I’d give them zero stars if I could. I ordered some items online and when in to pick them up after they sent me an email saying it was ready to pick up. They couldn’t find my order nor my items so I went and bought some new items and was going to let my order for pickup time out and refund me as their policy stated it would after 7 days. On the 7th day they claimed I picked the items up which I obviously didn’t as I’d already gone in and purchased the items.

Shay was really helpful at front end. She assisted me with all my queries and wrapped my gifts really well for my family. We do need more people like her in our community who love their Job and made our shopping experience great!

I have always liked shopping at the Hudson Bay stores. I am happy we have one in Lethbridge. It is always nice to go there on special events day. The manager is a wonderful person. Her staff is polite and helpful.

Oh my god this store is sweltering hot all the time, the security guard judges you from the second you walk in, the whole store smells like mothballs, and there's not alot of workers even if you did need help.

Company really needs to update their systems and return policies. Went to return a dress purchased a week prior but didn't have original paper receipt. Without having the receipt they offered me $6 for my $70 dress or they wouldn't accept it back, even though the dress still had its original tags and I could show proof of purchase by bank statement. I should've been told this upon purchasing because no one has time or space to be keeping these receipts. Such a silly policy for this day of age!

Horrible service! Tried to set up a wedding registry and 6 different employees passed me off to the next with no idea what they were doing. 2 staff actually said to me "I have no idea what I'm doing! " After 30 MINUTES they finally found someone who seemed like she might be able to help. She told me to download the app and do it on my phone then TURNED and WALKED AWAY!
I should add that I was in the store with my fiancé and 5 month old baby. Every single employee stopped to comment on our daughter. We left extremely frustrated and will not be registering with them.

I watched at least 40 people between 10a-10: 45a walk away when discovering you weren’t open till 11a. Perhaps reopen at 10a?

Everyone in this store is super friendly and will go above and beyond to help you find the right item for you.

I’ve never had a bad experience here. The customer service is always great and they always seem very helpful if you have questions. This is definitely one of the places with the most professional staff in Lethbridge if you need to go shopping for clothing, accessories, or anything else they sell.

I like The Bay; but wish there was more customer service on the floor. I always feel like it's hard to find help when I am at this location. Staff I do deal with there are friendly.

HB is a good source for things like clothing, housewares & cologne. Prices tend to be on the high side.

I went there last week and it was Bay day, so almost everything was on sale which was good. I like Estee Lauder double wear black eyeliner and apparently in the entire Lethbridge, you can only find it at Bay, so it was great.

There is a man who works there. His name is Hugh. What a kind and genuinely lovely man. Whoever hired him was brilliant. I’m not in the bay often but knowing he is there certainly makes me want to go out of my way to return.

I remember going in a couple years ago with the idea that this place was only for rich people. Yes, they do have a lot of the pricier items there but they also have a lot of great options for more thrifty folks. And tons of sales.

I went in on Sunday, around noon, to do a return from things I ordered during COVID, and to buy more stuff. The staff was amazing in helping me get everything sorted out after I had lost my receipt and things. They hooked my up big time. I'm so glad they're back and they can take all my money again. Thanks, gals!

Most of the street entrance doors are locked, with no notification or signage showing which are open. Sales are filled with fine print that is difficult to read on signs. Housewares two to three times the price of exact same items at Canadian Tire. Exclusives are not worth the price.

It's definitely dated over here. The staff is usually friendly which is a redeeming quality. But honestly I can't really recommend coming here. Seems expensive more often than not. And the selection is really take it or leave it. At least for me

This location will no longer get anymore of my business. I'm currently feeling very sour and bitter.

I Received a voicemail saying my couch has arrived.went down today to pick it up. Staff says I can't have it until Tuesday. This is absurd, Why leave a voicemail telling someone your product has arrived only to have them now wait 3 days. I worked in retail for over 10 years and I've never heard of such a thing. I have never call the client or customer to inform them there product has arrived if I knew they would have to wait that long to pick it up. I would only call them the day before or the same day they can pick it up.

Secondly once again, i've worked retail for 10 years, I've never been aware of any retail store not having someone in the warehouse on the weekend.

In the 2 Stores I worked, if a shipper and receiver was busy, then that's when the salesmen or manager would then take on the responsibility to help the customer.

I tried to keep my business local, but I don't think I will be buying the rest of my furniture from this store location.

Staff not very helpful. Seems like they are not concerned about customers shopping at their store.

Sales person was polite and helpful, even though it was end of the day. Looked online before i went - but website didn't have great photos of the items I wanted. Glad I went to the actual store to buy instead.

Went here to shop for fragrance, and the associates were just chatting on a corner, and I had to call their attention to assist me. Associate didn’t bother to upsell me something, she just took the fragrance, received my payment then walked away. Didn’t even bother giving other fragrance samples if I had not asked for one.

The Bay is a good store. Some service really really good but some service really bad. We always go and get different kinds of purchases so we speak to different sales persons. Mature staff are more helpful.

I honestly thought this place went out of business years ago. Probably one of just a handful of places in Lethbridge you can find higher end, designer clothing. I appreciate that it's an option, even though it's not my thing. I was joking to my wife it was probably only old people and rich immigrants who keep The Bay in business. Not sure if that's true or not, but based on the people walking around the store, it's probably not far from the truth. My biggest complaint (besides everything being too expensive) is the parking. It's gotten a lot worse since AHS has taken over a large part of the mall and converted most of it to 'reserved'.

The one star goes to the staff that were watching me after I had been already been helped. I went in on my lunch break to look at the Mac makeup eyebrow products. I work construction so I look a bit out of place in there. While trying on products I could see two staff members in the mirror watching me and speaking poorly about me as if I were looking to steal the product. I felt very uncomfortable and did not end up purchasing products because of this. I will not shop at this Hudsons Bay location after this incident.

Today, I wanted to return about $1000 of men's suits and jackets that I had purchased online. The big problem, I did not have the receipt that had been enclosed in the shipping box. Diane Iwaasa, the clerk, went above and beyond to make sure that I received my credit. The details, included a call to the Bay office, somewhere - she knew where to call. It took some time, but, it really went without a hitch. When I thanked her, she simply stated, "I would want someone to do the same for me. " To treat your customers as you wish to be treated is a high standard to set for oneself and Diane did just that for me today! Thank you, Diane!

I am extremely appalled at the customer service- browsed for 30 minutes not one person checked in with us. When we went to try clothes on the lady refused to respond to our “hello! ” Or even smile. The only thing she said was “how many items” before opening the door and walking away looking miserable towards us. A family came in and asked for the larger room and the lady said “I was hoping I could get you into the one next to it but doesn’t look like that’s happening” to the daughter of the mother-making us feel like we had to leave the stall. We left immediately feeling unwelcome.

Good variety, prices vary. The only thing I found was nobody asked me if I needed help. None of the employees even said hello

My favorite store to shop. Always have great sale prices on a large variety of products. Unlike other places that only have sale prices on a few products. Great quality merchandise in every department.
