Humpty's Big Plate Diner - Grande Prairie

Came to GP for two weeks work and had breakfast here a few times. Solid food, good prices and loved the service!

Stopped for late night travel/bathroom break and snacks. But bathrooms where locked up and my grandson and I simply left, if you cant not use the restroom I'm not spending money there.

First of all we were told two new cooks got hired and our food would still be prepared in good quality like usual. After 45 mins of waiting for our food it was presented warm not hot. I asked the waitress to heat my food in microwave and waited an additional 10 minutes. To top things off the waitress started to gather dishes while some of us were still eating which annoyed me because I was interrupted while I ate having to help her. The food was good if it is served hot otherwise. I felt rushed eating which I did not appreciate.

Always a great visit here for breakfast! Can get pretty busy on Sundays for brunch, but the staff handles it great! Super friendly visits everytime, with good service! I would much rather visit this Humptys!

Probably some of the best customer service I have ever seen at a restaurant! They never let My coffee cup run dry and food tasted amazing! I highly recommend

Good experience, staff are friendly and efficient. Special requests are accommodated with a smile. Food quality and quantity is good for the price.

Our waitress was one of the best waitresses I've ever had. Wish I had asked her name but she was just great. Funny, friendly, and really knew her crowd. Food was delicious.

Ordered skip the dishes from here 1 week ago and got the eggs Benny. I ended up in the hospital with salmonella posioning. Don't eat here unless you wanna die, shouldn't be allowed to serve food. I would have wrote this review sooner if I wasn't so deathly ill.

Pancake mix not enough baking powder so not light and fluffy. Dense and not appealing. Kids cheese sandwiches were not consumed by any of my 4 kids. Cheese thick and chewy not warm and melted. Expensive when compared to Denny's. Bathrooms are shared with the gas station and market within. Usually inadequate and not monitored by either store or restaurant. Seems always to be under new manager and of late new owner. Go to the other one in Grande Prairie near Canadian Tire. Manager or owner is hands on and it shows. This location is primarily there because rent is cheap yet the other one pays substantially more in rent and survives with the same pricing in effect. Do not recommend.
