H&W Produce

I was pleasantly surprised by the array of fruits available at this location. It's very accessible and the fruits looked fresh as well. They taste quite good too. I will certainly be a regular face at this spot for the foreseeable future!

Horrible Staff, immature children, giving wrong information, hanging out in the back, not working, called to order A case and within an hour, I wasted my time and gas going to get what I needed, only for the children working there to say they only have a case for the display and thought wasting my time was funny and laughed.

Reasonably priced produced. Customer service has improved in check out. Continue to be friendly with a smile and helpful on the floor.

Super solid prices. Dare I say best in Edmonton for produce. Some dairy and bakery items are also conveniently available. The food is seriously worth it with lots of quality food available here. Friendly staff and super service. I would highly recommend.

I would give you 4. Staff is good except for a cashier Susie. She gave over limit of pomegranate to one couple ahead of me on two different bills but refused to give it to me even though I went back a second time.and then a 40lb guy with a whiff of a beard showed up to confront. Uniformity is essential and personal preference should be avoided. I am ok she didn't give it to me but unhappy that she did it for the person just ahead of me. And then she tells me quote" You don't have to come back to the store". Amazing eh! Even if she owns the store, she cannot say that to a customer though! I guess you run your business based on customers eh!

Most fruit and veggies are good just have to watch what you buy. I am giving it 2 stars due to their staff harassing customers and when I called to bring it to their attention they said they would call back and never heard back yet and it still continued as well as younger staff being high at work which is unexcepttable. They would be great if only they acknowledged customer complaints and address the issue of using substances while working. * Would like to add to owners response. I have reached out multiple times and every time I get the same answer that they will call be back and update me on the harassment issue and yet to hear back from them. Even the said employee went out the back of the store to follow me outside even know no words were spoken or said to them. Its an ongoing issue and I will be respectful and not say the employees name on here as I have more respect than that.

Great prices, excellent quality. 4 stars because of lousy parking, and doors that open directly outside. Feel sorry for the staff that basically works in a refrigerator when it's the middle of winter.

A wide variety of produce with unbelievable prices. The staff are warm friendly and thoughtful.going the extra mile. Is definitely will Not be my last time. It is now my "go to'/" market

Excellent source of fresh veggies and fruits. My favorite place to shop. They have started giving away a free item on a purchase of $30-$40.

Been around for ages and their produce tells you why. Other than no one being around to help if you need anything, this place is awesome.

I love coming here for my produce. I find it fresher and lasts alot longer than any other grocery store. I also love that they sell alot of produce by the case throughout the year so it's easy to get things for canning and baking

This farmers market or produce store has good hygiene. The people there are really kind and polite and they also gave us a free bag of potatoes. We bought 7 cauliflowers. I also like how the place is decorated. But the only small little problem I would like to talk about is that some apples and fruits aren’t looking so comfortable. In fact, They have bad and mushy spots. But that’s nothing to complain about because the service and the hygiene are both 10/10s.

Millwoods location is the best spot for variety and quality! I go the extra mile to go to that place. You can sign up for their email to get alerts on sales. I picked up a crate of raspberries the other day for only $12! Reg Price $56 at any other store!

Wide selection of imperfect produce, good service.only buy if you cook frequently their produce goes bad faster than other stores.

I have been going to this location for almost a decade. Overall the produce is in good condition and very affordable for a family that mostly scratch cooks.

Choose another place to shop if you don't want to get yelled at "pull your mask up"! Very unprofessional staff! Maybe they should get educated that some people don't have to wear a mask due to health reasons! We had a bad shopping experience today!

Poor customer service whenever I call them to ask about vegetables price.they just disconnect my call or they put phone on side for 15 min.it happened today 10th time.very disappointed.not going anymore there.

There is accessible entry. Weekly specials greet you. If you spend over $30 you get free product. I had a cartful (spent $130) and the owner come over to me and personally offered me 10%off my bill. Plus the place is clean

I love how fresh most of the products look as well as the pricing. I just spent close to $20 there on fresh produce only, where as, if I was at a normal grocery store, I'd pay closer to $40-$50 on fresh produce alone.

Excellent choice of most fresh produce (fruits and vegetables), neat and clean place, and excellent staff, especially the pleasant young woman at the cash register. It was my first ever visit to H&W, and will always go there each time I am in need to buy fresh fruits and veggies.

