This rating was my experience with a Manager service verbally and sale signage not honored.

Love that you open your doors at 9: 35 but don’t let customers enter the mall via your doors until 10am

Why bother opening just so that you have to stop people walking through for 20+ minutes? Put me off walking through here in future.

Very large selection of clothing, furniture, electrical appliances and everything you need in the household. The price level is slightly above average. But also a lot of designer things. Wide aisles, everything clean and tidy. It's fun to browse here.

Limited stock and not an employee to be found except at the few tills that were open. I will not return.

Worst store layout ever, snobby employees and floor managers that can't handle store mistakes honourably! Thre Bay is rich and doesn't need my hard earned money I get that! Just another store who doesn't recognize that the customer is what is keeping them alive! Time to call out these large corporations and support our mom and pop shops, that the government is trying so hard to destroy! Word to the wise, maybe
The Bay can learn a thing or two about treating the customer with respect from these mom and pop shops! Just another store to boycott, and wait for justice to prevail!

The ladies working in the shoe department were very kind and helpful to my grandmother and gave her wonderful service

I went to The Bay on Saturday looking for a dress. I was having a hard time finding something that looked good on me. But the lady at the fitting room was very kind and she helped me to choose a beautiful dress. She looked for multiple styles, sizes and colours for me. This is the customer service I always expect to receive at The Bay! I believe her name was Lilie.

This is my go to place at the mall to cut through the store to get into the the actual mall when it's cold outside.thank you.

I went to the store on Saturday, great prices for Black Friday Liliet at the fitting room was very helpful, she gave me her honest opinion about the clothes I was trying and helped me to choose some dresses as well. Everything for a great price. Thank you so much Liliet!

Nice store but there are no dress shoes (men) to choose from. Limited shirt (men) choices too. Very disappointing. If you need formal shoes, shirts.then you probably need to go to Edmonton because other stores are too, poorly provisioned in St. Albert.

Really wondering how the bay is still in business. What niche does it fill? Is it profitable at all? It's not cheap but the store that has remained as it was since it first opened always looks like a dump.

Pretty good quality goods, not as much variety as in the past, and so some supply issues, but that is everywhere. Overall its okay.

What a nice shopping experience! I went there looking to see the prices of their duvets. I was shocked by the prices, much more than I anticipated, and was just about to leave when a woman who was just starting her shift approached me asking me if she could help me with anything. Though there were no Sale signs posted, she said they often went on sale and checked each one on the floor with her scanner to see if any currently were, happily there were! I ended up gettin a duvet, and also got a duvet cover at an amazing price which she helped me with during the decision making process. Thank you Maria for such a pleasant shopping trip, glad I dropped in.:)

The woman is housewears/bedding etc is so sweet and kind. It's like having a personal shopper. I wish I could remember her name at the moment. I love the bay and this st. Albert location is the absolute best.

After many years being a customer of the Bay absolute terrible service then having two extremely knowledgeable and very helpful Representatives of the Bay only too willing to help me pick out a suit and several shirts was an absolute pleasure doing business with these Representatives unfortunately I do not have their names but I have gratitude for them well done

When I first came to Canada the Bay was the first dept; store I visited. I had been to many a big store in London, but "The Bay" was so
Canadian and so well put together. I have a soft spot for this store admittedly, however, they have a great selection of designer clothes, well priced and the staff here are quite willing to help. Like most stores the staff are not always available on the floor.

Ordered boots online and they were too small. I was easily able to return them in store with no issues at all!

Medium the Bay. Only one floor. But it WAS Bay Days which is awesome. And it WAS a pandemic so it was sparsely populated which is also awesome.

Used to be a great store. The men’s department has gone down hill with eliminating high end men’s line (Polo, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Nautica, etc.) Looks more like Walmart now. Staff are great and very helpful.

Hudson's Bay St Albert is a smaller store with very little stock (they often don't have what I need), a messier, disorganized, and dated (especially the fitting rooms) interior. Staff, if you can find one, while pleasant are not that helpful and often refer you to their larger stores or online (another area where significant improvement is required!). If looking to purchase a larger item be very careful to know their return policy before purchasing it to make sure it suits your needs! I tend to avoid this store for all of the reasons above, but will likely find myself back there simply because it's close by.

The staff at the cosmetics/fragrance section were extremely helpful, friendly, and down-to-earth during my last visit. More than just a transaction.

Southgate - They have a lot a variety just a small selection of styles from each brand they carry. Ladies footwear department is fairly large and they also carry numerous brands.

Great location. It's not the closest Bay store to me but I will drive the extra few minutes to go to this one since it is overall just a bit nicer store inside. Clean. Better selection than Londonderry.

The sales lady went out of her way to serve me, it felt great to actually get a bit of much needed ' retail' customer service!

The ladies that work in the fragrance department are terrific. They are so helpful. Their product knowledge is outstanding. They will stay with you and let you try any fragrance until you find the right one. They are always friendly and obliging! Great job ladies

This should be a great example of a traditional Canadian department store & although we often end up there looking for that hard to find some thing, the staffing let's it down. Cashier service is good if somewhat personality less but floor staff are hard to find & indifferent.

Hudson’s Bay is one of the few department stores to survive the implosion of several large department stores in the last few years. I’m not sure how, although the clothing and accessories that Hudson’s Bay has are good quality they are also quite pricey. They do have lots of sales. The store is well lit and clean but very dated. I have been to several Hudson’s Bay’s in the Edmonton area and they are all the same, somewhat dated, good selection of products and pricey. It makes me wonder if in time there will be any large department stores around in the meantime this is a prime example of a traditional department store.

They have a large selection of stuff. Ranging from medium to high priced goods and are usually great quality.

This used to be the place to go for good buys on good quality items. Now.prices increased and sales average out at 30% off. Seldom shop here any more.

I actually I love the Bay. However the floor manager seemed a bit rude to the customers ahead of me, treating a line up of people waiting for the one cashier like a line up of kindergarteners "dont stand here, your blocking the way" which might not sound bad in print but the tone was disrespectful to the 6 or 7 seniors that were waiting. They finally brought on more cashiers. They have only one cashier station for the whole floor and change rooms are in need of improvements.

Good selection of clothing. Terrible ladies room. Don't appreciate the signs in there telling users to behave or it will be closed. It hasn't been redecorated or upgraded in over 20 years.

Couldn't really find a toy section seems to be one level and smells like perfume my babyand 4 yr old couldn't handle this, we had to leave after I've returned an item I bought online

As Gabe Dehod mentioned, terrible cosmetics department. Outright refused service because of having a $30 - $50 budget likely due to working on commission.

They need to educate their staff more about the services they offer. I asked the Clinique lady today where the hearing aid centre was and she sent me to another hudson bay store in Edmonton when they have it in the St Albert store.

I always manage to find something I like for a good price here. Staff are polite, friendly and helpful. It seems as though they have cut back on staff, which is too bad.

Great quality items with wonderful prices. I did most of my Christmas shopping at The Bay. I found unique clothing with quality and fit I could not find anywhere else. Went back after Christmas and scored on some beautiful bedding. The Bay is always great to shop at, staff helpful and efficient. Love HBC rewards.
Bought couches with chairs earlier this year with magazine coupon for The Bay saved more than I spent. Very happy, life long Bay customer.
