H&W Produce

Very good and cheap place for most of your fruits and vegetables, they pretty much carry the majority of your needs form fresh produce, almost the same as Walmart and real Canadian superstore
The price is pretty good most of the time, but unfortunately the quality isn't always there, sometimes you even winder if it's even legal to be selling some of the items on the shelf when they start molding and changing colors, but like they always say, you get what you pay for
Just don't plan of having the best quality in the market with the cheapest price available

We bought green almonds and it tasted too bitter to eat and i text them on messenger no response at all

If I wasn’t on such a tight budget, I likely wouldn’t shop here. They often have equal or better prices than superstore; however, the accessible doors don’t work and have not been fixed in years. I also called today specifically asking for chayote squash, as Superstore was sold out. I was told there were lots. I found out when I got there that no, in fact, they don’t even sell that. Staff could use more training to differentiate their product, and building entry needs to be made more accessible.

A variety of fresh and locally produced groceries for a very affordable price, especially when you catch the Wednesday and Saturday flash sales (check on Facebook page). This location has bargain boxes that goes quick in the morning - usually a swarm of people beelining for the boxes behind the tills. Only thing is: check the produce if packed in clamshells or bags as they can be more bruised. E.g tomatoes, apples, berries.

I would definitely recommend this store to anyone the produce is excellent and competitively priced

They have a really good selection of fresh vegetables and fruit for really reasonable prices. Their staff is always really nice and knowledgeable.

Amazing selection of fruits and veggies at surprisingly low prices. Stop shopping at the big guys, who have crappier quality stuff for sometimes up to double the price, and start giving this place your business.

This is our favorite produce place. Its always clean, organized, and well stocked.
Genevieve is our favorite associate as shes so helpful and polite. Shes kind and welcoming. All very rare customer service standards these days. I recommend shopping here. They also have unbeatable prices. Enjoy everyone. And thank you H & W!

It was great until this year, all produce and fruit extremely expensive, I would prefer to go to Superstore for the freshness, as the produce they are selling very expensive, and making less customers buy, and no longer fresh. I would recommend to go to H&W Product at Millwood way-way cheaper, and fresh

Good selection of produce at good prices. Friendly staff. Items that are past their peak have big markdowns which helps people who need to budget, thank you (most grocery stores seem to just discard that).

Very nice out of the way place near a bus stop. This place was stocked with a variety of fruits vegetables some frozen and bakery items. They also have drinks. But the drinks change all the time. Staff are restocking product as needed and willing to give any assistance needed. There was no line up when I went to pay. It's a nice place if you don't want to go to the big name companies.

Good produce for really good pricing. All kinds of berries are available and for prices that beat anything the big chains have. Staff are friendly and willing to answer questions. SOME of their pricing models (corn) were suspect but I believe those issues have been corrected.

I’ve gone to this location for many years and they’ve always had a great selection of produce and it’s always been well maintained. However, my family don’t know if we should be returning as we’ve had numerous issues with the cashier, Navi. She is very rude and short tempered. She has yelled at both my parents because they could not hear her when she asked if they needed bags. With everyone wearing masks at the time, I feel a little humility and patience would have gone a long way. This has happened on many occasions. We used to love going to this location but she has made coming here unbearable. My parents now worry that they will be yelled at for not understanding what the workers are asking them.

The place itself is fairly priced. HOWEVER the parking lot is terrible with pot holes. I feel like I'm off roading.

Great prices! Grapes $1.49 lb and they were good. Oranges were real. Best priced fresh produce around Edmonton.

H&W Produce offers both better quality and lower prices than the big chains. Shopping here is a great alternative to giving your money to Loblaws or Sobeys.

Amazing prices! Lots of beautifu fresh vegetables. I was so happy didn't cost much for all I got. I will go back again for sure.

It's great here the staff are all very nice and respectful but my favourite out of them would be this one guy Joey Janko I asked for his full name so I could write a review I am very impressed with his service he should get a raise:)

My mother and I are big fans of H&W Produce. We can often buy a whole bunch of vegetables and fruits and walk away paying less than what we would at other grocery places. They're fresh and fully stocked for the most part. I enjoy getting these minimum price purchases for free items. Recently, if you bought $30 worth, you would get 2LBs of free strawberries!

I really dont understand the good ratings. I went there yesterday.completely dissapointing. First off, a worker, litterally told the custamer BEHIND me to cut in line to the next available cashier. I was next in line! And then today i called the manager to let know what happened. And he replied with with "ok whatever thanks". I wasnt rude, or yelling. I work as a cashier myself. And maaaan you do not do that to someone, let alone a custamer. Also the amount of plastic everyone was using. Can you guys not atleast attempt to fix that? Does anyone have a good cheaper produce store in edmonton that i can go to instead? Ive never been treated soo poorly in a general grocery store. Where and how are the ratings good haha

Today at 11: 55 I was there. I order case of tomato, cucumber and case of red cabbage. I was waiting in cashier for 15 minutes and no one
bring anything I Just let. I was regular customer but not anymore. Terrible services

Great if you don't mind your fruits over ripe. Cut into the apples I'd bought and they were all rotten on the inside. Not going back there ever.
To each their own.

I was next in line, and a worker points the lady behind me to an open till, while the till closest to me is closing. Horrible customer service, not enforcing any social distancing either.

This is a great store with great products and great people. I wish I could shop here more often, but most times its farther than I need to travel.

I love this place. Their prices can't be beat, selection is pretty good and quality is great, and the staff treat you like family. I'd recommend them to anyone, any day.

They have the freshest produce at the best prices and a lot of it is local. They also offer free items if you purchase more than $30.

I've also been going there for many years and was harassed a month ago. Edmonton has a mask exemption policy. If H&W refuses your mask exemption, record them openly stating they were refusing your service you are protected by the Alberta Human Rights Act. Then go get a lawyer, and start a human rights violation. The going rate is $20,000 for human rights violation. You are protected by our laws they have been warned by Edmonton City so I would take it to the next level and Sue them. The judge will have to decide and since of November 15th according to the media, of the 10900 deaths of that time only 166 people actually died outside of old age long-term care facilities. Should make an easy win.

Good prices, Great selection of Fruit and Vegetables. I find the selection and quality of produce much better than all the major stores. I don't understand why more people don't shop here.

We are so lucky to have a place like this in our city! Fresh (mostly local) produce and grocery items. Ever changing stock that includes locally made sauces, sausages, pitas, tortillas, fresh eggs and of course fruits and vegetables. I am always amazed at the variety of local products I can find here. Please support this local business when you can.

I always get so much fresh produce for so little! The staff are always friendly and helpful. The produce will vary in quality but for the price, it definitely makes it worth it. I suggest stopping here first to fill up on your fruits and veggies to stay healthy and on budget before visiting a large grocery store where you will spend a ton on unnecessary items!

Great place to get fresh produce. Great variety, great price, usually good quality but varies. Best deal for sure.even some local grown produce, which is great to support your local communities. Some specialty items as well.

Lots of fresh produce as advertised. From what I saw good prices. Came here to replace broccoli I got from walmart that went bad after 2 days. Good quality and taste. Will be back.
