IGA Banff

Good range of food stuffs BUT pricing is over the top and meat prices are far more expensive than in New Zealand, a country which I had thought was one of if not the most expensive to purchase meat in.

It’s quite big market. I can find everything that I need. And They have Korean cup ramen and quick instant rice.

This is one of a few big grocery store in Banff, staff are friendly, price is very reasonable if you consider the transportation. They also have the hot food section if you only want something to take back to your hotel room. Last week, we got some big help from the manager Jane, a big thumb up. Thanks a lot

Being Banff, it's "pricey" compared to the major centers, but clean, organized and well stocked.

Stopped in to get some pain reliever. Paid with US funds, and got the legal conversion rate. Very pleased with this place.

Its a good store! You can find almost everything in there! Got bunch of items but couldnt find a liquid charcoal starter hence 4 stars.

It's a grocery store! I like when they manage the parking lot for walk offs because it let's people who actually need groceries to actually park.

Like the convenience of the place. Just about the right variety (not the same as other busier IGA locations I've visited)

Compared to other stores in town there's items that are overpriced. If you're on a budget, I would recommend splitting your groceries between this store and the other large stores in town.

Only branded supermarket inside banff. Super crowed but the lines were managed well. So many products within that small store. The staffs were friendly. Quick checkout.

Quick in and out while grabbing a few smoothies while my friend was grabbing groceries, everything went smoothly and the cashier was friendly

I would have given 5 stars if they had bakery items baked in-store. However it has everything you need at reasonable prices.

Am in Banff for the week, so i stop to get some things and the staffs was very pleasant and helpful.
One staff when above and beyond with helping me to find and item i was looking for i did not get her name. I was WOW! Costumer service is impeccable.great place to shop in Banff.

Good convenient location if ur in Banff. We were camping and needed last minute items that we forget. This IGA was well stocked.clean place, friendly staff, ample parking.

Friendly staff, on the smaller side for a grocery store so might not be able to find less popular items there but has all the bases covered.

Too many people not following social distancing - Everyone has their masks on though.

Otherwise the store staff is very helpful!

I love this place so much! Good food, great ambience and wonderful staff. I drive down for brunch every month from Calgary and rest of the time, I am looking forward to it. Keep up the good work guys

We wouldn't want to shop at a store like this on a regular basis.
Many items sold out and empty shelves.
It takes weeks for Air Miles to appear.
Good thing they have a Starbucks with good service.

All in one super market. Fresh fruits, vegetables, meat and fish available. One stop destination for your grocery/ supplies needs.

Excellent selection for a "small town" market. Very great service. Was pleasantly surprised to find almost everything we needed except store sticks. Only room for improvement may be the parking set up, as not a lot of room for pedestrians and cars often have to share real estate for entry/exit

Easy to find, parking available, well stocked grocery store with friendly and helpful staff. Good sandwich and snacks selection for picnicking, trekking or just Hotel meals. Very convenient!

December 25,2020: It was Christmas evening. All lights inside the store were turned ON but the store was closed. More than a hundred people went and dissapointed knowing that the store was not open. They froze outside the store. You’re supposed to turn off the lights if you are going to close your store.

Perfect little grocery store for Banff.

Regarding COVID: They had a requirement for wearing masks and seem to take all COVID-19 precautions into consideration.

One big grocery store in Banff. Clean and maintained. Staffs are very cooperative and well behaved. Some of the items sold here seemed to bit a bit pricey.

This Review is referring specifically to the Starbucks location in IGA.
Holly is an absolute asset to this team and this location! She is always quick to greet us with a smile and she has such a positive energy!
She is well aware of my order now and she starts to get it ready before I even ask for it! Not only that, but every once in a while she will suggest something new and exciting to enhance my order. I have never been disappointed in any of her suggestions and she now has me hooked on some of the Fall specialties!
