Awful experience! People have NO clue what they are doing! They made a MISTAKE in my tax refund profile and I LOST my money! I am going to hire an advocat to bring my money back and make them answer for this mistake! Two different people from my side tried to make a refund using their siervices and they made SAME MISTAKE FOR BOTH!

I came in March 31st at 3pm with only 1 person in front of me and 2 people being served. I got files I filled handed them back. Then waited an hour to be told to wait another 30 minutes for another person to help me. No problem. Waited then after another 30 mins I finally get in. Still with a positive attitude I promise. Finish up get told someone else as to check me out. No worries 20 minutes go by. Then I get told my 2018 taxes weren't done, okay understandable but I was sure I did. I get those done. Then the man that was supposed to check me out got busy. Another 10 to 15 minutes goes by. At this point I'm upset I ask for a note to come pick it up the next day. I get there the next day to be told my 2018 file is lost, the system is down and I can't do anything.

So I ask if I can go to another one and if the file is available for the other locations, I was told YES.
So I go to the one in city center to be told it's NOT on file and they have to do it all over again.
ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!
I didn't even get an I'm sorry from the man that was at the desk. Not even an I understand it can be frustrating. Nothing.
Seriously a wait of time. 3 hours of my life down the drain.

I'll tell you why, they come across as being (tax professionals) in preparing our taxes, through their income tax business services, Because I have one question that all canadians would all agree on with me, and that is this, if we all took our taxes to be prepared by three different sources of taxation professionals would we they all end up with the same exact results and return amounts, and if their answer is no or not really sure then I would have to ask why not considering that they're all using and following the exact same income tax return formula's set out guidelines for preparation of our income tax returns setup by service canada less the amount that their charging for doing the income tax return preparation,

P.s. I'm Willing To Wager My Income Tax Return Against Their Professionalism Betting That All Three Income Tax Returns Would All Come Back With Three Different Amounts And Im Meaning Prior To Them Removing The Amounts They're Charging, And I Guarantee You This All Three Would All Lose Hands Down And They'll All Still Call Themselves Professionals

Save your money! DO NOT GO HERE! Their debit machines 'conveniently' break! But dont worry; for the small additional price of $60 the money can come off your tax return. How convenient!

I was a walk in client with 1x T4 Document, I was served quickly with a genuine positivity that made me feel pleased and well respected by the staff here. My taxes were filed within an hour, and I left with an appropriate refund.

This so called "expert" doesn't even speak English decently. I had an extremely difficult time listening and communicating with her.
My return was a lot less than the last tax year when I earned even more money. Huge disappointment! I would've given zero star if I could, truly terrible experience.

I do not reccomend doing your taxes here at this HR Block location. I went in at 9: 15 with an easy year of student taxes and the old Asian lady tried to get me to claim Alberta residence when my residency is from a different province. She messed up my federal and provincial net claims for student tax credits twice and had the audacity to say to me I don't understand anything. After 45 mins on a 15 min tax evaluation I was faced with a final straw back braking problem. She couldn't set up direct deposit and pay with refund. She pushed to give me cash back today on those cards but I didn't want that (couldn't get it either because I am a resident of different province) she was the WORST. I am going to a different location later because she made too many mistakes and I was so mad she messed up I just said I am done. Avoid this location like anti vax kids you do not wanna deal with them.