This place alway keeps washemrooms closed dor the public The Manager is dodging the public. Pretetending in different ways. A COMPLAINT TO GOVT DEPARTMENT IS NEVESSARY.

My sister was in there yesterday. Apparently if a 6yr old child doesn't wear a mask the staff and manager embarrassed the parent in front of whole store including announcing not to serve them over the speaker. Maybe I should pay the manager a visit someday. Wouldn't recommend this store to anyone. My whole family has been going here since they opened.

We came to H&W first time Yesterday. We were served by Brooklynn & She is very helpful and we told her this is our first time here.she explain us about the store deals they have every week.
Also, its great place to get the fresh vegetables & fruits. I would like to highly recommend this place!

Good selection. At times reasonably priced. Friendly staff. But I wish they had options to those who can't where masks. In stead of discriminatory policy. Not allowing them in.

Cheap fruits and vegetables compared to other stores. I dont even mind how far it is from my house. They give you onions, apples or any other fruit for free if you spend a certain amount.

The parking lot SUCKS but this store has the *best* prices on fresh vegetables in South Edmonton, so I brave it weekly. They maintain clean floors, good customer service, and are always well stocked! Often there are fresh pita and baked goods from other local vendors, too.

I used to like this store for fresh veggies and fruit. But now all I find there is moldy, stale stuff that won't last 2 days.nice staff thought.

Walking into H&W Produce is the place to go for all your fruit and vegetable needs. They have many varieties of fruit local and exotic. At prices that will make you come back for more. Wide variety of vegetables from green leafy to dense tubers. They also sport large quantities of special root vegetables from around the globe. I am always amazed by what I get to see and taste. They have the best prices but one does need to use the fruit and vegetables up quick as they won't last long.

I like supporting this business but recommend going to one of the other locations. Capilano and West end are great, but this store in particular is terrible quality every time I go. Yesterday was the last time I'll "give it another go" at this location.

I come here for veggies.
Prices are very good and most of the time they give free something if you spent $30 or more, like one time I was given a bag of cucumbers, next time one pineapple, one watermelon for free.
They do have breads here as well by favourite is raisin bread.
Very limited selection for dairy produce only milk, butter and cottage cheese.
This place is usually crowded on weekends so have to look for parking.
Onions are fresh and big bags are on very good price as compared to other stores.
Most of the time if I buy big bag on onions from other stores most of the onion are bad but when I buy from here onions last longer and are not bad.
Bring your own bags.

Best source of produce in the city, best varied selection, lowest prices, always get free produce with purchases over a certain amount

This place, in my opinion, is one of the best stores you could buy produce from. The produce are mostly fresh, and the prices are, in most cases, more affordable than other stores. The workers are friendly for the most part. They have their not so great day, but that can be tolerated. One things that might touch many people is the gifts they offer their customers for spending about 60cad (am not too sure but, it shouldn't be more) there. You won't regret shopping there!

Very inexpensive here! I love it. The only drawback is that you have to check the fruits and vegetables fairly well. Which is fine for the price!

Great variety, good quality and reasonable price. Often they offer you a free gift on purchase of $25 plus.

Great produce prices, sometimes the quality isn't the best but you can't beat the price. Also usually carries hot peppers that are harder to find in regular grocery stores (scotch bonnets, habeneros)

By far the best selection of all the H&W stores in Edmonton. You can buy an entire fridge full of fresh fruit and veggies for like 30 bucks. Healthy is the only way to live! ;)

Our go to produce store. Great price, selection, friendly staff.always a great experience. Busy basically every time you go.but thats good.thats how you know its good.people go back again and again. Will probably be going there tonight or in the morning to stock up again.

Love H&W produce. Lots of variety. Great prices. Everyone is helpful and happy to help. They don't even mind my toddler running around while I shop.

This place tends to provide extremely great prices compared to other major stores in the area. I come here every week for groceries and I appreciate them taking the time to help local farmers and the fine quality of their produce!

I love the quality, variety, & pricing off all the fruits & veg here. Saves me sooo much money, and it’s all great produce.

What a great little place for produce. Fresh and lots of varieties. Found this tasty King island brand coconut water from there, will be stocking up for sure.

You cannot beat the produce pricing here, I believe it may be a little older produce to make certain not to overbuy and use what you buy fairly quickly.
