If you need to eat gluten free, be aware. This place uses flour in the omelets. Apparently to make the omelets fluffy. It seemed to be an inconvenience when I ordered an omelet. "OH, we will have to use real eggs". Had stomach problems for 2 days. Will not be going back.
Average, the drink didnt have the cotton candy it was supposed to and tasted like cough syrup. I also felt like we were an after thought to the server who was focused on another table mostly. Food was meh at best.
Our waiter was great, but the host was rude and inattentive. What a difference a week makes. We were greeted by a different host - warmly and even wished a Happy New year. They walked us to our table. Instead of rushing ahead and point to the table on their way back to the front station.
I'm tentative to give a good review as I have only really had one or two good experience at this location despite coming here quite often. This most recent visit was probably the best experience we've had here. But prior to that, it's always been mediocre to poor. Waiters are rude, short tempered and have no patience with children. Food frequently comes out with mistakes and they don't know what an over-easy egg is—nor do they ask to confirm. They just give you a sunny side up, which isn't the end of the world, but it is mildly annoying when you expect what you expect. They often MISS items and just aren't very good at bringing out what's been ordered.
Food itself was decent, but server was lowkey rude and the atmosphere was disgustingly dirty! Tables not wiped and food on seats, syrup dispensers nasty! And walls have crayons and sauce all over. Very nasty and will NOT be coming back.
The service was great and the food was delicious. Took my wife out for pancakes and chicken and were not disappointed. The waiter even offered Halal chicken which was the cherry on top!
It is an excellent place to go to eat and enjoy a good time with the family. It has good food dishes and their specialty of hot kakes with their jams is a delight.
