NEVER BUY FROM HERE!
I bought a Santa Cruz about a year ago. For more than half that the AWD has not worked. I’ve taken it in to be fixed 8 times. As of writing it’s been sitting in their shop for a month and a half. They never even offered a loaner. I asked for one 3 weeks ago and I still have nothing. Ridiculous. I’ve contacted Hyundai Canada 6 times to tell them how dangerous this vehicle has become. They don’t seem to care either. HUGE RIP OFF!

Super helpful staff, & great customer service. I test drove a couple cars before I found one that was suitable for me.

Once I did they took care of getting my registration all sorted, delivered my car to me the next day (since I was unable to pick it up)!

My car came dilawri certified and on the second day I had it it began misfiring anytime it went over 70km/hr. They promptly fixed it, and leant me a courtesy car for the day that it was in the shop.

Would definitely purchase from them again!

Worst Customer Service. Extra Charges on invoice that you would never be informed about, nor justified. Even denied to give back my keys saying "we do not service the customers who do not pay their bills". Why should a Customer Pay charges that do not make sense or were never informed about in advance.

Agree Appointments are priority, but when you promise a customer priority when the customer walks in and the next day, inform back saying we have a lot of cars, not sure when we would be able to check on your car, isn't expected.

From start to finish, this dealership and its staff delivered impeccable service! No other dealership I’ve been to comes remotely close to this team. Jesse from sales perfectly curated a selection of vehicles based on my criteria. This dealership has an incredible selection, but one caught my eye the most! To get things sorted throughout the process, this team made it extremely easy despite my hectic work schedule. Always keeping me in the loop, offering multiple options, responding in a very timely manner, and working things out every step of the way. The professionalism of everyone was also top tier, Aaron & Katie - sales managers - were extremely helpful to get things sorted and finalized. Extremely disappointed with this dealership. I had bought 2 vehicles from them, a 2008 Hyundai Accent and a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe XL. Last May 2023, my Santa Fe’s aircon was emitting hot air and I noticed that the radiator fan was not running as well. I thought that probably it was the fan that needed repair not the aircon based on what I read on the internet. So I brought in my vehicle for diagnostics and repair. They came back with the “supposed” diagnosis that the fan module needed to be changed for a $1,000 and the aircon hoses needed to be changed and the aircon recharged for another $1,000. They also said that my rear brakes needed to be changed. Due to tight finances, I chose the recommendation that the fan be changed because the dealership noted the danger of engine overheating. Imagine my surprise when I picked up the vehicle and the fan still wouldn’t work. They then told me that the aircon needed to be repaired as well in order for the fan to function. I was upset but could not do anything but pay for the $1,000 for the fan module but seriously doubted whether there was actually anything wrong with the fan module. Otherwise my vehicle would not be released.

I brought my car to another mechanic and the mechanic told me that the aircon leak was so small that it could be repaired by just applying “StopLeak”. He loaded freon on the aircon system and the aircon up to this day is still cold as again the leak is so small. The mechanic said because the leak is so small, the freon would last until December 2023. Furthermore, the mechanic told me that the rear brakes are still good and can run even for another 1 and ½ years without any safety concerns. He also doubted that the fan module was broken as he had never heard of a fan module being broken.

As a 2-time purchaser of Hyundai vehicles from this dealership, I am now firmly against purchasing any Hyundai vehicles and would also discourage anyone to do so especially my friends. After what I had experienced, I am extremely upset that this dealership had done and tried to do to me (and also most likely to other people) which is to make people pay for imagined repairs. I used to enjoy driving my Santa Fe XL but now every time I drive it, I am reminded of my terrible experience and I can’t wait until it is paid off and I can dispose of it and get another vehicle which is not Hyundai. A very horrible and terrible experience!

