I saw Shcantarra for a vertical labret piercing and she was wonderful. It was my second time getting it pierced so I was quite picky, but she was nothing but kind and accommodating. Definitely my favourite piercing experience to date. Thank you so much Schantarra.

Second time I've been here and both times I've had really good experiences. Have had a couple of piercings done at this location as well. Staff is always very friendly and helpful, and is willing to price things out for you in advance to make sure it fits within your budget. The cost of the jewelry here is expensive $70-80/piece but WORTH IT - its high quality and the shine on the gems lasts forever, they also come with a warranty for damage. The piercer today helped me put in the new jewels and was super sweet:)

It was my first tattoo here. My tattoo artist (Dawn) was really nice and caring and told me everything I needed to know. The people there are nice as well and funny. I had a fun time there getting my tattoo.

My fiance and I got septum piercings from Schantarra. It was a great experience for both myself, a novice to getting pierced, and my fiance who has more experience with it. She helped us both pick out some beautiful jewelry that would work with our metal sensitivities and the piercing itself was virtually painless. The studio itself was clean and tidy. We will definitely be going back

Shout out to Schantarra for always doing amazing work with piercings and finding a piece of jewelry that fits my style! As well as finding alternatives when your anatomy doesn't work for a specific piercing! <3

My experience was exceptional. My artist Jay Shelly is the man, at the Airdrie location. He did my tattoo with much anticipation and concentration. He made me feel at ease. Thank you Jay, I believe there’s no tattoo that you can’t do.

Dawn was amazing, super helpful, and sweet. She has done my best tattoos up to date. I could tell easily that she goes the extra mile.

I was gifted a tattoo for my birthday and I must say it was the best tattoo experience I've had to date (already having 8 tattoos) and over 2 decades.

Tori was my artist, and she pre planned the appointment with my wife to do a water color design fill-in for a tattoo I already have. (Lego Spider-Man)

I was greeted nicely by the staff and Tori went over the design with me. I requested one small addition which she happy obliged on the spot.

The space was incredibly clean and welcoming. There were a few others in the studio but it wasn't loud at all.

Tori had her art work all over the walls and it doubled down on my confidence in having her as my artist.

The tattoo was near painless, as it was on my forearm, but that would be different for everyone. Tori was excellent in checking in on my comfort and asking if I needed to stretch or adjust my arm.

Conversation was easy and filled the entire appointment. I've never had that with another artist. It made the experience that much greater.

I would highly recommend Tori as an artist and Human Kanvas as a hub for getting your tattoos. Especially Tori if you are a fan of water coloring!

I will definitely be returning as a long term customer to continue my sleeves.

Absolutely love my new piercings! Brooke was amazing and so comfortable to be around. Made me feel at ease and was done quickly! Will post photos of the healed piercings later on obviously lol. Highly recommend for dermal piercings!

I started going to Kaily for my piercings and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. She’s done an amazing and detailed job on all my piercings in addition to having a great selection of body safe jewelry.

I got my conch done today by Kaily, and she did such an amazing job! My appointment was at 12: 30, and I came in a little bit earlier and she was able to take me in right away, which I really appreciated. They have so much jewelry to choose from, the one I chose was a little bit on the pricier side, but it’s great quality! The building was very welcoming and clean, and the staff were amazing and answered all my questions. I was a little nervous about getting pierced at human Kanvas just because I’ve never been there before, but I would definitely recommend going there if you are looking for a piercing place:)

I had my first tattoo done by Dawn during the Red Deer tattoo show, it was honestly a great experience from start to finish. I was super nervous at the beginning and Dawn made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. I honestly couldn't be happier with how it turned out! Also, everyone I spoke to at the booth were absolute gems. Hands down my favourite studio at the entire show and it looks like I'll be making quite a few more trips to Calgary now Cheers to a great studio with some really top notch artists, truly a cut above the rest!

Wish i could rate this 0/5 stars due to poor customer service.i brought my sister and cousin in today to get a piercing each.the girl working the front desk was so rude, she seemed annoyed that we were there.will not be returning for any other services.i’m very disappointed.

I got my first tattoo here and really happy with how it came out! The one who did it was a lasy named Tori. She's very sweet and funny and provided excellent customer service. Its a clean place with friendly people. If you are looking to get video game/anime kind of tats, you should check her stuff. Will most likely comeback for my next:)

I've been to this location a few times now for myself and my teenager. We have had piercings done by all the piercers and have no complaints.

We had a bit of a misunderstanding but the owner was very kind and accommodating. My artist was Ryan, a very talented artist and professional. Would 100% recommend getting a tattoo from him.

