Have been going to Westbrook H& R Block for years. The ladies are great and quick. I recommend this location for sure.

Do NOT use this company. My spouse went in on December 22 to file his taxes. It was a rather unique and urgent situation. He explained this to the woman working whi assured him they would be done and submitted immediately. Upon going to pay his bill he realized he didn't have his wallet. He went back 10 minutes before closing and was told that she couldn't take his payment as she had batched out. Okay, he waits until the next day they're open goes in and pays and was told they would be submitted asap. After calling revenue Canada everyday he was told to got back to H and R to find out what was going on. So, he went in yesterday and the employee had "forgot" to subit them. The interesting thing is, he had to provide ALL information all over again. So we're they even done on December 22? VERY POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES H &R BLOCK. We would LOVE to know why and how this happened.

Had an appointment to do my deceased parent taxes. When I called to make appointment they confirm they had a person to do, so I made the appointment. Arrived for appointment to find out the didn’t have anyone available. So they then looked at other time and I asked to book it, she then said she couldn’t because they were booked up. Then why offer to look up. I left feeling very disappointed with whole experience. Will not go back to this location again.

This is the best H&R Block crew I have ever met. The unassuming building and small office size won't immediately reveal the immense calibre of the individuals working here but you will be surprised. They literally worked 3 hours after they closed to get my taxes done on time. A crew of superheroes working together. I've never seen tax professionals hug each other during tax season in joy but it happens at this branch. In particular I was blessed over the last 3 years to have Anas Alam, Anne Nietto, Anna Prukosheva (the 3 An's) to help save me with my Uber taxes and Katrine Foellmer for being a team player behind the scenes picking up the extra load without so much as a peep. It truly is a team dynamic. I'm glad I stumbled into this hidden little gem. Real life superheroes. They have the right spirit. A miracle is happening and they are the spark!

Had a great experience with HR block at this location. Our tax returns were done completely online which was super efficient for us! Really great work done by our agent Mariana and will be sure to recommend to our friends.

I used to go here as a student. They offered to do students taxes at 29.99. I did this the same tax week each year and the final year I went, they said I had to pay 80 because they increase the student fees by 10 dollars every week it gets closer to the end of the tax season. Again, I did my taxes the same week every year, first week of April and was charged 30 every year except that last year where they ripped me off. If you don't want to get ripped off, then don't go here. Turbo tax is free anyways.

I had my taxes completed at this location of H&R Block last month. I arrived right as the office opened, and was greeted by the friendliest agent (her name was Jamie)! I immediately felt at ease, like I was chatting with a friend! The process to file my taxes was quick and I was able to walk out with my refund in less than a half an hour. I normally complete my tax returns on my own, but I needed my refund sooner rather than later this year, so I chose to have H&R Block complete them. I'm glad I did - friendly and quick service with reasonable fees! Very happy and grateful!

First time I ever went here to file my taxes. Waited outside in the beating hot sun for about half an hour, and I wasn’t helped until I called the store and asked them when I would be able to get help since they were closing soon. Finally got in, and the lady who helped me was very friendly. And then the most ignorant guy helped me. Rather than asking if I’m a Canadian Citizen, he assumed that I’m an immigrant and asked, “when I came to Canada” in the most condescending manner. And I wasn’t sure if it was the colour of my skin, or the fact that I don’t have a generic name, but it was still extremely disrespectful. I don’t have an accent, and my english (speaking and writing) is perfectly fine. Called him out for it, and he didn’t have much to say. Asked me very misleading questions, which I had to verify and change over the phone a few days later. Told me to come in on a certain day if I wanted help from the lady who was actually useful, and then called me that day to tell me that the store was closed? Buddy didn’t know how to deal with customers, let alone his own job’s hours. I honestly regret coming here to file my taxes.

Had a very good experience both years I've filed my taxes with H&R Block. I was using another service other years but I like that H&R Block is efficient, fast, and has knowledgeable staff as well as having so many places that are nearby to file with.

Very expensive service. I asked the rep how much they charge to do a tax with two T4, and three expenses receipts? He said it may cost between $120 to $180! Just notice to the range, $60 variation between the lowest cost to highest!
I said please give me a better estimate $60 is too much and he said after he does my tax the system tells the exact fee.
Anyway I went to another company and just paid $100 for the same service.
Look around before going to HR Block, there are more firms in Calgary with same service and reasonable fee.

Still sitting here, we where supposed to be in at 2: 00 pm, but someone walked in and got in before me and some other male waiting. We've been waiting 20 minutes.

I've been going to the same gentleman for past 3 years now and the service has been excellent every time. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Great tips and recommendations on my tax returns and investments. Thank you shailesh

Second year I go to get them done here and really can trust them to do a good job.

I would highly recommend getting them done here if your doing your household income tax.

They are all professional accountants and really know their stuff.

Super nice Staff. Helpful and understanding. Didn't need to wait even though I was booked with someone else, the senior tax counsel took me on and got it all done. Thank you so much that I didn't need to come back with a different appointment.