A big shout out to Hyundai Gallery's service department for the timely and excellent job they did to get our 2022 Kona N Line back to us after having issues over the holidays. The SUV wouldn't start and the dealership we purchased it at (South Trail Hyundai) told us that we were basically out of luck until the 10th of January, that would have been 18 days to get help! The service department manager didn't even return our calls and quite frankly she's a joke. We can't say enough about our experience with Hyundai Gallery and kudos to them for helping us out in our time of need.

So far no stars. We dropped our car on Monday as it’s not starting (had it towed there). We’ve heard nothing from them all week. My partner called a couple of times and was told they’d take a look at it tomorrow. He went over to the dealership today to see what’s going on, and there’s not even a work order been opened on it, even though I spoke to someone directly when we dropped it off. Can’t even say very poor service as so far (5 days) we’ve had none.

My experience with this place has been nothing short of fantastic. From the first moment stopping in to look at a vehicle with my daughter to the maintenance and service appointments. This is the type of service and experience that is claimed only happened in yesteryear: friendly faces, honest exchanges, fair prices and genuine good will. I’m not kidding! It’s crazy. It’s human interaction and care like you would expect in the 1950s. When I was grabbing a coffee today a service adviser that had helped me many, many months ago came out of the back and when he recognized me he called my name in greeting! No kidding, it was like that tv show Cheers! The guy’s name is Jeff Stewart, and he’s a prince, a real testament to humanity and service. The Hyundai product itself is extremely well priced and functional, but I dare say that the service and experience of being a customer of this branch is even more exceptional.

These 5 stars are for Nada and Hailey these two women made my experience of buying a car so smooth. The situation was going sideways until both of these lovely women got their hands on this and made sure my buying experience was a good one. Keep up the good work Hailey and Nada your both an asset to any car dealer no matter where you go. The best customer service! Also have a great little story to tell that I forgot to share. When I was about the same age as my son so 4 years old I also helped my grandparents choose 2 cars from the Hyundai dealer in Chilliwack BC and now my 4 year old son has done the same for me. So it’s kind of a family thing.

This dealership servicing is horrible, I bought a car from them on May 9th, praising their quality of giving me a good price but alas little did I knew about their service center, I am beyond frustrated for their service center as they wants me to help in the minimal way possible, the GM doesn't care neither the owner and pretty sure I have to involve local news company to get their attention, which I am going to do soon. Overall very frustrated!

I took my car Hyundai Santa fe 2020 44k km at the beginning of July 2022 because the air conditioning didn’t work. With only 44000 km it is assumed that the guarantee should still apply, but after 3 days waiting for an answer for them to fix it, the person in charge of service contacted me and said that guarantee was not cover and the cost was around 400 dollars, after I called a lot of people, no one helped me solve the issue and after 4 days I picked up from the dealer and they charged 744 dollars. NO OPTION to opt out, I had to pay because it was summer and the weather was hot outside.
So what it is that Hyundai promises that guarantee is 5 years or 100 000 km, but in reality they didn’t cover any guarantee and they never told me that it wasn’t not going to be covered. Hiding promises from the dealer and Hyundai as well. Dishonest. I’ve been buying cars from Hyundai since 2012 and I’m very disappointed of this dealer, the services and Hyundai Canada. They don’t care the client.

! BE VERY CAREFUL!

I brought my 2013 Elantra in for an engine knock that is currently covered under warranty. However I was told they would not honor the current full replacement warranty and instead just cover the engine, but I had to pay for the work to be done.

I was quoted at $5770.44 for the parts and 20 hours of labour. $4546.20 for labour and $1206.24 for a few additional parts. I was a bit curious on how they came up with this number since $4546.20 at 20 hours is 227.31$/ hour, which is a very high shop rate.

I fought the price and was forwarded onto another person who told me the correct price was actually $2849.95 at a shop rate of $149.95 at 19 hours of labour.

They tried to over charge me $1697.15 hoping I would just not know how the system works. Be very careful of this practice since they will just be stealing from honest customers who don't want their engine to die on the highway.

