone looking for a 5 star barber that Camilo probably has the best skills in his craft that I’ve ever dealt with, top notch design work and attention to detail, he is the only barber I will deal with in town, go and see him and see for yourself.

Not to mention the cleanliness and friendly ladies and environment you can enjoy all the while, koodos to a awesome place to spend time on yourself and your hair
