Iv been going to this location for nearly 10 years and had nothing but good experience (s) either your new in the hobby or well verse You always learn something new with staff who knows there stuff.

I went into hydro-lite hydroponics north side today. I just want to give a huge shout out for the customer service and products I received today.

I called to ask about a product for my axolotl aquarium. I never caught the gentleman’s name but he was great! Helped me out big time with all of my questions. I dropped by later and was helped by a lady who was equally awesome!

They truly took the time to help me (and answer my 100’s of silly questions).

Great job! You truly made my day. I was so stressed and ended up leaving with exactly what I needed.

Showed up there a couple of days ago, wanting the lowdown on hydroponic systems. My goodness, I can't believe how much Solange was helpful, professional, and patient with me! Will keep coming back again, and again, and again, and again! Thanks SOLANGE!

Tons of different fertilizers, liquid or otherwise. Worm casings, potting soil, pruning shears, ph down products, insecticides (I was there for Dr doom thrip killer: (), various grow lights and other hydroponic supplies. Friendly and helpful staff.

Big selection, and the products are quality

We pick up products here on their recommendation, and it works out great!

The dry and liquid organic nutrients, aswell as the organic soil is top shelf

The organic soil is nice and fluffy, fresh, and it doesn't compact into clay when it's wet, like the soil from the hardware stores

We recommend hitting this place up FIRST! For anything horticultural.

I purchased a few seed trays and domes from this location. The associate who was helping me had given me 7" domes instead of 4". I didn't realize this until I had purchased another drome and tray a month later with the help of an associate who identified himself as the new guy. Well, the new guy gave me the correct tray and dome. Thankfully I was also able to exchange the 7" domes, but unfortunately one of the domes was missing a vent controller. They said that I can return to the store and they'd give me a replacement controller that supposedly came from the same brand. I picked up a replacement which turned out to be the wrong size. The controller would not securely lock because the hole and tab were not the same size. All the other controllers on my domes were different to the replacement. After speaking with the assistant manager, she said to bring the controller back and they'd make it right.

The following day I returned to the store and to my disappointment, all the vent controllers that they had were the same size as the one I was returning. To get this issue resolved, I would need to return the dome itself. Since I didn't bring the dome, I suggested that they just remove a controller from another dome so I didn't have to make another trip. Their response was that I use tape to hold down the controller. What difference would it make if they take a controller from a dome in the store or if I returned the one I had? You're still stuck with a dome that has a missing controller. Also why should I have to modify a part to "make it right"? What would be the point in returning to the store if they could've just suggested using tape while I was on the phone? After some fencing, the assistant manager finally decided to take a vent controller from another dome and give it to me, but instead of taking it from the 4" dome, she took it from the 7". Apparently the controllers are different sizes as well.

I'm going to make one last trip. The three stars goes to the new guy who was knowledgeable and considerate to the customer. Good job!

Always helpful, and they always have what you need. Prices can be a bit premium, but they carry premium products that work. I've relied on Hydro-Lite for a decade.and it's always been good growing with their help.

Very knowledgeable staff that are willing to help you out. Jacob helped me out with purchasing the right products for starting an indoor hydroponic garden. At first I was looking at aerogarden, but glad I didn’t go with it as buying my own supplies costed way less, as well as I am growing 8 plants, as the aerogarden I could afford could only grow 6. Here I was taught about the lighting, planting, temperatures and ph levels. I don’t have recent pics but so far my lettuce/herb garden is growing great so far. They also have a super cute pet bird inside. Thanks guys!

I cannot fully express what this store means to me as well as the people in the community they have (and continue to) Inspired. When my dad had cancer it was a place where we could always go and smile no matter what was going on.
They have on deck some of the most gifted / experienced staff heavy equipped ; ready to help you with ANY questions, a " no dumb questions; only dumb answers " type place. From an apricot to a zucchini and everything in-betweeni. I feel truly blessed to have a team with encyclopedic knowledge right a minute away.
They are a pillar of the community built upon excellent customer service!

First experience: Initial thoughts online are wow, good inventory, store must be huge, great prices. Storefront is misleading and looks sketchy but inside they really designed the layout well. I came for black pots and drainage trays (they have samples hanging directly in front of you when you walk in) but I will also come back for soil, bark, and perlite. The woman at the counter was sweet and welcoming, warm smile. Asked if I found everything OK and if I needed anything from the back. I would encourage you to ask questions here as it is a tight space and small but I think they have loads of stuff in the back that aren't out. She got me the pots I needed from the back. Checkout was easy. Location is good for both west end and east end people as it's right in the middle. I also love that they have an account online, I've saved some things to my cart so I can be ready to restock later. <3 Thank you!

Absolutely love this place! The staff is very well educated and friendly. Gotta say though Pam is my ultimate favorite, (sorry guys lol) she always answers my many questions and explains things just perfect to me so I take all the education in and it’s actually remembered (I have pseudo Dementia)

I absolutely LOVE this place. It is the BEST store to get all your growing needs. I usually deal with a lovely lady named Pam there. She is extremely knowledgeable about her products and growing in general. She has a good sense of humor as well, she always make me and my disabled wife feel extremely welcome there. I highly recommend this place for all your growing needs and if you just have questions to ask they are always there to help

I just love this store! It's the adult equivalent of a toy store for me. The staff are friendly and passionate, the prices are good and Hansell (the pet bird) is adorable.

Well here's the truth about this place they are under new management and they suck. They haven't even heard of customer service and they dont know a thing about growing.

I've had to return more things than I have kept in the past few months that's how pathetic it is.

Anyone who takes their advice on how to grow should throw away their product and start again 3/4 of them dont even grow cannabis they all talk smack.

Dont go here save yourself the trouble.

Purchased an intake fan that was not powerful enough for my room, cindy no questions asked returned my items and got me the right intake fan I needed and even discounted it for me on top.

We owe it all to Hydro Lite and their team, starting 3 years ago buying our first nutrients all the way to getting set up as a micro cultivation facility! I absolutely love this place I have been going here for six years the staff is fully knowledgable friendly helpful and will do whatever it takes to get you what you need… Don’t forget people you do need a receipt to return stuff just like anywhere else… I highly recommend going to see the people at Hydro light north or south.