I will continue to fight this price though since this engine type is covered under a secret warranty that Hyundai doesn't want people to know about since they are losing millions on dollars on unsafe engines. FYI this recall was a class action lawsuit in the states.

I’m going to leave a review based on the following.

SALES:
I practically bought my vehicle because of a persistent sales man who periodically kept following up. Now we all know how sales people often are. Gianni Zabat, first understood my needs and provided me with what I wanted. If he didn’t follow up with me, I may have never gone with Hyundai Gallery. Post sales, he continued and consistently made me feel like a valued customer, responding to my concerns.

SERVICE: I recently went in to get my first service and was met by one of the the service advisors, Jeffrey Stewart was nothing short of phenomenal, patiently listening and explaining what I needed to know, understanding my concerns and ensuring my vehicle was ready before the communicated estimated time. I realize that I may have had a completely different experience if I was met by someone else but my first service experience was an incredibly pleasant one because of Jeff. Let’s not forget Ali Alhajiri who ensured my vehicle was washed clean and ready for me to pick up!

If you’re going in to buy…find Gianni and if it’s service? Jeffrey is definitely your man!

I was given the opportunity to trade in my vehicle and approached the situation with a very cynical mindset, thanks to a past negative (slimey) experience with car salesmen. However was pleasantly surprised to be met with Gianni and Ben's wonderful and friendly service. I didn't feel pressured or swindled at all by them, and they are downright delightful to do business with. I am more than happy with my experience and got a fantastic deal on a fantastic vehicle, I would recommend this team to anyone looking for a new whip!

Great service & experience purchasing a new vehicle from the friendly staff at Hyundai Gallery. They were receptive to my needs of finding a vehicle on short notice & got me set up with my new car within a week of my first contact with them, especially considering the cureent market. The whole process was very straight forward & all charges were outlined clearly by staff throughout every step of the buying process.
Brandon, Nada & Mirwaiss were all spectacular in the service they provided & all deserve nothing but praise. Shoutout as well to the guy working in Parts who's name I didn't grab who was also super helpful in getting me a cargo tray for the car despite his computer shutting down multiple times on him!
I will definitely be recommending visiting them to any friends or family looking to purchase new vehicles in the future.

I was treated great as a customer. When I had an appointment, they drove me from far away to their location. The people there really take their time to figure out a good deal for you. Whenever I had questions, they were answered. Also, since this dealership is part of the Dilawri group, they can refer you to and recommend more car brands.

I just purchased my 4th vehicle from Hyundai Gallery, and do not have anything negative to say about this amazing dealership! The sales team is awesome, from Nathon to the sales Manager! The whole process went off with out any issues at all! Also would like to mention Nada from the finance department, she is super friendly and made sure everything was perfect before I signed the deal! Hyundai gallery is my go to dealership and I highley recommended them!

I took my car in for a safety recall, turned out there were 3 recalls on my vehicle. They thoroughly explained what they were looking for and upon return to pick up my car they went through everything that was repaired or passed inspection. They were very professional and pleasant. The service was faster than they estimated, always good! They also offer a pick-up and drop off service for those who require them.

I purchased a new Elantra recently from Hyundai Gallery and the experience was great. Greg in sales and Rahul in financing were both very helpful and would recommend to anyways looking to purchase a vehicle.

Gallery was the only dealership I went to where they weren't trying to hide something from me once we started talking numbers. Greg gave me all the details and expenses upfront so there was no surprises. Greg also gave me a great deal.

Chad and David were great getting me hooked up with a low milage 2018 Elantra. I love this car and everything about it.

Giving 4 stars because when I picked up the car, the sunroof (the feature I was looking forward to the most) was not working and it took 3 visits over 4 weeks to get the sunroof working. This should have been checked and fixed before I picked up the car.

All that being said, I REALLY like the car I bought.

