Great prices on produce. I start my shopping here first. Always fresh, the clearance bin is also great!

I love the store for the deals on fresh produce. Checking their posts on Facebook before going help me to plan my trip.

My kids also love getting a free fruit to enjoy while we shop.

Good prices, but know what’s worth buying and what’s not. Got 4 avocados yesterday and they were all rotting inside. Bummer.

I bought a mix of vegetables and fruits and they were all bad. I had to throw most of them away. They have to work on their quality and bring fresh stuff

Please last night we bought the broccoli they got full of warm last night we ate it as salad with my kids the test wasn't test good when my wife to close to see the whole broccoli was n warm inside I got the video to be share I will put n Facebook to be aware people it so green to be miss it and o m pretty sure still will be selling for 88 cents pound please check and put in garbage this really health issue

I love it here. Everything is fresh and it’s pretty busy and today they gave me a free bag of potatoes. It’s more than Costco ever gives anyone.

People are nice. The produce is usually mostly there, occasionally the quality is below the usual but that is everywhere.
I live close so it is my first go to place to get produce. I buy the $1.00 bag of apples when available and make apple pie or apple jelly out of that. You can't beat 5 apples for $1.00.

I love this store! Finally a grocery store where I have the option to not have to buy everything in plastic. I love that it’s locally owned, focuses on produce and the prices are good. You can feel good knowing you’re supporting local business and not giving money to a large grocery store chain that is making handover fist on Canadians backs.

My favorite produce store. Something for every budget. I like to come here every other day just for the quaint old fashioned market experience.

Great place for quality fruits and veggies. Usually prices are better than the big grocery stores. And their deals are unbeatable. Usually it's stock that is at peak freshness so use it right away. They also carry some local producers products which is great to see that they support local.

I just moved to the Capilano area and I decided to go to h&w produce after seeing the billboard. And HOLY SWEET BABY JESUS! If you're not buying your produce from here, you're doing it wrong.

I went to 3 or 4 different stores looking for rutabagas for Easter dinner. Day of, didn't think I'd find them anywhere and had left all the produce shopping until the last minute. Wasn't expecting much, especially on a holiday, but the store had pretty much everything I could think of needing for dinner. Very clean, well stocked, and has fresh fruits and veggies. Will definitely be coming back

I love this H&W, the staff are so nice, store is always neat and tidy and the produce is always clean and fresh.
They have a fantastic selection and the prices can't be beat.
This H&W is always my first choice for produce and I will continue to shop there.

ONLY ONE THING.wish when the really good sales came on, they'd limit the items so that everyone could get a chance to get some of that produce.

This is one of my favourites. Its tiny and easy to do quick trips. Plus its always very affordable

I drove in from out of town and the drive was so worth it! From beginning to end I thought the experience was fantastic. Good food, great prices, but most of all the manager and the cashier were kind and thoughtful in every way. These employees are special

We have purchased most of our produce from this store last 3 years since we moved to Capilano area. Today I needed to buy some pita bread in a rush and unfortunately forgot to have a mask with me. Thought it is olnly one item and be a quick one, I went in. As I was getting the bread I was asked to put a mask on by one of the workers and told the girl I was there only for bread and didnot have a mask and if they gave me one i could use it. She was fine with it and i picked up the bread and lined up to pay. When i was waiting in line, second lady came and asked me about mask and i told her the same thing. But this time I was offended the way she talked with me. She was not polite at all and wanted me out of there quicly so she offered to help me on the other cashier. When we came to the other cashier, I wanted her to know that I felt harassed by her coming up to me like that.
Then she became more agressove and told me she is not selling me the items anymore and i have to leave. I could not believe what I heard. She said it is a store policy we cannot serve maskles people.
However she was going to do it had i not told he i felt harrassed by her earlier reaction. I said i would like to record this, and she told me everything again whe i was recording the conversation. Then I asked to speak with the manager and she said she is in charge and continued beind quite rude. Meanwhile the other girl called the manager and the manager was polite and exppaine their store policy etc. As a result i could not buy what i needed. I am very upset with this and not recommend buying anything from there in the future. And I
dont think they can survive as a busines if they continue treat their customers like this.

This location is the best. Great way to shop n support a local business and produce. They have some great deal on as well. Follow their facebook or web.

Good prices, good staff. Sometimes the produce is going off, but that's barely a complaint in the grand scheme of how much I like this store.

A great place to get lower cost veggies for budget-conscience shoppers. Some produce will have a short shelf life so prefer to make several smaller shops. The is also a nice selection of local-made foods, like Italian Bakery, Sunbake Pita, preserves, dumplings, tortillas etc. The staff works quite hard. Bring your own bag, (charge for bags) or use one of the many available cardboard boxes to pack your food no-charge.

