People be careful! Never ever work for this employer! This employer is unreliable and you will be treated disrespectfully, terrible working conditions. You will be paid with huge delays even about 2 months! And you will have to constantly remind yourself! And what is more I’m really curious why at the same time someone got paid, and someone didn’t, shall I treat it as kind of discrimination, so it’s still an open question!
What happened? Please bring the previous chefs back! This was one of our most favoured local places. Today both of the front staff were both on their 1st day. Mathew was doing his best; the cooks were not. The guy loading my takeout was in a ball cap like he was working short order in a truck stop. The food had a strange spice that was used to hide bland gnocchi and over cooked chicken. Super disappointing.
Imbience is fine. Food leaves much to be desired. Over priced. Served heated stale bread. Wanted to support local but needs alot of improvements before we return.
The food was palletable but not good. My dish was supposed to have pan seared chicken breast but it was diced chunks that had a texture I've only ever had from frozen pre-diced chicken before. I also had a piece of packaging in my food. Both our dishes were salty. The server barely spoke and we didn't see him until we had been done eating for a while, then he didn't ask how the meal was. The place wasn't busy and I understand why now, we won't be returning.
I love coming here for a relaxing delicious meal. The atmosphere is lovely, the food is always amazing and I leave feeling like I’ve had a weeks vacation without the stress. Highly recommend this restaurant
Lovely inside, and a perfect patio. Service was very good. I would say that bread should be served first off, which is typical of an Italian restaurant. The bruschetta had chicory in it, as did the pasta. Have eaten at many Italian eateries, and have never had chicory on the food before.it seems to overpower the food. Tonight’s food was very salty, as was the bruschetta, which also took away from the natural flavour of the food. The sauce, looked like just a can of tomatoes with Italian herbs mixed in. Tighten these things up, and I’ll bet you see far more customers.
UNREASONABLY LONG WAIT. OVERPRICED AND AVERAGE. Only 1 other table ahead of us and we waited 45 minutes for a starter (portobello mushroom neptune) that is literally 7 small pieces of bread and cream cheese (which is 15$ btw). Waited another 45 minutes for the main dishes. ONE AND A HALF HOURS FOR FOOD. Server barely came to the table and we had to call him over for water, salt and pepper and the bill. NOT WORTH IT STAY HOME COOK YOUR OWN FOOD OR GO ELSEWHERE.
Great food.good service. Came on a Sat and had a live musician. Only suggestion, maybe some warm bread to start off the meal with olive oil and balsamic vinegar? Really surprised that there wasn't any.
We came for my husband’s birthday. The service and food was amazing. The server brought out Tiramisu for his birthday dessert. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
I had the spaghetti and they accommodated my request and added meatballs. The flavour was delightful and the portions were acceptable. I would go back there.
It was a good experience! My dish, Vitello Francesca was really good! I had liked warmer! The sangria needed ice cub. The washroom needed to be cleaned. The server was awasome!
Ate here tonight. Food was good but waiter was hard to understand as his English was bad. Wasn’t asked or offered if we would like anything else like dessert or coffee. Had to flag him down for our bill. We were gonna have dessert but we finally gave up and left. Won’t be back
This is a great little hidden gem we only recently found. The atmosphere was great, service was top notch (amazing server) and the food was great. Will be coming back for sure.
Very nice atmosphere. Anu was our waiter and gave excellent service. My Lasagne was a bit dry and the wife’s salmon was overcooked, but the live music was good.
This place is on my way home and I had two quick stops there so far. First time, I was feeling like a dessert and had Cream Caramel, and second time, I had a light breakfast - Yogurt Parfait. The food was delicious and a woman, working there, made my dine-in experience fuller - she remembered small details from my first visit and is very pleasant to talk to. Also they make great coffee, both drip and espresso. I definitely would like to comeback for a proper visit and try their tiramisu.