I was super blessed to have Bob Housely working with me on problems with my engine. Even tho it’s an older model of an Elantra, he was so thorough, so careful to ensure it was completely checked and fixed before returning the vehicle back to me. Even when it took more effort than first thought. I can’t recommend him enough. Service was so great!

Lack of humanity, lack of customer service, lack of support.they do not stand by their product. They WILL leave you high and dry without a vehicle to drive while yours sits in their shop untouched for days because, let’s face it - they don’t make money off of warranty work. So, regardless of how you make a living, they will put you on the back burner until it suits them, leaving you stranded without means of transportation because they’ve overbooked their loaners for ‘non-warranty money making business’. Don’t spend your hard earned money here, they don’t care for you after you’ve signed on the dotted line. On second thought, don’t buy a Hyundai regardless, they don’t stand by their product, even when you’re in danger while driving it, as well as anyone else on the road. Oh, and make sure you save up to afford the tow bill for their malfunctioning vehicle because they certainly won’t be paying for it or offering a service of ANY kind. Feel free to jump into the 3 week line up for a loaner vehicle.you know, once those non warranty ‘bill paying’ clients return one for you. Please, whatever you do… do not give this dealership/brand your money.

I was looking for a new SUV and was making my rounds to a number of dealerships. We visited Hyundai and dealt with Jack, a young, enthusiastic and professional sales person. I told Jack were were looking for a new Tucson, base model, preferably in a fun colour as Hyundai is one of the only manufactures that offer really fun colours. Jack took our info to his manager, Shane, who told Jack to show us a DEMO 2021 Tucson with more amenities than we wanted, in boring silver. My wife and I test drove it as leather seats and colour do not affect the ride. For the most part, the car rode well and was spacious and comfortable, but the engine let us down, big time. I am not sure if all Tucson’s drive this loud and under-powered after only 14,000 KMs, or if it drove so poorly because it is a demo that people bag on it. Either way, it was not the car we wanted to drive, and we are lucky we did as it was terribly underpowered and so very loud. Upon our return I told Jack we still had some cars to see, which is true. He got his manager to come speak to me. Shane, the manager, then gave me a rude lecture about why other manufactures suck and when my wife walked up, she thought I was in trouble because of the way he was speaking to me. He was rude, condescending, and arrogant. He told me he had a buyer for my trade in, which I didn’t have with me. Does this lie work on anyone? If I end up buying a Hyundai (unlikely) I would not visit this dealership again due the manager, Shane.

A couple years back, while my car was under warranty, I had water building up in one of my headlights. They told me that it was normal to see water in your headlight when I first went in. The second time I went in, after confirming with Hyundai that there should not be water in your headlight, they agreed to fix it. I considered the matter closed but it seemed very strange that they would say something so ridiculous.

After that, I had to bring my car in for a recall. To be clear, I don't blame Hyundai or Hyundai Gallery for that matter for the recall. Recalls happen with just about any car manufacturer. Part of the recall was that they asked me to bring in relevant receipts that were related to the recall. I did, the recall was performed, and I was told I would hear about the receipts I brought in within two business days. A week and a half later I had not heard a peep from them, and given my previous experience with the headlight I was more than a little suspicious. When I went in to talk to them about it, I decided to record the audio on my phone just in case they said something unbelievable such as "it is normal to have water in your headlight".

The manager began explaining that they would not be covering the receipts I had brought in, which I did not really find surprising, but when I mentioned out of courtesy that I was recording our interaction he completely lost it. He told me he would not say anything further, except that I had to leave the property immediately. He even threatened to have the police escort me off of the premises. He also said that going forward, they would not ever service my car again even if directed to do so by Hyundai Canada. I was polite and professional the whole time, the only thing I did was record my conversation with them.

I complied with their request and left the property. I ended up going to Precision Hyundai who gave me the same answers regarding the recall which once again wasn't surprising. However when I asked about their policy with recording he said that it was fine so long as I wasn't trying to record peoples personal information. This is completely reasonable and I would never do that anyway.