The owner and manager are second to none. The fruit and produce is bought directly to ensure customers get the best prices. If there is ever anything wrong with your purchase, they will take care of it without question.

It was lovely! Had the kindest staff, looked clean, safe and awesome interior, felt like i was in a indoor farmers market!

I have a two person household and we’re eating 10 pounds of the most delicious bc blueberries by the fistfuls, for just over 20 bucks.this is the best store ever.

This place was so nice inside! We checked it out for the first time today, and were very impressed. They had a lot of selection for great prices.

Such great deals on fresh fruit and veggies, maybe the best in the city! They also sell breads from the Italian Bakery and other local products. I live near NAIT and would love if they opened up a location in that area!

Great place to go for your produce needs. They always have good prices, and some cool local jams or something to buy.

Almost always well stocked. Sometimes the freshness of some products (mostly berries) is hit or miss, provably because the volume of customers is less than the big box stores. This is my go-to place for most produce as it is cheaper than the big stores and much of it is "local" (BC and Cali). There is always a weekly deal (buy $30 worth of produce, get a free item). Seasonally they have sales for flats of berries, so it's a good time for freezing for smoothies or making jam. Highly recommend. Follow them on FB to see location specific photos and weekly deals.

Good place for cheaper fresh fruits, vegetables and produce. Friendly and helpful staff, abiding by all precautions necessary to keep us all safe during these Covid times.

Free thing after you spend $30.

Pricing is very seasonally dependant as is most produce. But the quality is usually very good.

There are some times that the items I am looking for are just this side of bad, as if that's never happened at a box grocery? ! So, you make do!

Lots of great variety, delicious local products available! They even sell eggs, bread, vegan products, salsa, hummus (at a price).

Seriously. My go to.

Box instead of bag. Reusable produce bags available.

Prices seem alot cheaper than Wal mart or Safeway. I love the quality of the produce in H & W!
Where as in Walmart the produce always looks old and dry!

Love this place, i follow them on facebook so i can know what their sales are, and the sales are always super awesome! I have a rabbit and im vegetarian so we both eat a looott of veg. Lovely little place.

Great produce at great prices compared to most stores. You often get a free item just for buying $30 worth of food. I've gotten free pineapples, cauliflower, onions etc.

Love this place sometimes I find better deals elsewhere bit on average this is the cheapest and freshest produce in the city.

Better prices than the big grocery stores. Better selection in my opinion too. I reliably get some kind of fruit and vegetable for less than $1/lb, where that doesn't always happen at other stores. I love the $1 per bag random fruit too

Prices aren’t bad but I have discovered that if you don’t use the product right away, especially strawberries and other fruit it goes bad really quick.

Their weekly specials are awesome. This store has the best customer service, their staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The store has a variety of local products and no to mention the most amazing veggie samosas ever. The store is very clean and organized. They have great parking, their bathroom is clean and they go above and beyond by carrying heavy groceries to my car. Thank you H&W Capilano

The store manager is a very smart lady. She educated me on the microgreens they sell. It's local too. My favorite is the pea shoots.

Love this place! This location specifically. Their produce is nice and fresh, lots of local produce. Great pricing! They also have your basics like milk and bread, but not only that they carry special locally made products like kolbasa, hummus, pasta sauce, pierogies, samosas and more. Highly recommend

My go to spot for produce. Things are usually cheaper, they carry alot of exotic fruits and veg, staff are friendly and helpful. Local produce is always available and it's nice to put money back into the hands of local producers.

Love this store. Good deals and quality produce. This location isn't as nice at the west end one but happy to have it handy to stop at.

They have great selection, but it's hard to find fresh basil! But I love the free item when you spend a certain amount.

This is one of my favourite places. The produce is very reasonably priced and always a variety of items on sale. There is always a free item offered to those who spend $30+. Free items I have received for example: 3 pack of romain hearts, 10 lbs of potatoes, and a bag of onions. It is so worth it to make the extra stop after the supermarket.

Great little market where you can actually pick 2 or 3 of things. This means less is wasted. So nice to have fresh fruit and veggies. And the prices are good!

Nice and fresh and relatively cheap. They even have normal sized rather than the puny Hass variety you get at other grocers. Smaller than the West Ed location, but still reasonable.

Absolutley love this place! Very affordable, very nice staff! Always fresh selection! And bonus.you always get a free goodie based on how much you spend! 100% suggest getting produce here!