I've been coming here since I was 18 and still my go to shop and im now 28! The people there are just as lovely as the shop itself! Too tattoos and piercings, thanks for all the amazing art work and body piercings you have given me in the past 10 year span and many more to come!

I just went in today to get my rook and my nose pierced today by Kaily and she did a fantastic job! She was super sweet and friendly. I’m so happy with my new piercings! The jewellery is the nicest and best quality I’ve ever been pierced with. I’ve never been able to get my nose pierced with a tiny gem and Human Kanvas made that happen. Will definitely be back for any future piercings! Thanks again Kaily!

First off the shop is really neat and tidy. The staff were all friendly.

My tattoo artist was named Katie. These two tattoos are my first ones. So I had no idea what to expect. She was also prepared for the appointment. It was one session to get it all done. I sent two sketches in advance to Katie and then reviewed the artwork she produced the day of the appointment. These two tattoos have a lot of meaning for me so it was important to get it right.

Katie did an amazing job transferring the concept to the reality. There was no rush and she was easy to talk to during it. I'm 100% pleased with the results. The 5 day removal of the second skin cover and all is well with the work.

I will be booking with Katie again down the road for sure. Great job Katie of making my first time a positive and awesome experience.

My friend and I got tattoos from Daniel. He did an amazing job! It was a drawing that I had designed and he brought it to life in the most amazing way!

My tattoo experience with Tori was incredible, very understanding and tried her best to go slow for me due to my self harm scars, everyone seemed very lively and just caring for their clients either way. Had a great time!

I got my daith pierced with Brooke today, and I’m so so happy I did! Her vibes and the atmosphere in the room were amazing. She was so kind and reassuring, and made me feel so comfortable. She was incredibly informative, and I left feeling like I had been pierced by someone who actually knew what they were doing for the first time.

The shop and staff as a whole are really welcoming as well. Totally recommend this place.

Got my second tattoo done at sunridge with Chris and had a great experience with my first time with Human Kanvas. Great energy and lovely people working there. Very clean.

Wasn’t happy when I left at all, but I was understanding so I provided discreet feedback about my experience. I was emailed back “I’m sorry you feel that way” and a bunch of reasons it was my own fault having paid $500 for 3 little squiggles.
Empathy goes a long way, but I guess you don’t need it when you’re better than everybody else.

Highly recommend. Have gotten several tattoos from Jay (Airdrie) over the years. Very professional. High quality. My first tattoo looks like it was done yesterday. Couldn't be happier.

I went to 3 other shops, and called plenty others to try and find a flat disc for my jewelry with no luck, and this shop pulled one out in the right size and half the price of another shop with no issues. I only wish I had called here first

Recently got my ears pierced and they are very uneven. And their own collection of jewelry is overpriced with not much selection. Would not go again and definitely would not recommend to anybody.

I got my nipples done in March and then downsized last week. I had a different person for each service and they were both lovely. Emery did my piercing, she was awesome! It hurt WAY more than I thought it would and she was awesome. I wish I could remember the name of who helped me in the next session but she was just as kind.
The shop is very clean! Everyone is always smiling and welcoming.
Highly recommend!

After 7.5 long years of looking for a tattooist and tattoo shop, it was a pleasure to have met Jon in the spring at the Sunridge location. The shop is highly professional, very clean and well sanitized. The staff are very friendly and really easy to talk to. I absolutely love the work Jon did and can't wait to come back soon to continue on with the back piece. Keep up the great work to Jon and everyone at Human Kanvas.

I got tattooed by Tori and not only is her work amazing but she made me feel very comfortable and at ease the entire session! All the other artists were very kind, the shop was clean and professional and overall I would highly recommend this shop!

My overall experience here was unfortunate. The shop was clean, the piercer was friendly and knowledgeable too, but I went in for my first attempt at my appointment and had it rescheduled due to a miscommunication for what I wanted. That was fine because the artist offered a discount, but I asked for a soft dainty Haku styled dragon and got a Shenron styled dragon. I needed minor touch ups too but never want to return here again.

Had a session with Jon. Good lines and I left very happy with my ink. Would recommend 5/5. He offers free touch ups too and pricing was fair.

Just went in today, and my experience was absolutely amazing, my mom got a walk in nasal piercing and I got a walk in tattoo, and they were beyond professional, a solid 10/10 experience. We are all the way from Grande Prairie, and now everytime i would like another piercing or tattoo, I’ll be coming to human Kanvas, it’s definitely worth the 8 hour trip

Loved Brooke and Jamie. Me and my 13yr old little sister came in to get our noses our's done (with parental guidance). VERY clean and professional.