Hyundai Gallery's policy to ban anyone who records them permanently and threaten to call the police shows that they have no integrity and are not willing to be held to any level of accountability for their actions. I have no doubt that their policy of having zero accountability is going to put peoples lives in jeopardy given the importance of automotive safety.

Edit - if you still aren't convinced, ask yourself, how many times have you been in danger because someone wanted to audio record your conversation. If the answer is zero, check out their reply which i haved saved in case they delete it.

I have a 5 year old Elantra and it has less 40,000 km on it due to my illness cutting down on my driving time.
The staff is very friendly, they washed my car and made a nice list of what they “suggest” needs to be done with my next oil change.
But, as I was checking my car in, I was asked if my breaks were spongy and I said no, they were just fine. But due to the yearly or mileage chart that they have on maintenance it was done. So an oil change and doing maintenance on my car when it was just fine costed me over 200.00.
I wish that I could go get an oil change without being told that my low mileage car needs work when it really doesn’t.

I recently went there for routine service.they wanted to charge me about $300 for an issue they found with the blockheater of my 2021 palisade.
I decided to call the dealership I purchased the vehicle from (SHOUT OUT TO CROWFOOT HYUNDAI!), they got us in today, and just notified us the issue with the block heater could have NO way been caused by us, it was a faulty part. They are not charging us to fix it and told us it's about a 5 minute job.but again, hyundai gallery wanted $300 plus trying to upsell me on a bunch of things that weren't needed yet.

I guess the service department here likes to try to scam people

I wanted to leave some positive feedback regarding the service at this location. I was looking for roof racks for our Santa Fe and Dinno was able to help me out from start to finish. He communicated with me the entire time and went way above and beyond what I would consider normal customer service. This location is very lucky to have a guy like this working with them. I was in a car accident a month ago, unfortunately my 2005 Tucson had been written off and I was now on a hunt for a new vehicle. Hyundia Gallery (Lake Fraser Dr) has provided amazing maintenance on my 2005 vehicle for the past several years and I knew I wanted to buy my new vehicle with them!

Every employee that worked with us was very knowledgeable, professional, and so welcoming and truly made this process stress free and pleasant. Shane Vijay Mathew (Sale Manager) was so helpful and went above and beyond to find me the PERFECT vehicle that suited all my needs and exceeded my expectation. I am incredibly thankful for all of Shane’s work and effort during this process. His passion and dedication does not go unnoticed. David Long (Finance Manager) was great to work with! He was thorough, efficient, and very clear about my different financing options; and because of that the purchasing process was smooth and easy!

The customer service that we received was amazing – very quick to respond to phone calls and emails and their attention to detail was outstanding. We just purchased a 2016 Hyundai Accent though it looks brand new to us. We had such marvellous assistance from Greg McVee and David Long…we were treated like royalty. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend asking for Greg personally should you be in the market for a new or used Hyundai. Well done to the Team who made it good as new for us and at no expense to us. Highly recommend purchasing a new or used vehicle from Hyundai Gallery. Everyone there is wonderful. My sales representative, Patrick is courteous, professional, thoughtful and patient. He answered ALL my questions and was one time at every appointment. Same with Rahul, in the finance department. He was thorough and friendly, making sure all my options were presented to me without pressuring me to make any unnecessary purchases. I will definitely be back.

What define an amazing shopping experience for a new car - is a friendly and professional staff, who will go an extra mile for their clients and even do some magic in case it is needed.

Feels like all this place wants to do is sell you a new car. I always take my vehicle back to the same dealership I purchase it from, for service, as a gesture of good will. Always get approached to trade up. Brought my car in for an oil change, left with a new dent in my hood. Discussed it with the service desk and they said the manager will call me back Monday to discuss the situation. It's now a week later and I've left 2 messages for the "manager" and still no call back.
