Hudson's Bay

I purchased a table in Mid December. I have been wanting to return it since Dec 23, it has not been deliver yet. I called The Bay about 10 times now, sent an email on Dec 23,2023 to the sales associate who helped us. No one answers the phone. Not customer service, not the operator, I tried a few different departments, no answer! I have tried different days of the week, no answer. The sales associate assured us that if we change our minds about the table, to simply give her a call on her card which she provided - I hope she knows that number doesn't work!

Bought a pair of shoes online (Final Sale). When the shoes arrived they were Wide Fit. No where on the ad or in the description did it say Wide Fit. When I contacted Customer Service I was told tough luck. Classic bait and switch. Show a product on line and subitute with what ever product you have available. I can see why The Bay is in the state they are.

I met an incredible service lady named Rima in the furniture section today.she stood on the customer side to give out very constructive comments.she checked every detail of all my questions.

My experience was awful. I went shopping for blouses and I was watched not by 1 person but by 5 of the employees there. Never again am I shopping there. They treated me like I was a thief! That's no way to treat someone when they shop! Hudson Bay do better!

Retail staff didn’t know the promotions that were offered at other locations and accused me of sticking a discount tag on their stuff when they didn’t realize I could hear them…

I believe her name was Kira working at the Dior counter (?), she was amazing. Finding new perfumes is no easy task for me, but she very skillfully walked my friend and I through a really great selection that we otherwise wouldn't have found for ourselves. She gave expert recommendations, a couple samples when the other woman said that was impossible, and overall just had such a wonderful and personable attitude. She's a gem, and I hope she's recognized as an incredibly valuable asset to the company! Thank you Kira!

I really dislike how big yet understaffed the bay always is. Asked for a shoe in a size clerk disappeared to Narnia for 20 mins. Comes back and says they don't have my size. Asked for a different pair, same thing. Disappeared for 20 mins. Comes back and says they don't have that size.

I went to atmosphere and asked for a size, the clerk scanned them and told me "yes! We have that size" immediately. No wonder they need a bail out.

The Bay has lovely womenswear and is well laid out. I wasn't shopping for anything in particular but I have started getting ideas for Christmas.

Good sales.found skin care line called Ordinary clean ingredients amazing price. Not all HB's carry it. Chinook for sure.

Great experience with the ladies in mattresses and bedding. Rim gave me all the time and advice I needed to choose the right mattress. Plus, she worked with her manager to get me some great pillows! Thanks to W in bedding - she was super busy but found the time to help me choose some great pillows and increase my knowledge in the area. Great service and great value.

I went to this store to return something I bought from another store and to buy clothes for my one year old baby boy. The returns process was very easy. The baby section is not stocked very well though for 12 to 18 month old babies.

They often have good prices, but items not on sale are a rip off. Zwiling Knives are often great to price match here, since Zwiling charges shipping. In addition, HBC is a part of Canadian heritage so I enjoy shopping here.

The lady, Negar, who works at the shoe department treated me very rudely. I'm extremely upset and disappointed, especially as a regular shopper at Hudson's Bay Market Mall.

Recently visited to Bay store (CF Market Mall, Calgary) and I was completely unsatisfied with my experience with the store manager where he didn't match the price with downtown store price. Later I received a phone call from store manager regarding my experience and I am very pleased to say that they resolved all the issues and I was treated very well. Great thanks to the store management for looking into the issue and making me a happy customer. Appreciate it! Greatly appreciated the customer management! Would definitely recommend to others for a must visit to this store for great shopping experience!

I prefer to shop in a different store because it is so hard to find my size there. The fitting is not that great. It is very pricey too.

I shop the menswear department, and shoes. I can usually find some name brand clothing that I really like at a reasonable price. There is a good selection and many sales. The service seems to be getting better at the Bay. I stopped shopping the Bay for many years the service got so bad but now it is becoming one of my favorite stores.

Love the Chinook Mall location, they usually have helpful staff compared to other locations which isn't saying much since staff are hard to find and usually don't go above or beyond to help anyone. They always have great events though which I enjoy attending.

I do always love the Bay and the classic Department Style Store. Great array of fashions, style, brands & quality. Staff are attentive. It's always an extra bonus if you visit during the big seasonal sale or Bay Days as you never know what you'll find.

Decent store if you don't want to go shopping for women's wear. It's impossible to find things amongst the maze of racks that have a mix of everything.

Called the manager on duty, Gary, to ask if they price match with Amazon. He assured me it was. And advised if there were shipping fees, it would be added to the price. I told my mom. She got there and the associate told her they do not price match with amazon. The associate went to speak with the manager and he advised her what he told us. Great guy and he is really appreciated.
